The Rhode AI1 was better than I anticipated. I connected a Rhode Lanier mic to it and the quality of the recording was excellent. A very pleasing and surprising purchase and experience.

A great little device which I am using with the DJI Action 2 camera. But on this or any other device, you can't use stereo mics unless they are self powered. That apart, it's very handy.
