just got back from a 10-day trip to Kyrgyzstan with Stay Wild and loved every minute of it. What really made the trip was Beka, our guide and the amazing women who I met on the trip!! The itinerary was great and had a little bit of everything- nature and culture. Everything was so well organized.

Kyrgyzstan itself is breathtaking, and having guides who knew the terrain, the culture, and the local communities made all the difference.

Highly recommend Stay Wild trips!

Before my trip to Kyrgyzstan, all of my group travel experiences had been with Plotpackers. Those trips were incredible, but what Kate has built with Stay Wild is on another level. The itinerary, the places we visited, and the activities we experienced were far beyond what I ever expected from a budget group travel company.

One thing that stood out to me is how much thought goes into every detail. Not only are the obvious things like accommodations and activities planned, but many meals are included as well, which is something I haven’t seen on most group trips. What impressed me even more is how hands on Kate is. When she launches a new trip, she actually goes herself to see what works and what doesn’t. For example, after seeing how challenging the hike to Altyn Arashan Pass was for some of the girls, she added a horse trekking option to make the experience more accessible. I’ve never seen someone so passionate about creating the best possible itinerary, and I’m incredibly thankful I came across Stay Wild on TikTok.

Stay Wild is a company built around empowering women, not just the women on the trip, but also the local women in the communities we visit. My Kyrgyzstan trip, which was a collaboration with Tryna Go There, was everything I hoped it would be and more.

A huge part of that experience was our guide, Beka. She was incredibly down to earth and by the end of the trip she felt like a second mother to all of us. She constantly went above and beyond to help the group. When one of the girls didn’t have suitable shoes for the hike to Altyn Arashan Pass, Beka offered her own trekking shoes. She also offered to spot people cash at souvenir shops and local restaurants until we had a chance to get to another ATM. None of those things were expected of her, but she did them anyway without hesitation. I’m not sure how Stay Wild found her but she truly made the trip what it was. In fact, so many of us bonded with her that we were talking about how we all want a Kyrgyzstan Part 2 trip so we can explore the southern region where she’s from.

Beyond the amazing itinerary, the community that Stay Wild has built is something really special. There were several moments on this trip where I pushed myself well beyond my comfort zone. At times, I doubted my physical abilities, especially during the horse trek and some of the more challenging hikes. The support I received from Beka and the other women on the trip helped me push through those fears and accomplish things I honestly didn’t think I could do.

I wouldn’t have had those experiences without the community that Stay Wild has created. The friendships, encouragement and support throughout the trip were just as meaningful as the incredible places we visited. I’m already booked on another Stay Wild trip to Egypt, and after experiencing Kyrgyzstan, I have no doubt Kate has planned another unforgettable trip!!!

The itinerary was exceptionally well planned, versatile, and dynamic. What I appreciated most was how seamless spontaneous adjustments were made when the weather didn't play along, ensuring we never missed out on a great experience.
Kate and Aidana ensured everyone was genuinely cared for. Food restrictions and dietary needs were handled thoughtfully and without any hassle. To top it off, the accommodations were wonderful, a perfect balance of beautiful, comfortable hotels and authentic, warm homestays. I also loved that about 80% of our activities and local partners were woman-owned. Supporting female entrepreneurs while experiencing the local culture made the journey feel even more meaningful.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

My trip to Kyrgyzstan with Stay Wild Travel was the trip of a lifetime, as I'd imagine all of their guided trips may be. You can tell Kate put so much thought and physical research into every detail - from the content and timing of the itinerary, to every place we stay, to the small businesses (many are women-owned!) we support along the way. Nowhere is this evidenced more than with her choice of a local guide to adventure with...Aidana was an excellent leader and the trip and group dynamic wouldn't have been the same without her enthusiasm, knowledge, inclusivity, and warmth. She truly cared about everyone's safety and whether they were having a good time.

Not only will you likely have so much fun on this trip, your eyes will feast on the beautiful scenery, you will come away having learned something about a new place and about yourself, preconceived ideas and hang ups will be challenged, and thanks to adventuring with like-minded women, you may develop friendships that last long after the trip ends.

Spent 10 days in Kyrgyzstan with Stay Wild Travel. Everything was so well organised, the local guide was fantastic and I couldn’t rate this company enough. We were lucky enough to meet Kate, the owner, along our way, and she was so kind and even gave me a Kyrgyz jacket she had recently purchased after I complimented it ! Very professional, always felt safe and looked great and an adventure of a lifetime ! If you’re considering taking a trip with Stay Wild, this is your sign !!

Everything was amazing, from the itinerary, the places we stayed at, to the food! Most of all the I'd like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful people working hard to ensure our trip went smoothly! Especially our amazing guide Aim, who made the trip so much fun and insightful!

I went on the Kyrgyzstan trip and had an amazing time with them. Communication was quick and clear. Our tour guide, Aim was brilliant and incredibly thoughtful and shared so much about her culture with us (let us try fermented horse milk and crashed a wedding). I loved the itinerary and I think 10 days was a good amount of things for us to do and see the country! I also appreciate that there were different options for the group to choose, if they didn't feel up for doing the Ala Kul pass. There was a lot of food so never had to worry about getting hungry. All the vendors and businesses they worked with have been very welcoming and accommodating for the gluten free and vegetarians. One thing I wish we had more time was for souvenir shopping (itinerary was very well packed, so some people didn't have time for that at the end) and also more clarity on the ethics and care for the horse's well being on the horse riding/living situation part! Otherwise I really enjoyed that the businesses supported NGOs and women run/lead businesses.

Amazing itinerary with an authentic feel, local people! Especially the focus on supporting female initiatives was amazing! Also the local guide Aima made the trip so much better, giving interesting insights and always made one feel taken care of! Lovely group of people and and amazing opportunity to visit a country which you might not want to visit on your own!

I went to Kyrgyzstan with Stay Wild travel and it was the trip of a lifetime. Everything was so well organised, and our guide Aim was the best. She really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I have the most amazing memories from this trip, from the places we visited to the amazing girls I met!
What I also really loved was the fact that the company really supports local women in particular. The hotels, restaurants, workshops… were all female owned companies, and I live to support that!

Aim was such an amazing tour guide. Sometimes I forgot she was our guide because she honestly felt like part of the group. She made me feel so so comfortable and I could go to her for literally anything. I felt safe and comfortable in the hands of Aim. The itinerary was also fantastic. We got to experience so much of Kyrgyzstan and I’m so so happy I chose to book with Stay Wild/Tryna Go There. We got the option to do the Ala-Kul pass or stay behind and experience natural hot springs. I did the hike but it’s nice to have the option for people who aren’t entirely sure if they could do the hike. I wasn’t nervous or concerned at all on this trip. I had THE BEST TIME EVER

This has now been my second stay wild trip. Cannot recommend this company enough! Amazing itineraries and always such a great group of girls to travel with!

This was much more than just a trip for me. Being able to connect to such amazing woman, learning from each other, helping each other, has touch parts of my soul deeply. We have lived adventures that I will never forget, in one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen. Being able to know Kyrgyzstan together with them made it an experience that will always be in my heart.

And all of this was possible because of Stay Wild. I felt safe, cared for, and supported throughout the entire experience. The team gave me all the support I needed, with the utmost care and attention. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned to make sure we had the best experience possible.
On top of that, the itinerary was truly unique, with experiences I haven’t seen offered anywhere else, while also supporting local women and their businesses. Everything was absolutely impeccable, far beyond anything I could have imagined.

I had an absolutely amazing time with Stay Wild in Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 I wouldn’t have changed a minute of the trip! It was so thoughtfully planned and organised and executed brilliantly. We had an incredible local guide and my dietary needs (vegetarian and dairy free) were always catered for. I love that supporting local women’s businesses is at the core of the company. What a trip to Kyrgyzstan!!! I managed to get a place last minute when someone dropped out, and I’m so glad I did! The trip is so well-organised, with so many activities and opportunities to do fun things. Wow what an incredible adventure across Kyrgyzstan with Stay Wild. The trip was jam packed with awesome activities that really highlighted the incredible culture and stunning nature of the country. Everything was organised to a tea and our local guides knowledge was so impressive. An adventure I will never forget.
