Misleading Discounts and Poor Customer Service
I recently made my first purchase with Suits Direct, attracted by their 15% off discount code for new subscribers. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
The discount code failed to work during checkout, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, their customer service refused to honor the discount. Their justification was based on vague wording in the terms and conditions, which they claimed excluded my purchase.
However, the wording they cited was misleading and did not explicitly state the exclusions they claimed it did. As a first-time customer, I relied on the advertised discount and made my purchase based on that information.
This experience has left me feeling frustrated and misled. Suits Direct's lack of transparency and unwillingness to address the issue is unacceptable. It's clear they prioritize technicalities over customer satisfaction.
While their suits might be of decent quality, I cannot recommend Suits Direct due to their poor customer service and misleading discount practices.
Potential customers should be aware that advertised discounts may not be honored, and any issues may be met with resistance.
I urge Suits Direct to improve their communication and customer service practices. Until then, I advise shoppers to proceed with caution.
Very helpful staff
Very helpful staff, can't fault. Suits are very good quality and with fast delivery of sizes not in stock.
Very poor customer service
I ordered a suit on line. I signed up for a first-time purchase 15% discount. I filled in the boxes (including email address) and a reply informed me that the discount code would be sent to my email. This discount code has never arrived. I went ahead and made the purchase as there was only one jacket left in the size I wanted and I was worried that one member of our wedding party would not have a suit (my son who was walking me into the registry office, so ot was important that he had the correct suit. Said suit was sold out on other online websites). I emailed the customer service department to explain what had happened but was told that they would not apply a discount 'retrospectively'. What really annoyed me was the fact that within seconds of my purchase being completed, I received an email offering me 10% if I recommended a friend to the company. Proof that they did have my email address correctly inputed! Worse still, they sent me a discount code but told me that I could not use it as I had already completed my first purchase. This all appears to have been purposefully done. It would have saved me £70. I understand that I went ahead with the purchase but, how hard can it be for the company to refund 15% to my account. I will never buy with this company again and will avoid at all costs.
Cheshire Oaks Shop - amazing staff!
Husband bought a suit from the shop at Cheshire Oaks, the help we got from the staff was amazing, Jane in particular helped us and gave honest opinions when needed, the service really couldn’t be any better. Total five stars to everyone at the shop.
If I could give a negative rating...
I would give a negative rating is possible. Was told I couldnt return due to the fact the suit was 'worn'. I tried the suit on once, how else am I going to know if a suit fits?
Their sizing was massively off as well, I am a size 36 in all jeans/trousers/pants I own. I ordered a size 38 to be safe as this was for a funeral, they were way to small, probably more a 32/34.
Would not recommend this company at all.

Horrible return experience. Impossible to return your product by Evri. The. My refund hasn’t been paid. No one relies to my emails. I will never buy again here
Terrible company for returns
Terrible company for returns. If you don't keep the plastic wrapping and send it back with the wrapping on then they will say its been worn. Honestly the worst company for returns, they don't make anyrhing easy and they will just send your stuff straight back, then you have to wait 3 days until someone answers your question about why it's been sent back.
Poor management of stock
Ordered a suit and paid for next day delivery , the day after it was supposed to be dispatched and day before wedding i got an email saying was out of stock very poor service
Satisfied customer
Bought a pair of brogues online. Smart & good quality, and very nicely presented, with shoe horn and individual bags. Delivered in time frame.
Better to choose an alternative
Paid for next day delivery. Chased 4 days later. They responded saying they are out of stock!!! Then to top it off, said 'you should be refunded in 5 days, but if not, contact us'. When you contact them, they state they will respond in 5 working days. Terrible company - not what you expect from modern clothing companies
I’d look elsewhere for a suit.
Placed an order on July 18. Messaged them on August 13, as there was no update on my order to that point. You then told me you never processed my order and no longer have my size. I asked if there was any solution we could work out to match my wedding party. You avoided the question and just said you would send a refund. The next day received an email that my order was actually on its way. A week later on 8/20. Reached out to inquire if anything actually shipped. You said you had no record of anything being shipped. I replied with evidence of the email with the tracking number. I have yet to hear back from you all after that.
Based on my experience, it seems you all have no idea what is going on in your company. Can’t process orders. Can’t work with anyone to come up with a reasonable solution. No empathy when YOU make a mistake and put your customer in an unfortunate situation. You then make another mistake by telling me my order is shipped and say you have no idea what I am talking about when you are the ones who sent the email…
There seems to be a complete lack of organization as well as lack of problem solving. Highly dissatisfied with my experience and I can’t see ever ordering or recommending this service to anyone.
I was after a good suit for a wedding
I was after a good suit for a wedding. Aleah (Al) was excellent in helping me find the right thing, she was very knowledgeable and friendly going the extra mile. Not often you have service like this anymore!
Horrendous experience
Horrendous experience. After leaving my order on my doorstep and stating it was delivered, i came home to find the package missing. After a lengthy email exchange back and forwards and having made to jump through so many hoops to prove i didnt receive it. Even though i am not in the wrong here, i was then made to go and get a police crime reference number to confirm i didnt have the package. I have since got this ref number and done everything asked from me but now i am being completely ignored. My emails were responded to within a few hours and how i have sent 3 emails and heard no response. ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS. They took nearly £200 from me but dont want to help giving it back. Criminals
Drake Circus Plymouth Experience
Visited the Plymouth store and was helped by Martin, super friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Left with a lovely fitting suit for the occasion I required as well as my measurements for future purchases, all in under half an hour. Couldn't be happier with the experience.
Above and beyond service
We visited the Kingston store while in the area for the Hampton Court Flower Show. Received excellent service from Javad. He was most helpful in finding the right fit for my husband. The trousers, jacket length and sleeves needed shortening but we would not be able to return to collect after the alterations. We really loved the suit so Javad offered to post it to us. This he did in his own personal time and included the change from the money we left to pay for postage. I believe he went above and beyond in his service and I would highly recommend him and the Kingston store.
Avoid!
I returned a pair of trousers (ordered a bigger pair which I have paid for and kept) along with a tie in the same packaging. Only had refund for the tie, claiming that yet trousers weren’t returned! Claim they can’t find them in their warehouse, so I can’t have a credit! Won’t respond to emails.

Visited the Braehead store on Sunday, the female assistant was extremely helpful and attentive, she listened to what we were looking for and ensured we got the suit we wanted for my sons wedding in Las Vegas, will definitely return, first class service
