swimsuit online order
- Early August: ordered a swimsuit using the online sizing app; which recommended a higher age range, yet the swimsuit turned out to be too small (cutting shoulder straps).
- Return button via website impossible (not operational), so contacted 'customer service' via email (no tel./chatbot available).
- Initially smooth communication: as requested ordered a new size, and returned other swimsuit (with Bpost 'track & trace', mid-August).
- Mid-September: still no refund received. Customer service claimed the package was sent to a wrong address, while the proof shows a correct address & delivery with signature.
- Late October/mid November: requested info/follow-up several times; no response or action received anymore.
- Mid November: sent a complaint mail on no-response and finally received an email with the confirmation that the swimsuit turned out to be 'lost': we were asked to call. Contacted Strawberry Secrets by phone, however, we were snapped off and referred back to email?
- Emailed back to Strawberry Secrets so to initiate (on our behalf) a lost-package file case, following feedback from Bpost. However, customer service first solely focused on ‘rectifying’ (?) our last complaint mail? In the end, received the required forms accompanied with a very unprofessional mail; again focussing on rectifying the complaint mail. Never have we experienced such an example of corporate gaslighting?
Conclusion:
This company excels in poor internal organization, communicates extremely unprofessional and shifts all responsibility to the customer: would not recommend & will gladly never order anything from Strawberry Secrets again.
