Despite problems initially this was a really great and incredibly useful MMI session.

The medicine live interview day was really helpful and is a great way to prepare for online interviews as the format is very similar to the real interview. There was a great range of questions and all the assessors gave great feedback and tips, as well as unique insights into medicine and how to achieve the top marks. They were all really enthusiastic and helpful. The format of doing each station in a pair was really helpful as you got to learn from each other and be exposed to more questions, as each of us would have a different question on the same topic. You get the chance to give and receive feedback from your fellow student as well as the examiner. Overall I would definitely recommend this circuit, and in particular medic mind tests you on some of the harder questions so is a great challenge.

The reviews really opened up areas that I need to focus on and helped understand any current NHS topics I need to read up on. This was so helpful as it really gave an idea of how it was. The tutors were really informative and in terms of explaining, they mentioned things I didn't even think of. I now know the things I can inprove on and things I could have mentioned.
Since its personalized feedback, it really suited and built on what I said.

Some classes tutoring voice volume is very low so it is impossible to hear.
Easy to sign up but impossible to cancel the subscription. The functionality in the online account doesn’t give the option to cancel and they don’t answer the emails or calls. Terrible service. Very unhappy customer and AVOID if you can!

For veterinary medicine: The MMI station was super useful especially because you were paired up with another student to do each station with (different questions each). This really helped because you can compare your answers with them and even get more ideas that you hadn’t thought of before. They also give you feedback, as well as the tutors themselves and this isn’t rushed which leaves a good few minutes to ask questions as well! I bought the package with 2 live days, 2 MMI stations and 6 hours of tutoring, as well as free videos and a handbook to help with interviews. One thing I will say is the live days and MMI stations for vet med are quite spread out, quite a few weeks apart rather than medicine and dentistry, so there aren’t a lot of opportunities to have the MMI stations quicker in the year. However the MMI stations are definitely worth it as i feel like i’ve really learned a lot! You’ll get the most out of it if you’ve got a bit of background reading done (hot topics, ethics) because then it will simulate the real interview! The tutors are vet students, which i believe does give a better insight into helping with interviews as they’ve done the interviews more recently.

I really enjoyed how interactive the sessions were and it gave a good representation of what an actual MMI interview will be like. Overall I think it was very comprehensive with good feedback as well.

I paid £1,349 for my daughter’s StudyMind Psychology Program, and it was extremely disappointing. The course was basic, disorganized, and offered no real help toward understanding psychology or building a future career.

There was no assessment, no feedback, and no sign of what she actually learned. As a parent, I paid for this program but got no communication, no updates, and no proof of quality — nothing that showed what my daughter was doing or achieving. Parents can easily be misled when there’s no transparency or accountability.

They hide behind their Terms and Conditions to justify the poor quality and refuse refunds, making excuses like “late reactions” or “attendance was logged” instead of addressing the real issues.

They now charge £1,799 and even £3,999, which is absurd for what’s basically a shallow, money-driven program. It felt like they care only about taking payment, not about delivering real educational value.

No structure. No career guidance. No respect. Avoid StudyMind.

I applied for a position with study mind not really knowing what to expect. After numerous phone calls, messages on WhatsApp and completing online training I thought i was set to wait for work, however I was told some weeks after first registering that i would have to subscribe to numerous websites to obtain worksheets to enable me to work. I emailed my contact to ask if this was correct and if it was i couldn’t afford to pay various subscriptions and why wasn’t I told this? Unfortunately i never got a response. I did however continue to receive numerous calls asking me to complete my registration, messages offering me work. After constant calls and messages I have now blocked this company. So disappointing

Out of date platform. UCAT section on the platform not adjusted to the new format. Very confusing resources. No performance review. The lessons are just delivered as a ticking box exercise and that was even with premium tutor. Very disappointed, it cost us to switch away from medicine application due to the lost of time in meaningless tutoring.

I received tutoring for A-Level Chemistry from June 2024-2025, with one hour of tutoring per week. During this time, my Chemistry grade increased from a C to an A, as a result of the tutoring and my own efforts. My tutor was incredibly supportive during this whole process, and was super understanding about changes or cancellations to our lessons. Cannot recommend them more!

Study Mind typically sends you at least several tutor profiles to look at before you do a free trial with one of them. The profiles include a video clip of the Tutor talking about themselves so you can get a good sense of what they're like. The tutors tend to have excellent academic backgrounds. You can switch tutors if you want. We had Zakir for my child for Maths. My child found him very helpful and effective and got A* in Maths A-level (as well as a confirmed place at Oxford!).
