StraightIn is an Excellent LinkedIn Content Management Partner

Our experience with working with StraightIn has been (and still is) pleasant and rewarding. We have worked with them for several years. While there were some hiccups in account management turnover, our dedicated account manager for the past year, Joe Brown, has been nothing but responsive...and truly dedicated. Even though we're in different time zones--with a 5 hour difference--Joe never misses the meetings we have scheduled, and brings his cheery attitude along with good ideas.

StraightIn helps us manage our LinkedIn content. Joe has been an excellent content writer, helping boost our visibility and provide our audience with useful and engaging material.

I've seen the negative reviews questioning whether they deserve 5-stars and whether or not the reviews are *real*. Yes, this is a REAL review and I'd recommend StraightIn (and Joe Brown) to anyone looking for a LinkedIn content management partner.

Great Partner Delivering Impressive Results

I've worked with Chelsea and Joe for about a year now, and have been so happy with what they've helped me achieve with my business. Gaining reach, establishing my thought leadership, and getting leads in Singapore.

They have been so helpful with their professional advice and strategy, while also always being open to try new strategies and experiment. When it comes to finding out what works, they leave no stone unturned.

Tom has been a great account manager for us. He is always happy to help and offer his expertise. We have weekly catch ups and are kept up to date on how we are perfoming.

Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Unresponsive

I’m genuinely disappointed with the experience I had. I approached this company with a significant partnership opportunity, as I was exploring options to outsource a large portion of my internal operations.

Initially, I was in contact with Rob, the Sales Director, who then introduced me to Zac, the founder. We had a call that went well, and I was told to expect a follow-up the following Thursday. That follow-up never came.

Since then, I’ve sent multiple emails all of which were read but ignored. I also reached out via their live chat and sent direct messages on LinkedIn. Still, no response. This wasn’t a minor enquiry it was a major opportunity for collaboration and growth. The complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy to respond is genuinely appalling.

For a company that claims to support growth and partnerships, their actions show the opposite. If this is how they handle potential partners, I dread to think how they treat paying clients.

Perhaps this review might finally get a response and a renewed respect for timelines, commitments, and communication. Because based on my experience, they’ve fallen far short of what any business partner should expect.

I did it, with Straightin! New Business Development Linkedin Outreach Program for My Business

The professional business development team for Straightin got my attention immediately, in a sea of cold contacts from LinkedIn. So they got the first meeting with me. I mean, I met them, I figure they might be able to get me set up with meetings too!

Once I met with them and was introduced to other real people who would care for my LinkedIn connections as much as I do, while I do my work, it helped me to get past my fear of someone else representing me on the most important platform for my profession.

I signed up for 12 months. I felt comfortable with them, and I knew that good things take consistency and patience. I was getting meetings right away and met with my account manager (and outreach manager) weekly while we got to know each other, developed my voice, fine-tuned my target audience, and more.

In 6 weeks, I was confidently hands-off.

By the second month, I was getting more meetings than I could handle (as a doer, owner, employer, and strategist - 4-5 a week was kicking my butt)!

By the last week of the third month, I got my first client for a 12-month agreement at twice my usual monthly retainer rate, and $30,000 more than I spent for the full 12-month agreement with Straightin! 3.5 X ROI :-)

I have had other projects and made some amazing contacts that have grown my referral network.

My Account Manager, Kailey, sends me reports every Monday, communicates each booked or curious lead ASAP, meets with me every two weeks, and prioritizes impromptu meetings based on my occasional need to pivot to a new audience.

If you have had "Network more" or "Start cold calling/emailing/DMing" or "Do more than WOM marketing" on your To-Do list for more than 1 year (I bet it's been many years;-), then this is perfect for you.

Straightin makes it easy. Trust them. Most sales outreach needs a minimum of 3 months of consistent effort to start closing deals. The first month is building the relationship with your Account Manager, getting to know the target audience possibilities, refining your message. Weeks 3 through 9 were a lot of me learning how to present my services, test presentation decks, and conduct discovery calls. After that, it was just consistency and subtle refinements.

Try it. If anything I said sounds familiar to you, then Straightin is for you.

It's more than Straightin, it's working with Niahda

Working with Niahda has been a highlight of my experience with StraightIn.

Not only do I consistently get calls booked and appointments set, but the real value has come from the way we collaborate. Every week, we drill down into who my ideal client really is, and we make thoughtful adjustments to the campaign when something isn’t landing.

I actually look forward to my calls with Niahda. She’s smart, grounded, and just a genuinely great person to think through things with.

To me, working with a company isn’t just about whether they deliver on what they promised (though StraightIn does). It’s also about the experience. And Niahda has absolutely made my experience one that I value, trust, and genuinely enjoy.

Working with Kailey and the StraightIn team has been such a great experience. From the very beginning, Kailey took the time to really understand what we were looking to accomplish and made sure our campaign was aligned with those goals. She’s sharp, thoughtful, and always on top of things.

One of the things I appreciate most is how consistent and reliable she is. I genuinely look forward to our weekly calls. She always shows up prepared with insights and ideas, and she makes it easy to talk through what’s working and what we can improve. She’s easy to work with, super responsive, and has such a positive attitude that makes the whole process feel smooth and collaborative.

Highly recommend Emily and Straightin

B2B is a slow grind if you don’t know what you're doing. I was coming at it from a B2C mindset, and that just wasn’t working. Emily from StraightIn stepped in and completely shifted how we approach LinkedIn for multiple clients.
She’s sharp. Helped us iterate messaging and targeting fast. Within a couple of weeks, we were getting 3x the leads we were getting before and at a super efficient cost per qualified lead.
If you’re serious about cracking LinkedIn outreach for high-value b2B conversions, talk to Emily and the Straightin team. Solid folks. Know their stuff. Also went out of their way to just help clients make their own linkedin profile look decent.

Didn't meet StraightIn's upfront goals

We worked with a writer in the UK for content writing, and our outreach person was in Chicago. Communication was fine, but I wish that the results had followed. StraightIn's stated goal of two meetings per week was not achieved. I think that two meetings per month may have been achieved a few times in the 6-month trial while the typical was one meeting or less.

Prospecting is hard, which is why I want to offload as much as possible; we were sold on the above goal, and while not for a lack of quality effort, the outcome fell short.

Our account manager was either fired or left StraightIn. This is on top of the salesperson leaving at the start of the journey. At the end of the 6 month commitment, we have had four different contact persons because of this. I have invested more time in meeting with StraightIn personnel than I have in meeting with prospective clients they have delivered. I had been under the impression they were going to go beyond the timeframe of the agreement to try and deliver the stated goals within the agreement, but that has turned into "no guarantees".

Overall, I can only conclude this has been a waste of resources over 6 months.
