Stroud Brewery established in 2006, initially the brewery was a passion project for our founder Greg Pilley; an adventurer, environmentalist and beer lover. His purpose was simply to make great tasting beers for the local community whilst being the change he wanted to see in the business world. Today Stroud Brewery is a thriving enterprise and our tap room has become one of Stroud’s cherished local landmarks. We make great tasting, ethical and organic beer and we create welcoming, fun social spaces.

Beer to was very good
Beer to was very good, but unfortunately the screw tap wasn't fitted very well so came off in my hand when I was preparing my box which deposits several pints on the floor before I could flip it over right as my guests arrived so had a bit of hassle and clean up which was frustrating.

Delicious beers/ales with good choice…
Delicious beers/ales with good choice of styles to try. Delivery arrived very promptly and the beers came in handy on holiday (staycation for entertaining). Something for everyone, but the Tom Long got the top vote.

Last minute party beer request help
The staff member I spoke to (sorry! Can’t remember her name!) went above and beyond to help me. I needed a box of beer for a party last minute and although you’re meant to allow for plenty of notice she spoke to the wider team and managed to make it happen for me - I can’t thank her enough! It felt as though nothing was too much trouble and she was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you! (Also everyone loved the beer so I will definitely be coming back!)

Seamless experience!
I ordered beer in the bag for the weekend; and the experience couldn't have been better. It was simple to place the order, was kept informed through the whole process, and collection was a doddle. Then again, this is exactly what I've come to expect from the award winning Stroud Brewery. (Oh, and the beer was delicious; obviously).

Nice beer, too expensive
The Budding and OPA are lovely hoppy quaffable beers, but so are their competitors, at a much lower price.
