Coming into the Soccer USA process a little later than was ideal, could have been daunting and uncomfortable with so many swirling rumblings about ‘dodgy shoehorning’ agents - from the outset SRUSA have gone above and beyond anything we could have hoped for - Chris is well-informed, authoritative, honest and straight-talking - no overpromising nonsense, the occasional reality check coupled by an unswerving commitment to do the best by our son! 5 tentative enquiries translated into 2 firm offers and yet despite being a constant source of good advice we never felt we were being nudged in any pre-ordained direction - we trust Chris and his team implicitly and even though Josh’s 1st adventure is sorted we already know SRUSA is a long-term union AMAZING!!!!

When our daughter approached us having watched an online talk and said there was talk of agencies and contracts I was immediately suspicious but signing up to SRUSA was the best thing we have done. Don and his team were great to work with! There are so many questions during the recruiting process and it can be overwhelming and stressful. But they were there to answer our questions. It is so important to find the right fit for your child whatever the level of sport your child is!

As someone who’s played at a relatively high level and been fortunate enough to coach at every level in the US including college soccer, you would think I would have a grasp on the recruiting process when it comes to leading my club players and even my own child. The truth of the matter is the soccer landscape is becoming exceedingly difficult to navigate and frankly promote your players to coaches at the collegiate level. With the abundance of elite leagues, only a very select few can have the luxury catching the eyes of the scouts. Well what are the rest of us to do? For sure continue to contact coaches, build relationships but nowadays you need an advocate. For our family we found that advocate in SRUSA and Director Don Williams. After a series of interviews and really identifying my daughters ambitions, measuring that against her wants verses her needs and ultimately identifying the level we all felt she could play at, SRUSA worked with us in identifying the college soccer programs while maintaining the utmost integrity and transparency on whether my daughter could have an impact at said institution. Ultimately SRUSA guides you through this journey to a point where you realize not only do you have 1 option but you end up with multiple choices to pursue your academic/soccer goals. I can say, without hesitation and experience in the recruiting process and with other recruiting companies, there is no other company that gets it done like SRUSA. They are the best!

Top class company built on respect, trust and solid values. My daughter Taylor is in her final year of 4 year soccer scholarship in America. Taylor is 21 and along with the rest of us in the family have been working with Jon Maloney since she was 15 right at the beginning of Taylor’s dream journey. I have to say right at the very beginning as a protective father and being a bit of a worrier, I had some anxiety around my daughter going to America to live and study. However, it was without doubt it has been best experience ever for her and she would be glad to tell you this herself when she attends srusa events as a student athlete guest speaker giving other aspiring student athletes insight and advice on her experiences in America and also working with Jon and the company. As parents, the mrs and I have been unbelievably impressed by Jon and the company. These guys are your one stop shop for getting recruited with high quality footage and recordings from well run training event get togethers with top coaches. Has made great friends and been on some great trips in America to visit friend’s families. The football / soccer is a bonus with excellent programs and facilities. International students are massively welcomed and are well supported. I tell everyone I know that if this is something your child would like to do then it’s an absolute no brainer especially when considering the value for money compared to UK universities and what they can offer. As a parent, the thought of my daughter wanting to go the USA and play football whilst studying at a University was quite daunting. She initially went along to a SRUSA ID Camp, the first thing what struck me was how professionally ran it was. This is where i met Jon Maloney who has been a constant source of help and guidance all the way through the process. From the minute we signed up with SRUSA i felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.
A little while later she took part in a competitive game against a Nottingham Forest academy side. It was at this point where the fire in her belly really lit, she gained a lot of confidence from the match.
Together we discussed putting some videos together to showcase my daughters ablilities. I was blown away with the quality of the highlight tape Jon compiled
She worked on her fitness and studying for her SAT in readiness for the SRUSA Showcase event in the December. The day itself was ran like clockwork, there were over 50 coaches watching from the USA.
There was a lot of interest shown in her from the coaches at the Universities, this was exciting for her, as a parent though it was quite daunting as to how and navigate the process. For me this is where Jon came into his own, he has previously played and studied in the USA, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience which proved invaluable. He helped us find a university that was a perfect fit for her, she is currently in Florida where she is living her dream. Jon is still available now if we need him for any advice, this for me makes SRUSA really stand out in the marketplace.

Chris and his team at SRUSA have been a great support to us as a family not just to Ollie as the client. From that first enquiry about a trial and onwards nothing has been too much trouble. As parents we were/are very apprehensive with our son going all that way to America, as parents it’s been both exciting and worrying. Right from day 1 Chris has been there for us. Any questions, concerns however trivial he’s answered and assured us. Even now, as Theo our son has started his scholarship In Michigan Chris helped us with what seemed quite a big problem at the time, Chris quickly resolved this and reassured us.
