Uitstekende koffie en snelste levering ooit!
De koffie van dit bedrijf is werkelijk uitmuntend. Bovendien is de levering razendsnel en efficiënt. Ik woon in Amsterdam en binnen 2 uur stond de (fiets) bezorger al voor de deur! Wat dit bedrijf echt bijzonder maakt, is hun duurzame aanpak. Ze kopen direct bij boeren in Afrika, waardoor ze lokale gemeenschappen ondersteunen en eerlijke handel bevorderen. Als je op zoek bent naar heerlijke koffie, snelle levering en duurzaamheid, zoek dan niet verder. Een geweldige keuze!

Profesioneel en persoonlijk
Steanbeans is professioneel én persoonlijk, en levert producten van hoge kwaliteit. De koffiebonen zijn fantastisch, en de service ook geweldig. Zo kreeg ik bij een van mijn eerste bestellingen een pak havermelk gratis om te proberen (ik wilde er niet gelijk 6 kopen). Bij een andere bestelling vroeg ik in de notitie bij de bestelling op welke maalstrand ik de grinder het best kon instellen (voor Mbili koffiebonen). Toen de bonen geleverd werden toen kwam Stean zelf even binnen om te helpen de grinder goed in te stellen. Inmiddels heb ik ook een koffiemachine van Steanbeans, elke dag genieten. Het enige nadeel? Dan ik buiten de deur geen koffie meer kan bestellen, want niks kan toppen aan onze eigen koffietjes.

Not so fresh and not so easy, but great potential
It was quite hard to find out where to (physically) buy certain beans and how fresh they are. I used the chat function on the website which seems to clear the conversation so you don't know what was said.
I ended up ordering online with the promise beans would be maximum two weeks old as the roast date is not known through the website. One was 2,5 weeks old and the other over 4 weeks.
A bit disappointing, especially with the minimum size being 500 gram and to have no shipping costs you need to order 1 kilo. This is why I prefer to go to a physical place and pick out appealing fresh beans.
I do however like the concept and I generally really like east-African coffee's. So apart from the freshness and that it wasn't an easy purchasing experience, I hope to try it another time in the future.
