‘Acrylic’ = cheap plastic; overpriced to an unconscionable degree.
This company sells merchandise featuring the position of the planets on a day significant to the buyer.
My husband bought two acrylic disks ($33/ea) for our anniversary, with planets positioned as on our wedding day.
Did he order and receive what he ordered?
Yes, BUT ‘acrylic’ is just a fluff word for ‘cheap, crappy, plastic’.
I can’t say they are dishonest, because every company does this, but the pics on their website made the disks look glamorous and unique.
The disk grooved on one side indicating the orbits, and the planets are designated with tiny holes drilled through.
It feels Ike the best prize in a 50c grocery store vending machine.
He was very disappointed, as was I.
The ‘necklace’ cord this came with looks like it will break if you inhale or exhale. It comes with a fastener you can secure with pliers after adjusting for your length.
This combination looksextremely lose-able.
I cannot emphasize enough how lightweight, thin and just terrible this item is compared to its price.
He purchased a neon pink for me and neon blue for himself.
Perhaps their wood or metal ones are a better value, but at the time, they were all out of stock.
Their return/exchange policy only covers misprinted items, or items damaged in transit.
It’s a terrific and fun idea, but just know how very little you will receive for a hefty $33.
