Got in touch with customer support for a defective gun, the immediately dismissed any responsibility claiming it was damage caused by frost. I told them it couldn't be possible because I had stored it in a heated garage hence that couldn't be the root cause, so they asked for more pictures. After providing more pictures they immediately turned 180 degrees, moving forward with the warranty replacements process, silently acknowledging the fact that their initial diagnosis was wrong. They did not apologize but only asked for the invoice. When provided they told me that the seller I purchased from was not part of the "right" ones for them, so I was on my own.
So, first of all, they showed who they really are, trying to blame the customers for they garbage products, and secondly, after silently admitting I have all the rights to get a warranty replacement they found shady way to avoid honouring the warranty claim.
This isn't a behaviour I'd have expected from what I had the perception of being a reputable and trustworthy brand. It isn't that reputable and trustworthy after all.
DO NOT BUY HOZELOCK PRODUCTS, FIGHT AGAINST THIS SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
Purchased a pond pump and on first occasion got spares no problem. This time, August 2023, they sent me the wrong items, told me I had asked for the wrong items, but I had read details from previous invoice and bulb box. They then sent me foc the correct bulb, again told me I had got the details wrong. Returned items, but only received refund for items and not postage. Would not recommend this company. Also it takes c.7-10 days for them to reply to e-mail queries and their phone system is appalling!
I had cause to make a complaint about a spray gun that came with a compact hose. The spray gun split down the handle seam. I asked for a replacement not thinking it would happen. To my surprise a very pleasant lady sent a prompt reply and on sending a photo of the said gun has agree to send a replacement. I have used Hozelock products for many years and never had a problem before, l am delighted with their service.
Last week I wrote to Customer Services re concerns over my Hozelock Irrigation Programmer and the fact I was having to repeatedly replace it’s batteries …
Within 3 working days, I had a response by post and a solution to the frustrating problem.
I rate this as exceptional support and service, and it’s a pity more Companies are unwilling to do this! Thanks.
Have purchased 3 of these auto reels.
From day one they struggle to pull in all the hose. Beit full or empty of water.
Shocking system. Advise stay away.

Hozelock retractable reel won't retract apparently there's a big spring inside that breaks and you cannot repair, so don't bother with them
Hozelock your products are absolutely not fit for purpose. The multi spray gun you sell at an extortionate price is complete tat. This company needs exposing as their customer services are non existent and their guarantees not worth the promise they give. Avoid all products from this company and buy elsewhere. A very disgruntled customer 😡
Only given it one star as it’s the least available, had my 30m hose replaced two years ago, the replacement has now given up despite looking after it, rang referred to website, automatic response, tried ringing again, now no help at all, just says “not manned” use website, this is ridiculous, I wouldn’t be surprised if this company goes under in the near future!
As others have said, I have also gone round in circles trying to get a spare part. Total joke. I have now switched to Gardena products, who gave perfect prompt customer service.
As for the Hozelock auto reel wall mounted hoses. I had 4 over the years that all packed up. Never again. I now have a manual Gardena one, wall mounted, & it’s no more effort than the auto reel type. Don’t waste your money.
Garden sprinkler doesn't move with the set positions and retractable garden hose no longer retracts. In addition the hose gun leaks at the head no matter what spray type is selected

Hozelock hose accessories are overpriced rubbish. They might look fancy but they dont work well and they don't last. Stuff from Lidl is better and much cheaper. Alternatively stick to a watering can.
Hozelock you are a market leader. Perhaps The market leader!? Has your CEO or the head of your IT department followed the links to try and order spares?
I know I'm getting old and sometimes forgetful but in this day and age your spares order process seems to be well , try ordering on line and see what I mean.
Website says 'don't use me ' phone us. Ring them and guess what option 2 for spares says' go to the website ' and it then hangs up on you. If the call handlers and the web hosts don't get on please leave me the customer out of it and get your act together!!
I'm not angry , I'm annoyed. Very annoyed. I'm sick of hearing how poor we are as a country and how good everyone else is. Hozelock you have a brilliant product but you need to get a grip somewhere along the line.
All I would like is to order some spares and use Our product. Your not making it easy for me OR anyone else.

Impossible to contact re spares as just point back to website which doesnt work - not going to buy in future as no decent service been trying for 6 weeks with no success
1.Tried to buy a spare part online.
Website down until further notice
2. Emailed Hozelock they told me 'call the customer services team on 0121 313 1122'.
3. Had to make a couple of calls as was answered with a voice message saying the line wasn't open even though the call was within the times statd on the email.
4. Eventually got through only to be told they couldn't take orders till next Tuesday.
5. Suspect the website is virtually unusable
I recently had a guarantee claim with Hozelock on a faulty hose which was quite old,the agent i dealt with Olivia could not have been more helpful very clear with her help and also very prompt with all her replies,could not fault the service and the item was replaced f.o.c. Thank You. Great Service.
i bought a 30metre retractable hose reel it came with a 5 year warranty with hozelock, I registered it with hozelock so far so good. when part of it fell apart i contacted hozelock for a spare part that i could fit myself.they took my details confirmed i had a 5 year warranty, I had to send in fotos a copy of my purchace reciept, i finally got a part sent to me completly from a different hose,the part would not fit my hose, i have emailed them so so many times with fotos showing the original part and the part they sent me, but nothing,they acknowledge reciept of the emails but wont do anything for me.so basically remember this hozelock may well advertise a 5 year warranty but they certainly dont honour it, buy at your peril , customer service is like something from the 1970s, my ordeal has gone on for around 2 months now. mr c singh huddersfield

Ordered spare bracket for 2403 auto hose reel by phone call to customer services. Sent the wrong one. I returned wrong one. Couldn't send the replacement out for over a month after original purchase. Cancelled order.
