Terrible experience, no communication skills present within the company. staff seem to be just tipping along doing the bare minimum and getting a paycheck for it while exploiting companies for fees. Avoid avoid avoid!

I was rejected by Staffline for a warehouse role in Avonmouth purely because I use a bicycle to commute.

I explained clearly that I had been cycling to work for over an hour each way for three years without any issues to Avonmouth, but this was completely ignored.

It seems they assume that having a car automatically makes someone more reliable, which is not necessarily true. Mechanical issues, traffic and delays can affect any form of transport.

This kind of decision feels unfair and based on assumptions rather than actual experience or reliability.

Very disappointing.

The worst agency I have ever dealt with – a huge disappointment, no support, and a complete lack of respect. Very poor organisation and an extremely negative experience. There are definitely better agencies than this one. I would definitely not recommend it

After attending my registration in the morning, I was told I would receive a call within a couple of hours. That never happened. Instead, I received a call late in the evening. Despite this poor communication, I still accepted an assessment for the BMW site the next morning and made sure I attended.

Later that same day, I received another call telling me I had passed my assessment and that my training would be on Thursday morning. I was clearly told this by the person handling my application, and his mistake has now cost me a job.

The next morning I simply messaged to confirm the timing for Thursday as I was told 2 different start timings once again on call, only to be told that the training was apparently that same day and that I had already been removed from the candidate list for non-attendance.

This is disgusting. I was clearly told Thursday, yet I was treated as if I deliberately didn’t show up. If I had been told it was that Wednesday, I would have attended without question — especially considering I had already made the effort to attend registration and assessments at short notice and successfully passed them.

What makes this worse is that I have been completely ignored by the one person i emailed regarding the training timing, who has just completely left me on read since & removed me from the list. Being treated like this after completing most of their process is unacceptable.

This experience shows terrible communication, poor organisation, and zero respect for candidates’ time. I would strongly avoid Staffline, they claim to be the biggest uk recruiters but yet tons of negative reviews it’s like they just sign you up and then completely ghost you. Disgusting.

Avoid these crooks, they avoiding to pay SSP, they don't pay out holidays, saying if you haven't taken the holidays til end of the year, you loose them 🤦, but you couldn't take them before end of the year, as you had to work 🤦 They are crooks and scumbags. I'm going to court with them, they will pay more then 🙂

Awful company wasted my time on neumorus occasions never materialised into a single hours work put hours and hours into corresponding with them over there mix up absolutely racist descriminatory behaviour appalling unacceptable by any standards

Staffline are very rude

Constantly getting the phone put down on me can not even apply for a job so what is the point of this agency

I’ve never had a good interaction with staffline in Peterborough office, the staff are not very helpful ignorant and blunt not very helpful, how ever I have spoke to Rukhma from the Peterborough branch and she restored faith for me for staff line recruitment, she is very respectful and very understanding one of the best representative within staffline who takes time to help and understand the issue. I hope the owners of staffline take this in to consideration you need more employees like Rukhma who actually is willing to help the 5 stars is only for Rukhma’s service not for the company. I hope the higher management look at this review and give her a promotions or the recognition she deserves. I would recommend people to staffline this would be only because of Rukhma’s respectful attitude..

The company advertise jobs that are not available or have never been available, they will still register you and take all your details but won't actually help with finding you a Job the communication from the office in Lutterworth is very poor and there chatbot flinn is absolutely pointless

There piss takers offer jobs than take the piss by hoping you forget they offered you the job .. if you want security please go with a real security company like kingdom or mite not these idiot who could organise a meal for one in burger king

Like many here, if I could leave no stars, I would. One star being the minimum and an overall rating of just 1.2 says it all.
Truly, utterly, utterly incompetent and rotten to its core. Some nice people but zero accountability or authority to help. Honsestly, a really, really poor company with a terrible culture

Court case is coming for these idiots. Not paying holiday pay when it was put in 4 weeks ago. Going to the office in Manchester. I don't mess about the idiots can deal with me and my hubby face to face

My advice for those who are planning to leave StaffLine or move to contracts with employers through this agency: be careful, because they do not inform the tax office that you have stopped working for them. Later, you may be taxed as if you have two jobs, and you will have to resolve the issue yourself by calling HMRC. We are being honest here — we know it’s almost impossible to get through to them, and you will spend a lot of your time trying to sort out such a problem.
So, please, after leaving or moving to a contract, make sure to check whether your tax code has changed and that you are not paying double tax, as it may appear on the records that you are working two jobs. So be very careful.

The agency welcomed me for a delivery job with a 5 minute interview, I started work and that was all I ever heard from them. My hours in my paycheck were wrong, they never answered the phone, they do not care about welfare or a right fit, they really are an awful company with untrained and uncaring employees.

What a disorganised company they cannot even email you the correct details about interviews.

Agencies and companies like Staffline should be shut down and banned from practice .
The most appalling management I had to deal with, breach of ACAS code of practice, HSE and various ombudsman codes and legislations.
Closed down again, and all managers who aren't fit for purpose banned on a global level

My son has been waiting for feedback from an assessment which he was promised last Wednesday. (It’s now Monday).

Phoning the Regional Manager recruiter whose details he was given a few times since then, the call goes straight to voicemail and he’s sent an automated text asking him to text. His text messages remain unanswered.

Phoning the number we found on Google for the relevant Staffline office, they denied being involved and said we needed to contact the head office in Nottingham to get the correct number, as being a “new office” they didn’t have contact details of any otjer branches, and being a “different branch” they couldn’t find his details on their system after his assessment.

Phoning the head office, an automated reply which ends “sorry we’re unable
to take your call right now”‘which
then cuts off.

Surely a simple phone call with a start date or a “no thanks” isn’t too much to ask for, is it.

Stay away from this lying deceitful company. Proper scam artists. They have cost me money and a lot of wasted time.
