I'd been tracking Sidney Yates Johnson for a while before finding two 1904 oils on Sulis - "The Valley at Dusk" and "Highland Shepherd." Matched pair, same year, same dimensions, same swept gilt frames. They looked right together in the listing photos. In person they're considerably better.
