Really enjoyable experience, with great guest speakers, entertaining stories and very good to meet them. Charity auction items were impressive. Good atmosphere.
Found the seating cramped which made it a bit uncomfortable for the length of the event.

Initially I thought they’d had a bet on who could tell the longest story!!
Seriously though, they were great.
Really entertaining.

Great night with Duncan Ferguson. Well organised and overall a brilliant experience.

Hotel event manager was superb, Duncan himself so charismatic and the MC almost managed to keep pace with him! Great night out learning about more than just the hard man image of big Dunc

It was excellent to get up and personal with Duncan. He was really friendly and made everyone welcome.
I was a bit disappointed with the way the evening was run, ie, the timings were very confusing, the start time was stated as 6-6.30 but the guest speaker did not come on until nearer 8pm!. Also part 2 was supposed to be a Q &A session, but only 3 questions were asked. The Stand-Up and Silent Auctions were not particularly well announced as to where the money raised was going to, charities/Event Organizers or guest speaker etc. Overall it was an excellent evening to be close to one of mine and my wife's heroes. Thank you.

I bought a ticket for my Husband to meet his childhood hero - Duncan Ferguson.
He met Duncan and had a photo r as part of the package. He said he was friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there, taking his time to connect with everyone rather than just smiling and moving on.
He said the stories told were brilliant and the Duncan and the compare had a great rapport too.
There were silent auctions and raffles for collectibles and merchandise, however, this was optional and he didn’t feel pressured to partake.
Venue was the Mercure Hotel in Northampton, which was easy to get to and had ample, free parking.

Liverpool 1986 Legends night in Northampton, what a fantastic event. The whole experience was very organised, a little queue for the meet & greet, but dont expect everything to be instant. Superstar Speakers did not let us down.....
The interviewer was very funny (very much my sense of humour!) And then we came to the players; who were class from start to finish. Sammy Lee, Steve McMahon, Ronnie Whelan, Bruce Grobbelaar, Jan Molby and Mark Lawrenson spoke through their experiences, travels, funny stories and even some sentimental ones.
The security guards took their job very seriously throughout which did make me smile!
The Mecure Hotel and Superstar Speakers put on a great evening which entertained everyone of all ages. I can't wait to see another event like this again in Northampton. Anyone reading this and wondering if you should book up, My advice, dont hesitate and just get it booked. You wont regret it. YNWA

Excellent range of legend speakers with lots of humour, but poor communication of timings for silver ticket holders. I travelled from west London and was disadvantaged by the fact panel timings weren’t communicated at the point of advertising (and booking). Due to the promoted 6pm start time, I assumed the panel conversations would start before 8pm. It was only a couple of days before the event date I found out that talks would start at this time and there would be a lengthy 45 minute interval. I had to leave the event early. I understand no schedule would 100pc suit all attendees, just think it was accidentally misleading.

Update - contact from seller, saying that event started as advertised for silver holders. It didn’t as 6 - 8pm was only for gold ticket holders, who were deterred from arriving before 7pm.

I have changed to two stars as I didn’t find some of the communication from the seller appropriate following my initial review.

You helped fulfill my husbands childhood dream of meeting big dunc. I have never seen him so happy and excited! Like a kid at Christmas he loved every moment. He didn’t have a bad word to say about the event and will cherish the photo he got forever

I was absolutely blown away with Superstar Speakers Liverpool Legends Tour this week in Northampton. Honestly the staff could not do enough to make each of us feel welcome, valued and special. Even during the booking process, my queries were answered promptly and with individual care and genuine interest and what I wanted to achieve - no auto AI bots - I spoke to real people who cared! (FYI I booked late and the only seats left were not seated together and even though all tickets were SOLD OUT, the event organisers created 2 extra special seats for us st the side of the room (and actually near the front!) so that I could sit next to my husband to help celebrate his 60th birthday. I was even able to upgrade my tickets to platinum which was well worth it as my husband got to meet Steve McMahon, Bruce Grobbelaar, Sammy Lee, Ronnie Whelan, Jan Mølby and Mark Lawrenson! They all shook his hand, had a group photo and they signed some memorabilia that we brought from home. Bruce even was generous enough to record a personalised video clip for our 11 year old son. Superstar Speakers are a fantastic event organiser and are clearly well connected. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my husband (who has had a tough 3 years battling cancer) smile from ear to ear all evening. We shall definitely be returning !!!! YNWA

From start to finish I thoroughly enjoyed my evening, had a gold ticket, got to shake hands to each legend at photo, Bruce made my photo, but did not realise till after I collected, the stories where so funny, my only very small negative was the sound quality, got a little feedback, but did not spoil anything.

Absolutely fantastic night fun and frolics all night can’t fault anything .

I'm old enough to remember when Stuart Pearce first came to Nottingham Forest and he was my favourite player ever after. It was therefore a dream come true to join him for this 'Evening With' event and it was everything I hoped it would be. It was brilliantly run so all I had to think about was trying not to embarrass myself when I met the man himself. Stuart is incredibly funny and humble and I highly recommend you go and see him at his future events.

I saw Tony Adams at the Radlett Centre yesterday and was genuinely moved by the experience. From the moment he stepped on stage, he was completely engaging — standing throughout, speaking directly and openly, and connecting with the audience in a very real way.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really know who Tony Adams was before the evening — this was a present for my partner, who is a true Arsenal fan.

What struck me most was his humility. Despite his legendary status as an Arsenal and England footballer, he spoke honestly and without ego about his journey, including the demons he has battled along the way. Some of the stories he shared were clearly painful, yet he spoke about them with courage and openness, making his message all the more powerful.

Tony didn’t just talk about his past — he showed how he has used those experiences to help others. Hearing about the two charities he has set up to support people facing similar struggles was deeply inspiring and showed a real commitment to turning adversity into something positive.

This wasn’t a performance in the traditional sense; it felt like Tony was truly sharing his life and experiences with the audience. Honest, raw, and uplifting, it was an evening that stayed with me long after it ended.

Fantastic evening. Stuart is a very humble, grounded human being. He took time with everyone and was both informative and amusing with his stories and memories. Everything was very well organised. We had a really brilliant evening and the hotel was clean, welcoming, room lovely, breakfast first class.

A great night had by us both meeting Stuart Pearce in person after we followed him during his travels after his Forest days.. A night in London whilst going to a West Ham Game, similar up to Manchester City.. The stories he told proves what a very humble guy he is .
Excellent venue for our stay in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. You’ll always be a legend in our eyes

An evening with Stuart Pearce, and what an evening it was!!! Great stories and lots of laughs. What stood out for me the most was his enthusiasm, his morals, his passion and his loyalty towards his team mates and managers, and im sure the young boys in the audience will have benefited from this immensely, what an absolute gentleman!!! The venue was lovely and the staff were great

We had a fantastic evening and meeting Stuart Pearce was incredible.
The event was well organised.
The only negative was the long bar queues which stopped us getting refreshments during the intervals.
