Rude staff at the register in Naples 2 times I was treated poor out of 7 and I am done shopping in a negative environment. Both times I was minding my own business waiting to pay when I was talked down to by the check out person. I have no reason to return.

I am Hispanic

I am Hispanic, USA citizen, I went to the store in corrales NM.September 1st, 2021 at 9:44 the cashier named Francella was really rude. she yelled at me not to put my phone number, In the machine where the payment is dialed, the terminal, she moved it to where she could see it, and with a disgusted face and after making a noise of Annoyance, she canceled my number from the machine. But when the next client arrived, I greeted her very kindly.
I didn't say anything there, it was because I really felt sorry for it. It is really ugly that anyone treats that way.

I am not going to go there never never never

Great produce and tasty vegan items!

Love this grocery store! The produce is always very fresh and I love the vegan items it offers. Keep up the good work Sprouts! It is expensive that is why I gave it four stars. The atmosphere is always clean, bright, and cheery.

I worked at sprouts for about a year and a half. In that time I was yelled at, belittled, made to feel stupid and incompetent. They don't care about their employees at all. During the pandemic did they have a plan for people out because of covid? No of course not. We just had to work harder for poverty wages. Screw them. Burn their stores to the ground

Oh my gosh I LOVE THIS PLACE

Oh my gosh I LOVE THIS PLACE! I usually shop at another Bargain Market and at another CoOp… I stumbled in here just to see what it’s about and was pleasantly surprised
They had so much fresh produce and I got so much more than at the other places that I usually shop at. They also had a huge selection of plant based products that my diet fosters. I am in love!!!!

Sprouts is my favorite grocery store

Sprouts is my favorite grocery store. Veggies and fruits fresh... everything is good. Willing to pay for organic...
This review isn’t about the food but about the lack of customer service.
At the register, the cashier and the bagger (TSHIRT said Head Cashier!?)
Neither acknowledged me but kept talking/socializing about “who said what to whom”
No eye contact, and when I asked the bagger not to bag the roasted chicken (because it was very hot) she left it for me to put it my cart. Then walked away!
I’m noticing a trend at this particular store where the cashiers and baggers socialize with each other and ignore customers.
What about engaging with your customers,
leaving a better impression than feeling ignored??

UNSCRUPULOUS SCANNING SCAM

Just spent $320.00 at sprouts in Clovis, CA. Could my bill be so high because every time the cashier scanned fruits or veggies that needed to be weighed she kept her hand on the item she was scanning.... this adding more weight to each item???? Her bagger kept trying to talk to me while she kept doing this!?!? So disappointed in this store.

Employees wearing political statement shirts

I love to shop at Sprouts; however, on my last shopping trip I noticed something that might just be the beginning of a disturbing trend and get me shopping at another store. Our young checkout girl wore a T-shirt that read "Black Women Matter." Besides the fact that I have always thought all women, men, children, and animals matter, I do not think emplyees should be wearing political statement clothing. Why not just have employees wear shirts that advertize Sprouts?

DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!! Former Courtesy Clerk

Management (John, Joe, Patty and that no eyebrows having Kim) is full of S***!!! They’re nothing but a garden of SNAKES! Affairs with employees, mistreatment of employees, they don’t pay you well, ignorant, unhelpful, they don’t care about their employees, distasteful, bullies, toxic and unprofessional. They refuse to let you move up or transfer to another Sprouts, certain behaviors they allow and don’t do anything about and they only care about their precious $50 an hour and how HR is paying their bills, paying for their kids to go to college, paid vacations, retirement benefits, paying for their fancy houses and expensive cars, etc. They're just robots. While they’re lounging in the back office earning $50 an hour doing nothing, the employees are out doing the REAL work earning $10 an hour. They make you feel as if working in that PRISON is all you’re good for. They don’t care about ANYONE. They’re a bunch of Ungrateful, unethical, self centered, untrustworthy, conniving and poor disgusting excuse of human beings. They can go to HELL!!!!!!

Goodbye Sprouts

I sent this letter to Sprout's CEO. I got a form letter back from customer service. Perhaps he will see this:

I have supported Sprouts since 2007 when I lived in AZ. I was overjoyed when I moved to FL to find a Sprouts had just opened two miles from my new home, and I was saddened to discover when I recently moved to SC that the only Sprouts is an hour away from me in Greenville. Most of my grocery budget has been spent in your stores for all those years. As a nutritionist, I have literally done field trips in your store to teach clients how to make good food choices. Until now.

I don’t wear a mask. Anywhere. I have not been turned away nor has anyone tried to force me to do so, including in your stores. However, when I went to your store in Greenville, I was informed that I could not shop in Sprouts without a mask despite my medical exemption. Your manager, Scott Mashburg, informed me that I had to leave the store immediately if I would not wear a mask on April 15, 2021 at 5:25PM. Despite my telling him I have a medical exemption. Despite me explaining I spend a great deal of money every month in Sprouts. Despite me describing I had driven an hour to shop there. The store was virtually empty (make note of the time of this fact). He gave me a handout from corporate stating the mask requirement because of “Sprout’s commitment to protecting everyone’s wellbeing”. He stated that this could be enforced because Sprouts is privately owned.

Privately owned does not mean free rein to discriminate. Private business has a legal classification as a “public accommodation” according to federal law (Title III Reg 28 CFR 36.104). Federal law 28 CFR 36.202 prohibits denial of participation and equal access or exclusion from the same or equal service as others. Denying me entry, requiring me to be served outdoors, limiting me to home delivery, having someone choose my foods for me, or treating me any differently based on my appearance is also a violation of Title II, III, and VII of the US Civil Rights Act of 1967. US Title 42, Section 12101 states it is unlawful to deny entry to persons with disability or perceived medical conditions. This is also a violation of the American Disabilities Act, who have defined mask exemptions for various conditions and whose fines are steep. The First Amendment to the Constitution also protects my right to appear in a place of public accommodation without limitation. Add that the South Carolina constitution protects the same rights, and the fact that there is not even a mask mandate in this state just like Florida where I had no problem shopping in your stores mask free for the last year, and I believe you will understand that refusal to serve me constitutes unlawful discrimination and violates constitutional, federal, and state laws over and over again.

I and all the people who stay away from your business because of this harassment HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO ENTER, SHOP AND BE SERVED AT YOUR PLACE OF BUSINESS WITHOUT COVERING OUR FACES. We are protected by federal, state and constitutional law, and are not subject to the whims of business owners and politicians who would have us believe local mandates and private ownership supersede the law and inalienable rights.

I am not happy that I must now support Jeff Bezos by health food shopping exclusively at Whole Foods (normally I would go to Sprouts first and then WF only if Sprouts did not have an item), but I shopped in his store just down the street from yours the same day with no mask and no harassment so I will pay more to be able to breathe while I shop for my food. I made other discoveries that day: I shopped at Publix (something I never did before as I relied on Sprouts to provide my needs) and found they have many of the items I would normally buy at Sprouts and some were even less expensive – again, mask free. And in conversation with other unmasked people in stores, I was given contact info for like-minded attorneys who despise businesses and politicians who are overstepping their bounds and are helping those who insist on preserving rights -- pro bono.

It’s time that those of us who want to maintain the rights mentioned above scream as loudly as those who live in fear. Are you listening? Or will you watch your “team members” you claim to be protecting lose their jobs because you slowly go out of business (as evidenced by Scott’s own expressed concerns and an empty store at a time when people are looking for dinner items)? I am hoping you will instead focus on your true responsibility: providing excellent groceries at fair prices, great customer service, and employment for people who need it. It is each of our own responsibility and choice to protect our health in ways that really work for us.

God bless America. Land of the free.

I never, ever will buy again to any Sprouts

This store in Tustin Ca and generally Sprouts don't even deserve a single star if I could not give even one. I called the 1800 corporate and they didn't solve the issue neither! Spoke with a lady named Ivvone and The "manager Ana" in Tustin doesn't have any customer service skills I was in shock. This is ridiculous and outrageous that they couldn't exchange a bottle of vitamins of $30 when I never ever return anything on those loyalty years of being a loyal customer for many, many years about 12 years buying at the store but no more never again will buy in Sprouts terrible customer service and ridiculously doing nothing for a loyal client!!!
...No wonder now that I am writing this review and saw 2 stars rating! If they are horrible!!!

Having asthma and unable to wear a mask, it was a relief that our city's mask mandate expired. However, in spite of that fact, I was told at Sprouts, essentially "we don't care about your medical condition, we won't check you out". No problem. I left. I promise you, forever, you'll never again check me out, as I won't be back. You just lost a lifetime customer over your little mask mandate.

Originally I loved Sprouts

Originally I loved Sprouts. As someone with extreme health issues I felt safe to go to a "smaller" grocery store that still had specialty items for my obnoxiously restrictive diet. However the last 3 times I have been to the one in the Coachella valley there have been multiple people without masks, not even one around their necks. This is a food business, you are in contact with food that other people are taking home. I do not trust the general population to not be jerks and keep each safe and businesses are supposed to oust jerks like these people. I will not go back now, and in a resort area, they need locals like me.

Today in the Sprout market in 120 W Ontario Ave, Corona, 92882 CA they refused to serve a customer without a mask, it is a violation of human rights guaranteed by the constitution and a violation of customer rights. This Nazi store should be boycotted!

Snobby, too pricey, and not truly organic

I have shopped in several Sprouts Farmers stores around Fort Worth, TX and I'm done with them! I will no more purchase any product there. The workers are snobby and most of the time you don't see them around. Many items contain lots of sugar, they actually have very few organic items, and the prices are too high. I am grateful that I've found another health food store in Downtown, where the foods are really truly organic, and this is where will be shopping regularly from now on.

Terrible service. Employees don’t respect bodily autonomy or freedom, they don’t respect HIPPA or illness either. This store will never again see a dollar from me or my family and I do not recommend this store to anyone.

Discrimination & Bad Behavior from Store to Corporate

My partner and I went to a Sprouts store to do a simple return. We had bought too much coffee and wanted to simply return it. The cashier was hesitant and said she couldn't return it even though we had the receipt, and was purchased within a couple of days. Nothing was wrong with the bag.
She then went to ask the head cashier (Batitste) even though I feel like he was not using his real name. He had a hard time explaining why he couldn't return it. He then said it was at his discretion-so pretty much just because. He was the only white person amongst us, and it really felt like he was utilizing that to his benefit and satisfaction.
I had emailed customer service about it and didn't get a response until I had emailed a 2nd time 5 days later. Laura wrote back for further review on the incident and that I would be contacted. That has not happened. I waited about 5 days, and decided to call their corporate office to speak to someone higher who could do something about the matter. When I got to the operator, she obviously had a didn't care attitude, and wanted to get me off the phone to do whatever was more important for her.
I left a message to a Laurie who is Laura's supervisor, and have not heard ANYTHING.

This incident happened on Easter, the 4th.
It has been well over a week since anyone has done anything about the incident.
This is really showing how they run their company, down to even the operator.
I get the sense that that kind of behavior, bad attitude, and discrimination is more than ok. If it is, then I will definitely be shopping somewhere else.

Sprouts doesn’t trust what they sell.

Today I went in a Spring, TX Sprouts without a mask. Was able to grab 2 IMMUNITY BOOSTING supplements before being told to put a mask on.
Ironic don’t you think?
SPROUTS DOESN’T HAVE FAITH IN THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL.
Contacted 3 friends before I got home. So, within 5 minutes they lost four customers. And yes, we will keep spreading the word.
Buh-bye, Sprouts.
