The best trip of my life - mainly thanks to the guides!!
My experience with Sundream Travels was amazing from start to finish! I was honestly in tears when it was time to leave because I was going to miss the new friends I made during the trip, especially our guides. Simen, one of the owners, was so easy to work with and really cares about his clients and making the most of the trip. He helped organize everything from my flight to Manila (which I booked separately, but he had great suggestions) to giving me awesome tips on places to visit once the trip was over, since I had a few extra days in the country. Plus, he’s great at taking photos, so I have lots of amazing memories captured!
The two local guides, Elay (who’s basically the real-life Moana) and Inna, went above and beyond to make this trip unforgettable. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but by the end, I didn’t want it to end. We danced, ate so much good food, went on boat excursions—just all the fun! They really helped me connect with the Philippines and its culture, and I completely fell in love with this beautiful country. Both of them have such positive, fun personalities that make you just want to be around them, and I’m so happy they were part of this trip! I’m already trying to come back and see them again soon.
As a travel agent myself, I’m super picky about my travel experiences, and I can honestly say I have nothing but great things to say about Sundream Travels. The trip was worth WAY more than what I paid, and I would gladly pay more to do it all over again. They pour back into the communities their tours visit, and you can tell how much they care about the people they work with. I’ll definitely be recommending them to others and can’t wait to travel with Sundream Travels again whenever I get the chance! Maybe Sri Lanka next??
