Stormrack Avis 

I’ve had multiple interactions with people from Stormrack, and honestly, there have been too many red flags for me to feel comfortable trusting them with my information or payment details.

Parts of their website appeared extremely similar to work used by other hosting companies. This isn’t just based on a vague resemblance either... The older versions can be viewed through the Wayback Machine and compared if needed. I also saw an image being used that looked remarkably similar to the identity of RocketNode’s COO, only with what appeared to be minor AI-generated changes. I obviously can’t prove exactly how it was created, but the similarity was concerning.

The owner also seems to change his Discord name and identity fairly often, while information about who actually operates the business is difficult to verify. Changing a Discord name alone doesn’t prove anything, but when it’s combined with everything else, it doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

I also couldn’t find an active LLC registration under the Stormrack name. They may operate under a different legal entity, but if that’s the case, it isn’t made clear to potential customers. When a company is taking payments and collecting customer information, I think people deserve to know who they’re actually doing business with.

There also appear to be associations with people whose behavior and reputation in this space have raised concerns. I’m not going to claim someone is automatically guilty because of who they associate with, but it added to the overall lack of trust for me.

I’m not saying that every one of these things proves fraud. I’m saying there are too many unanswered questions and concerning similarities for me to recommend taking the risk. Before purchasing anything, I’d strongly suggest verifying the legal business behind Stormrack, who is operating it, and how your billing and personal information will be handled, as it does not seem they're handling client information in a safe way at all, considering all these other factors. There are various other startups, big and small, that cover all legality and absolutely nothing here at this company is shown or said transparently.

I have serious concerns about StormRack and the identity of the person presenting himself as its CEO under the name “Donald S.”

I found what appears to be a disturbing use of another hosting executive’s photograph and likeness. The image being used for “Donald S.” appears to closely resemble a photograph presented to me as Austin Johnson, COO of Spark Hosting, but with significant alterations that give it the appearance of having been AI-generated or AI-edited.

I have screenshots/images documenting what I found, including the original-looking photograph and the altered image being presented under a different name.

In my opinion, a hosting company asking customers to trust it with their money, servers and data should be completely transparent about who actually owns and operates the business. Seeing what appears to be another person’s likeness used to represent a supposed executive under a different identity raises extremely serious trust concerns for me.

I would strongly encourage prospective customers to do their own due diligence and independently verify the identities and credentials of the people behind StormRack before purchasing services or providing personal information.

I would also welcome StormRack providing a clear, verifiable explanation for these images and the identity of “Donald S.”

Until that happens, I cannot recommend this company.
