Delivery was slow and only one of my items arrived. I contacted customer services about the missing item and was initially responded to quickly but have heard nothing further and still haven’t received the item or a refund.

I purchased 42Berol pens from this…

I purchased 42Berol pens from this company. As I worked my way through them I had 19 out of 42 that did not work. I contacted this company and was told I had 14 to return and as I hadn’t there was nothing they would do!! £25 worth pens. I will not purchase from them again!

Good ordering system but poor delivery service

Very good ordering system and competitive pricing on some items. However, the delivery tracking is non existent so you have no idea when to expect a parcel. Ordering in this manner may be acceptable for businesses as there is invariably someone present during day hours. Waste of time for house owners as you cannot define or see a potential delivery day. Worth paying more for goods elsewhere so you can see when parcels may arrive.

Customer service is very good, pleased now

Not thrilled I'm afraid. Ordered a filing cabinet and suspension files. Suspension files arrived next day. Filing cabinet didn't turn up, I contacted customer services after a week to be told that there was a problem with the delivery. So I asked for the same product in a different colour. I saw the price was lower on the website but wasn't offered a refund of the difference, I didn't bother asking for it. The filing cabinet turned up the next day, but the suspension files don't fit the cabinet! It would have been good if something was in place to catch this error when both items are ordered at the same time. So now have to spend extra money again buying the correct size suspension files from Amazon. Customer service were pleasant to deal with, though.

Update: After writing to staples and after leaving a review, staples got in contact and were really good about refunding. So much happier now, thank you.

There's something weird about this…

There's something weird about this seller. I was looking to buy a Bisley desk and Staples had it cheapest online. To begin with I started the process on my phone, at checkout the lock symbol wasn't present, so thought I'd double check I'd came through on the correct website and used my laptop instead. Second time round, correct website, item in basket, the lock symbol was present but suddenly the price was £50 more for the same item.

Not sure what they're playing at but I bought from someone else for peace of mind.

Edit to the reply: nothing to do with Google. It was in my basket, on the website, one on my phone, exact same basket on a web browser. Two separate prices. Just a phone browser lacking the security lock.

AWFUL PAYMENT SYSTEM

I tried to purchase 2 items from staples, I used PayPal which eventually failed, then tried Google pay which again failed, finally I used a credit card and the money transferred but the order failed. I've contacted the helpline who told me to use private browsing and order again then wait at least 12 days for a refund.
This is AWFUL, be warned, I will never do any business with staples again.

24hrs later.....
Staples have contacted me about this event and made good on the order I had placed, which was delivered today.
I appreciate this very much and thank the Staples team for their attention with this matter.
