If you have another option - never Starlink
I apologise for long review, but I wanted to give a full account so that anyone thinking about ordering realised that I have given 1 star for a lot of reasons.
We live in an area where "traditional" WiFi is nonexistent and a couple of neighbours had Starlink so I decided to look further. At first I felt the £75 monthly bundle which we eventually chose, was expensive, but decided to go for it anyway.
I was given a latest delivery date, and as I had not received it a day or 2 before this date to check progress, I (tried) to find out what was happening. The automated "customer support" is annoying, repeats the same words and will drive you crazy. The trick is to keep messaging again and again through this until eventually you suddenly get offered human support. The agent told me that as the system showed that I still had an hour (it was 11pm) before delivery was 'late' they couldn't do anything. I was so angry but kept polite to agent. Suddenly the next day I had an email from DHL to say they had received order and it was delivered 2 days after.
Set up is quite easy and so far service has been good. So I decided to purchase a "roof mount" with ballast weights that we could put up high on gable roof without having to drill holes and Starlink site quickly took my £75 including delivery. A few days later, I get a delivery message from DHL.
Now the fun really starts ..... DAY 1. Received SMS with delivery tracking. Late in the day, delivery tracker stops working. OK, it happens so I waited. And waited. Late evening, I received a message from DHL - "sorry, delivery could not be completed because no access to property". That's odd, the last DHL driver delivered without issue. Then another message, delivery attempt to be made the following day. Fair enough I thought. And I gave DHL very specific info to assist the courier. Repeat say 1 for the next three days. I was getting annoyed.
So back to Starlink, but I knew how to get around the system to get transferred to agent.
The first thing I was told is that they did not have a delivery date due to "high demand". Hmm, that's weird as delivery attempts have been made. Oh, the agent said ... That's the ballast weights. What???? Oh yes, we ship those separately to the actual frame. WTF Why would anyone business send one bit of pack out when other half of item is not available. That sounded crazy as they are on the website as one total item. Makes no sense that.
So. Back to DHL. Another delivery attempt, same outcome. By now I think the driver might think I would eat him because I was so fed up. I wouldn't. Anyway, the missing ballast weights eventually turned up today when courier knew where we live - maybe they read instructions.
So now we have a set of ballast weights with nothing to weight down. Perhaps Elon Musk can explain this as SpaceX who owns Starlink is one of his companies. Charge a lot of money but leave your customers annoyed, waiting (or is that weighting) for an order that isn't available.
I had to cancel starlink internet last year
I had to cancel starlink internet last year in June as we moved to an apartment and could not get signal I returned there equipment via Correos using starlink shipping label and tracking no they received it in Germany on the 27 June 2025. Now they have taken 339.00 euros from my account saying I have not returned equipment I opened a ticket with them before they took money giving all the details of my return but they still took money. They are total rogues and people should be aware of what big company's do. I have always been a believer in starlink but not anymore. 25 days after refund agreed but still no refund it only takes a few minutes to take your money but 25 days and still no refund. I would be very carefull with this company who does not care for it's customers it is to big to care.

Thanks to the two guys that turned up today to install my starlink gen3 at very short notice in bad icy conditions,very professional very friendly and all round good guys,would definitely recommend them👍
A very efficient service…
Colin replied to my initial enquiry within 12 hours. He was polite and efficient and booked in a visit. Within a week of enquiring, Starlink had been installed. The whole process was seamless. I experienced a glitch with the Starlink cable immediately upon installation which Starlink have replaced FOC. Colin is due to return next week to replace the faulty cable and hopefully I’ll then be able to experience the Starlink I’ve heard such good things about. I have no hesitation recommending this company.

5 Star Service for Starlink
Exceptional service from start to finish. Great communication and rapid booking within a matter of days. Very neat and tidy install despite a tricky house - Colin assessed all the options and gave us his views on best placement. Supplied all the kit and we are delighted with how fast the connection to Starlink is. Highly recommended.

Very unreliable. Riped me off. Wifi worse than before
Andy (business owner) and his engineer visited my property assuring me they would fix my WiFi signal issues.
Not only did they leave me worse of than before they insisted I paid for the installation before leaving my property.
My WiFi signal and stability is WORSE than before they came.
They've ignored several calls and messages from me.
I feel extremely upset and disappointed.
Effectively they've created a bigger problem and washed their hands of attempting to fix it once they were paid in full.
Definitely steer clear of this unscrupulous business

Absolutely amazing service
Absolutely amazing service. Was here within a few days of getting in touch and went through the various options of where to install our Starlink and found the best spot for it and installed and secured it. Highly recommend. Very friendly. Definitely recommend getting to install for anyone thinking of joining Starlink.

Arrived as planned, set about work, removing old dishes and tv aerials. By lunchtime we had Starlink and Sky installed and 300mb/s download.
A pleasure doing business with him and I’d recommend without a second thought.
