Scammers , they will over charge you every week and they will say that it is part of your contract. What they saying on the phone on and at the hub different than what you sing on contracts .

In 2023, I purchased a Tesla vehicle and made timely payments over the course of a year. Recently, another party damaged my vehicle and I reported the incident to Splend. Initially, they assured me that an excess fee waiver would be provided after three hours, but they subsequently demanded the full excess fee and threatened to cancel the contract. Three days later, they offered a replacement vehicle that had already been experiencing a tire issue. After three days, they instructed me to visit Tyre Bankstown with a punctured tire instead of my nearest home. Furthermore, when signing the agreement, there was no mention of the holiday period, which has since been added.
The behavior exhibited by Splend was unprofessional, arrogant, and indicative of a sick mentality. They failed to consider the situation of the other party and provided no assistance. For the entire week that the replacement vehicle was unavailable, I continued to pay weekly rent. Additionally, the contract contained illegal details. I intend to lodge a legal complaint against Splend. I strongly advise individuals to carefully review the agreement with a lawyer before signing, as they may be exploited by unscrupulous companies.

My entire experience with this company has been pretty awful from start to finish. A lot of promises and I realised later a lot of information not provided and promises not kept. As an Uber driver they promise support and they will help you be a fantastic driver etc etc. None of this is true, they are a punitive aggressive organisation, they sending passive aggressive text messages, the invoicing they provide is inaccurate, the app they have does not show proper billing and if you question it you are shut down. But the final insult for me was returning the vehicle, at their request as they wanted to "De-fleet" it, I discovered code for try and upsell me a more expensive rent to own vehible. I returned the vehicle as requested, they were difficult in the extreme getting that done but finally I did it and sadly left my phone charger cradle in the car. I have tried to contact them numerous times to get it back with no response. Essentially they have stolen it !!! and on top of that, the Toyota connect app tells me that the vehicle has been rented out again to the next sucker.... no doubt enjoying my phone charger. What ever you do, if you are a potential Uber driver DO NOT engage with this company you will regret it.
Based on my 2 year experience renting a car on rent to own basis, I have given myself so many opportunities to trust the company, but they don’t seem worth it. They will not disclose all the information to you and will only tell you the bells and whistles of the car. They will ask you to electronically sign a document which contains several pages and is not readily available to read unless it is emailed to you. If you have a problem, the sales team will direct you to admin who are very good at pointing things at the contract even though they know that there are certain things that they are ethically responsible for. I have lost hope in Splend and I do not want another person suffer the same. PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THEM.

Do not rent or rent to own with this company. The negative comments on its reviews are 100% correct. I have similar experience. You take their car you end up giving them what you could earn. This is a sneaky company. Pay attention to the negative feedbacks. They are not lying.

The lads are extremely helpful and Adelaide Splend they extremely help and professional, they explain everything in detail quite happy with the service I receive from the lads at Adelaide Splend.
i would not recommend this company to any one in future, had enough with their cunning terms and condition. Not all the drivers are familiar with the language they talk. friendly enough till sing up the the contract. If any one read fully they will never sing up this company.
The trading slandered should intervene with this company or any other legal body should go through the TC. There is no excuse for drivers in any shape or form in difficult situation, They have closed up all the situation in this contract and made where they can charge drivers.
I cant wait to end my contract with these buggers.
