Steve Pavlina Course Review

I had the displeasure of taking part in one of Steve's courses and it was an over priced waste of time. Steve makes up the material on the spot and it is generally all over the place and gives some of the most basic information you could ask for. He doesn't actually solve any of the things he says he would do in the sales pages but just lies constantly.

There's a reason why you can't see any place to write reviews or why there is no refund policy. If you ask for one he will merely suggest that the reason his courses doesn't work is because your not ready to 'grow' enough. Generally he uses very sleazy sales psychological tactics. There are a lot of unhappy customers but Steve finds some way to avoid responsibility and blames other people instead actually trying to make a product that is worthy of people's time.

Steve himself is a very strange man. He seems to live in this weird delusional land avoiding any type of feedback or criticism and making random things up all the time. If there is any feedback or criticism against him he will try and gaslight you and make it out like it's all your fault (even if everyone else has the same criticisms). Any issue with his products and he runs away and tries to blame anyone else rather than actually trying to do a good job. He seems like a very insecure person.

I generally think this man might have some type of personality disorder (or multiple). There's something very 'off' about him and his weird delusions and I am not the only person that has taken one of his courses or products that have said the same thing. His communication skills are terrible and comes across like someone 'practicing' being a sane person.

Since there aren't many honest reviews and because Steve lies about the successes of his courses a lot.

Hopefully this exists here to deter someone else from being scammed by him and his terribly overpriced courses.

Conscious Growth Club

I just thought it would be best to give my account of joining CGC in the second year so that if someone is at home deciding they can see two opinions of it.

When I joined the majority of the people did not renew their membership due to the forums being extremely inactive. There was even a poll saying why there would be no renewals and the majority vote was on it being too expensive for what the value was.

Steve himself wasn't even active in the forums most of the time. CGC I think appealed to members that find the socialising part of the community great but there is a huge lack of focus on goals. Goal achieving or success is almost shunned in the community but navel gazing and working out how you feel about things is loved. So if your focus is on practical real life goals you would best be off joining a community focused on that goal. If you want to earn more money etc. Join an investing community etc. Good ones don't cost 2k a year either.

Since leaving I've joined many communities all relating to each specific goal of mine and have spent way less money whilst getting a lot closer to my goals.

CGC is great if you want to meet people and hang out with other people but the 'growth' part is severely missing from the community or at least it was when I joined.

I thought I'd give my comment if someone is looking to join so you can get two sides of the story to make a more educated decision.

I and the majority of the members that year did not renew and lack of value and too high price according to the polls in the forums were the reason.
