Had a slight problem on original fitting day as the company van had a safety recall so could not fit the window unfortunately. Thankfully the manager and team came and carried out the work on the Sunday to make up which was very grateful for as it was everyone’s day off. Window looks great compared to my old rotten one!

Original installers left without programming solar windows and blinds, luckily Springfield were able to finish the job quickly and professionally so we could get payment from our client.

Horrendous experience, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Double glazing seals failed within days and had been absolute nightmare to get fixed. Not even fixed, given up with ringing them and them not doing anything - HOW IS THIS ACCEPTABLE!??

I’ve sent a lot more than 1 email and I’ve rang countless times. I’ve explained to many members of staff that it is INSIDE the glass! Not from poor ventilation or condensation!
If you had actually send out somebody to replace the glass they could see that…

I finally got round to changing my old Velux for solar powered pvc ones, after working from home and wishing I could open my old Velux without the fear of it dropping onto my computer. Good product and happy could be done without the need of having my full ceiling plastered. There was a slight delay due to the Velux products taking longer at the minute but can’t be helped in the current state of affairs. Thanks again

Excellent service throughout.
Arranging for a Velux window to be replaced , process of order , initial deposit , work carried out ( in pretty appalling weather conditions wet and windy !)
They were very quick , clean and efficient .This is a grade 2 listed barn and we plan to use this service again to maintain our other Velux windows.

Very happy overall, new Velux blinds fitted in our bedroom.

New windows installed before new tenants moved in, was up against the clock but came through in time. Very happy with windows and speedy turnaround.

Springfield Developments state that they are a Nationwide Company which covered my area for Velux window servicing and repairs.
After 3 months and several e mails I finally obtained a quote for £400 and appointment.
Not knowing the details of the service , this seemed OK. On the day, the engineer was only on site for an hour, I don’t see this as value for money and he didn’t even clear the dead flies away.!

I complained, but have received no reply.

Just had four Velux windows refurbished by Steve and Ross. This was based upon a recommendation by Ross when he replaced a double glazed unit a couple of weeks ago. The state of the existing seals and the sodden nature of the frames of the four Velux windows completely warranted a refurbishment. But for the unfortunate failure of the doubled glazed unit and the fault diagnosis I wouldn’t have even considered seal deterioration causing water ingress. Thanks to Ross I now have many more years with my existing Velux windows.
Steve and Ross were very professional, friendly, extremely tidy and COVID compliant.
Another excellent job by Springfield Developments which I’m sure will save me replacement costs in the future.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE
I had these people out some months ago to fit a dog flap which they did not position correctly leaving it too high for my two small dogs. They subsequently have to jump up to get in and out. When I advised them of this, after sending me nonsensical responses, they finally got the gist of what they had done and suggested I got a step for my dogs to help them through the flap!! Either that or I had to pay to fix the error that they had made. They then chose to blank my messages. Tried to leave a review on their website, which magically did not see the light of day. Avoid at all costs!!!

Wow, the left hand really doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Thanks for your response but there is no husband. I enquired about the flap I needed fitted, I told you where I needed the flap fitted and I advised it had been fitted in the wrong position. You chose to ignore my messages and only respond now when my review is public. Please get your facts straight.

Took a while to organise the fitting - first visit was just a site visit when I thought they were coming to install. Then they had to change the date then finally I had to move a holiday around to accommodate. But they stayed in touch throughout and the quality of the actual work done and the surepetcare flap was excellent

Really good communications, a good site evaluation visit and great lads sent to do the job. That on top of coming in 25% below the other local Velux recommended installers. What's not to like or maybe I should say love!

From beginning to end Springfield Development were courteous, efficient and extremely efficient. The onsite team were friendly and got the job done without a hitch. I would recommend this company for all your Velux window issues.

I emailed to get a quote from Springfield developments for a broken double glazing pane, their website clearly shows my area, Google sent me their way due to their website covering my area, they provided the quote which I accepted, and provided both address and contact no. (They were quick of the mark to request the details and provide the quote I'll add) 5rhs later I get a one line email saying "Oh gosh i am sorry we dont cover your area". Absolute Cowboys!!!

What a wonderful firm. Helpful efficient people on the phone. Prompt service. Lovely technicians, smiley, tidy and speedy! and they cleared everything up. Can't praise more.

Living in Yorkshire, my first port of call when my Velux windows developed a fault was to call local fitters as recommended by Velux's website and over ambitiously named 'help line'. They proved to be of no help whatsoever including one 'company' who turned up with a paper clip for a tool (literally) and never came back despite making such a promise. On the second attempt with Velux, it was suggested that I should contact Springfield Development from across the border in Lancashire. This proved to be an excellent move! The folk at Springfield have shown themselves to be totally professional - very efficient, keep to their promise and very clearly know what they are doing. They will in future be my first port of call. Thank you to Lucy, Stuart, Gareth and particularly Mark for a first class job!

We ordered two sun tunnels to be supplied and installed by Springfield. Their service was excellent, the price was good and the installation was effective, neat and quick. Definite 5 star Rating, particularly for the installers, Mark and Gareth who clearly know their trade. Happy to recommend
