Customer service is a disgrace as they simply do not answer emails (16/08/2020, 01/09/2020, 11/09/2020 and one today). I will dispute the transaction with my credit card company which is the last resort but this is such a waste of time...

Had some problems but all solved

I had purchased 2 items, one delivered immediately, the other item hadn't. I had some communication problems to reach out the company. But at the end, after 3 weeks I had the second item with appologies and a full refund. Appology accepted. Probably all because of covid and related problems. By the way, the product quality is good. value for money is great.

I could just copy/paste below review from Matthew. Same F31 treadmill. Same fault (deck snapped in half after 3 weeks of light use). Treadmill is declared for users up to 120 kg. I have less than 90. Same customer support experience (or lack of it) like everyone else. Only after I raised claim via Paypal, they responded asking me to send them back treadmill for repair. No way. Now waiting for response from Paypal.

Much better than other reviews suggest

I ordered weights and a weight bench late July and took delivery of the products in mid September. Took a while to get here, but company made that clear at the outset so no problem with that.

Bench came first, well tracked through Parcel Force. The weights were not delivered though, and for some reason were sent back to Germany. This wasn't Sports-tech's fault, but Parcel Force.

Communication with Sports-tech is a challenge as others have noted. Generic email, live chat on website disabled etc. However I messaged them on Instagram and they came straight back, discovered what had happened, resent the weights which came within a week.

I think the products themselves are very good value, and I got very worried when my weights went back to Germany after reading reviews on here. But all in all, my issue was resolved quickly and I'm happy with the end result.

Bought the FX300 and it arrived earlier…

Bought the FX300 and it arrived earlier than expected good packaging still a long wait but was fine with the wait it's during a busy time of 2020,

The Running belt has a default on it looked like its been cut by mistake it's a small nip right on the edge where it will fray most and the plug is European and they ask you not to use an adapter! The English instruction manual shows and English plug with it but obviously does not come with one.

I emailed three times asking to confirm if the nip on the belt was covered under some sort of warranty and to confirm what I do about the plug. I got zero response so I'm using an adapter. I'm not sure if I'll blow up one day while running but I bet I'll find out quicker than waiting for a response from sportstech!

I like the machine although it's very low on the ground so I've bought shock blocks to prop them up under the main points.

SCAM COMPANY.....AVOID
Bought F31 running machine, took my money and then had to wait 12 weeks to get it.
After 2 weeks the running board cracked and snapped down the middle. Same as everyone else not happy with this so called company, not responding whatsoever no matter how much you email.
Looked at Google Street View of the addresses they say they have stores, but surprise surprise, no sportstech shops to be seen!

Shocking Sports Tech customer service! BEWARE!

Ordered a treadmill from Sports Tech that are in Berlin. It arrived in the UK undamaged but with a display fault that would not show time elapsed correctly. There was also an intermittent creak from it when I tried it. I was asked to send video proof that I did. Then nothing. All my emails were ignored for over a month until I raised the issue with Paypal. Sports Tech eventually responded to satisfy Paypal saying how sorry they were and they wanted the display back only to check it, and they would pay for that, but when I contactd them to sort it, they did not respond to my emails again. I raised a dispute with Paypal who ruled in my favour offering me a full refund of £909 as the treadmill was not fit for the purposes it was supplied for but only if I posted back the 91kg Treadmill from the UK to Berlin. I found this was going to cost me £335 with my lack of contacts and no account with a courier firm! So, be extremely careful about buying from Sports Tech. If there are no faults with the machine it appears as other reviews say, you should be ok. BUT if you have a fault, they just ignore you. Furthermore, they do not appear to have anyone to fix their products in the UK. So if you have an issue, good luck sending heavy exercise equipment back to Germany for repair or a refund if faulty when delivered. You have been warned!

The rsx600 rowing machine is completely missold with bogus positive internet positive reviews
It does not work with any of the apps that it is supposed to and has a level of resistance that is ridiculous even on the lowest setting
We are taking legal action

Non existent communication Service

If only I had looked up this company! I bought equipment from it, only for the equipment to arrive without nuts and bolts, and lock pins to assemble it. I have tried emailing them, and it’s now two weeks without a reply. I have tried calling their Berlin office (‭+49 30 22066350‬ Berlin, Germany) it was a struggle to get the number, but the machine keeps saying I have called outside working hours. This is a super scum taking advantage of the COVID-19 lockdown need for home gym equipment .... Avoid this company.

EU cable sent - cannot use

08.09.20 This ‘company’, aka scammers, emailed me today offering to reimburse me for the schuko convertor I have on order. This means they are admitting they do not have in stock / available items they should automatically be supplying to customers. I didn’t reply. I spent £529 with them on an item they supply which cannot be used. I’m going to sue.

02.09.20 Update:
I finally received a EU - UK convertor from them and they sent me the wrong one.

I contacted the UK company named on the convertor received and asked for advice regarding where I could buy a schuko lead compatible convertor.

They gave me a helpful steer and advised me to report this company to Trading Standards as they should only supply actual fitted UK powerleads **and not separate convertors** to UK customers to comply with our standard Safety Regulations. I have done that today

31.08.20 I really wish I had checked this review page before buying from them. I bought an office treadmill from them direct.It arrived v.quickly but with a EU power cable and no UK adaptor. All the reviews I could find pre-purchase said they sent UK customers the UK adaptor separately via courier. I have contacted them x5 times and have still not received it. I have placed a complaint through the ‘trusted shops’ guarantee site and they have even ignored that query.
Refund option/s: Also, I checked my position regarding a refund as I have paid via my bank’s credit card but as they use Paypal it means there is no-automatic refund guaranteed. Only direct cc purchases to stores/shops auto-qualify for refunds ( after approaching your bank etc).

UK Buyer beware : do not buy anything from this company. They cannot be relied upon to supply what you order and their items are expensive in comparison to other brands and not that well made.

SPORTSTECH ARE FRAUDSTERS

I would have given this company NO Stars for the review if I could. I ordered the F31 treadmill on 2 May 2020 paying £690, delivery due 30 June 2020, it arrived 17 July 2020 but had no power cable so I could not plug it in to use. I have been contacting Sportstech customer service by email and numerous telephone calls to get a power cable, they have not responded to any of my calls or emails. I have a £690 treadmill that I cannot use - Sportstech are committing fraud by taking my money but not providing the necessary parts for me to use their equipment. DO NOT BUY ANY EQUIPMENT FROM THIS COMPANY

A real but terrible company with no customer service

Like most people are suggesting, this company does not communicate at all. I ordered 5 products from this company and although they have delivered a couple of the items so far, there are issues with the equipment and no one answers the telephone or emails, so I can't get resolved. I am speaking to PayPal to recover my money. I urge you not to order from this company who are actually Innovamaxx based in Berlin. They are a real company and they do eventually ship the products, but you can't get problems sorted and if like me and the screen on the SX600 doesn't work then the product is useless.
Edit: It's November 2020 now and I still don't have anything fixed and they are not refunding my money - I've started legal proceedings to try to recover my money (approx. 4000 euros).

Never answer any communication. Bought a spin bike worth 1200 and it's like cycling down hill on hardest level. Two months later still no reply from customer service

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company! They take your money straightaway, don't send out the product for months and when you do receive delivery the item is faulty with countless faults, including the following:

1. The item was very poorly packed, it did not look like a new item.
2. The oil had leaked all over it in transit which damaged my furniture on opening the box as oil split everywhere.
3. All the parts were handing loose inside the box.
The holes for the screws are not all in the correct place so the screws do not all fit into the holes.
4. The timer is missing.
5. There is glue on this item everywhere.
6. This is not only a faulty item, but it does not look new and is of poor quality.
7. Also, as I took it out of the box there was a sharp piece of metal that sliced my finger.

They have failed to respond to any of my emails and all the contact forms completed on their own website.

I am filing a claim against them to try to recover my money.

Frustrating - never again

Unfortunately it is not possible to give 0 stars....
I ordered a crosstrainer and was told it was shipped on 27-Jul-20. I should have it within few days (5-8 working days according to their website), but on 18-Aug still no delivery!
On first contact I was told that they cannot get updates on what the shipping company does - sent me a link with tracking information. This says: Out for delivery, since 5-Aug!!
When I wrote that I want my money back because it is uncertain whether I will ever get my order, I was told to wait for the delivery, refuse it and only when the order is received at their warehouse I would be paid back! Unacceptable, obviously.
When I finally said that I will request a refund through PayPal, they got rather rude. I was told that because I haven't provided a phone number when I placed the order, the shipping company could not get in touch with me to arrange a delivery. Totally not true! Luckily I had an order confirmation clearly stating my phone number. I sent it to them again, 3 days passed and nobody has called. Giving them 2 more days and then it's over to PayPal.

Faulty ESX 500 Exercise Bike. NO Customer Sevrice

Bought an ESX 500 Exercise Bike from their website. It arrived reasonably promptly.
The bike seemed OK at first.
However, I could not get it to connect to the Kinomap App; and I was unable to download the eHealth App.
Within 3 weeks of moderate use the exercise bike was making strange noises and the crank was moving unevenly.
I have emailed SportsTech 4 times since mid-July - no response whatsoever.
So looks like I'll be seeking refund via Credit Card company.

SportTeach BRT300 Weight Bench

Ordered BRT300 Weight Bench on the 8th August delivered early on 13th Aug very happy.

Good communication from Sportstech and their delivery company DPD kept me informed throughout process.
Good video (In German) and OK instruction manual sets out all the parts which were all well organised and packed, nothing missing. Impressed with quality and ease of assemble. Easy to adjust and getting started working out on the new exercise regime.

I’d leave minus stars if I could

I’d leave minus stars if I could. Waited months for the equipment to show up and it’s leaking serious amounts of oil every time it’s used. There is no way of contacting them. Seeing all the complaints on here, instagram and Facebook I don’t have any hopes in getting my money back.
