Saw him on Instagram and started to follow, straight away i got some links with tips and advice, i kept thinking he’s gonna ask for some money soon but he didn’t
I have been on the links he sent and they are really helpful with good advice, easy to watch and understand
No waffling, straight to the point and relavent, he’s not trying to sell anything…still waiting for the catch 😂

I have been sent the resources free and have looked through a few of the videos so far which all contained sound advice. I don’t have the equipment at home for some of the exercises so I will have to adapt the plan but otherwise I’m looking forward to following the plan.

AT LAST - Genuine, Honest, Understanding, Empathetic, all round support dealing with health, weight, exercise, hydration, mindset etc to guide and help us to loose weight, increase our flexibility, health and outlook on ourselves and the wider World all in a Sustainable way!!!!
After scrolling through Social media daily and finding lots of posts offering the best solution on loosing weight, getting fitter, looking better - do this, buy this, download this - I came across Sustainable Change and something 'hit' so I posted a comment and almost immediately they came back to me asking about me, why I had contacted etc etc. Blind spots were mentioned and a call booked in.
Wondered what I had let myself in for, what they were going to sell me, was it for real and had I done the right thing.
By the end of that first call I was in - it just felt genuine.
I've been overweight for as long as I can remember - the only time I've been anywhere near 'skinny' was in my early 20s when I was smoking and drinking rather than eating or looking after myself!
I was brought up in a good home, great parents, flexible lifestyle, walking, sailing and camping for holidays - so always quite fit but always quite chunky.
I tried a few diets but nothing ever worked.
My career took off and I was travelling a couple of hours a day to and from work and then had the fortune to work internationally - living in hotels with a team, working extremely hard and letting our hair down at night to 'recover' ready for the next day.
The weight piled on! At my peak I was just under 21 stone, in size 24 clothes.
Eventually, I got this down to 15 stone following a well known Slimming plan, but by 2022 I was on the way back up and stayed around 16/17 stone for the next few years - but I was fit. I was walking my dogs daily and up mountains weekly, I was sailing, I wasn't eating unhealthily, I'd stopped smoking long ago but drinking was still on the agenda.
Early 2025 I started doing Strength Training and loved it - but I didn't seem to be getting much stronger. My instructor started talking to me about Protein which started me thinking but I still didn't understand why I wasn't I loosing weight?
In my early 60's I wanted to find something that meant I could understand more about what I eat and how to get fitter and loose weight to enable me to maintain the lifestyle and activities that I was loving for as long as I possibly could.
And that's when I saw the Facebook Post - so what is Sustainable Change - it's not just a diet, it's about what you eat, your workouts, your hydration, your mindset and all encompassing encouragement and support with your coaches and direct contact to 'like minded' people - think you're the only one, forget it, so many of us tell the same story of weight throughout our lives.
So = Feel the fear and do it anyway!
2 weeks in, 2kg down. Now heading towards my 12th week and on track to have lost 10kg!
Thinking of doing it - just do. You get all round support with daily Live Facebook meetings, your own personal coach who contacts you regularly and you can reach out to whenever you want, meal plans, zoom workshops on resistance and strength training, on mindfulness and mindset and a thousand reasons why 'all or nothing will only ever lead to nothing'.
My first call ended with - 'the only way to fail is to quit'. So true.

I reached out for some advise. Was honest with what I had tried in the past and that at the moment I couldn’t commit to a plan that would cost money.
I still received a reply, asked lots of questions and gave some amazing advice.
Also they sent me free support on their Facebook site, sent videos and advice and free mastery class.
Also checked in if I had managed to use the support and and make a start with feeling better in myself.
Lovely, kind people and made me think there are some genuine nice people out there.
I will defo be back when I’m ready to join the paid plan.

Lots of great information sent on asking for it.
I followed on Facebook.

I am only 4 weeks in and I have lost a lot of weight. But more than I am developing a new, sustainable approach to keeping the weight off. The App, the personal trainer and the live support are all invaluable in helping me make the changes I need to make. And I'm not hungry!!

I started the programme in early November 25 paying £2000 but quickly realised that the programme is oversold and that you don't get what you're told you will. Scarlet was my coach and is excellent (but very busy - I suspect she has too many people to coach) and I also enjoyed and benefitted from 2 sessions with Jane the mindset coach.
The app that you're provided with is cheap, clunky and difficult to use however, being able to log what I was eating helped me to keep track of protein, carbs, fat and calories. I also used the resistance training sessions on the app (there are basic errors in the AI sessions there too - that why I say it's cheap) and I watched motivational videos and significantly increased my steps every day and I lost weight.
Alex sells his programme by also mentioning his 'Lives' on FB Mon-Thurs but these are free to anyone and are marketing sessions that I found annoying. He does these to get new clients with promises of scholarships (factually and legally misleading as they cost £8,900) and pushy tactics to get peoples' phone numbers.
At the beginning of January 26 'Ruby' arranged a call for me with Eoghan and I wrongly believed that this was more support. This call was a 75 minutes long very pushy sales call where I was told that I needed to 'continue to learn' that I 'haven't got everything right yet' that I'll 'become overconfident' and that 'any weight loss, mobility etc doesn't last' (I have my written notes of this call). I was also told that I'm at risk of Diabetes, Dementia, Cancer, Stroke and Arthritis and that with their help, I could increase my life span by 15 years, a statement that should not be made. Then came the cost - £8,900 reduced by the £2,000 I'd already spent for another 25 months. I told Eoghan that I wasn't interested and that everything that he'd said had completely devalued what I'd already paid for - he'd made it very clear that 12 weeks isn't enough and that I needed to spend more money to lose any more weight.
A couple of weeks ago I discovered that the 3 exercise sessions a week on FB that I had been doing were being reduced to 1 per week, removing another benefit.
Roll on to yesterday - the app that is a part of the so called 'lifetime membership' and had everything that I used (and valued) on it, has been wiped so I can't see my weight loss history, the resistance training sessions etc. It's pretty useless now. I had a message saying that I could use the FB 'Inner Circle' page which is used by the members with little input from any of the team and is presumably free, and was also sent a link (with the wrong address) to a 'relapse prevention kit' which is simply a form you complete that allows Alex/his team to get feedback (for their marketing?).
My advice? Look further than Sustainable Change/The Sports Dietician. Save money and use AI and a good Personal Trainer/Coach to get the results you want. The My Fitness Pal app is great for logging food and I wish I'd used that instead as my history would be stored there.
Finally, I'm a Business Consultant who supports businesses with their structure, processes, values etc and I'm horrified to read some of the reviews on here. I know that many have been removed as I've been keeping an eye on Trustpilot for a while. I give reviews to support businesses and normally don't give negative reviews online but in this case and as I've read reviews from others who have been so badly treated, the negative feedback is necessary.
I was very up front about my weight loss telling said person what method of weight loss I was using. Then this morning to my horror I see on fb page him saying I am not being told the truth about it.
This is also marketed as free which it is not when you start discussing 1:1 sessions after getting lots in o off me I was then told they would need investment of £275.
Why not be clear about this from the beginning.
I said I could not afford this.
I was then told I would be given free access to fb page and which I already had and some other information. Then I was asked if I could give a good review. Which I initially said I would. After thinking over night I feel all I got out of this is giving someone far too much info about myself for nothing in return.
Lesson learned nothing is free in this world.
Even 60 seconds tonight to get this done would be a huge help.

I discovered this amazing free course via Facebook. Alex provides a foundation of resources to support you to begin and achieve your personal weight loss goals. The Monday-Thursday live chat at 7.30am via the community group is so positive, informative and supports how you start the day to help you succeed. I would definitely recommend this Free Course so if you are being ambivalent about joining go for it and just get it done

Joining SCP has transformed not just my body but also my mindset. My biggest wins with SCP are losing 14 kilos (so far), I'm stronger, healthier, more mobile, my energy levels are through the roof, my sleep is better. I'm no longer prediabetic, my sleep apnea has gone, my lymphedema is so under control you would think I didn't have it. My confidence is amazing, I'm more decisive, more consistent and I feel comfortable for the first time in years in my own skin and can actually enjoy looking at myself in the mirror. I love going for hikes now, I'm smashing it at the gym. I'm getting personal best after personal best. I'm doing back squats, deadlifts. I'm more flexible. I am loving life rather than just existing. I cannot say enough about SCP. You get a personal coach, personalised training programme, behavioural training, mindset coach and access to physiotherapy etc. The team is amazing and I love my coach Pete. He's always there to support and guide me every step of the way. But don't just tack my word for it SCP have a free Facebook group and there are lives every Morning 7.30 am Monday to Thursday with Alex Neilan the founder

Before I joined Sustainable change back in November 2024, I was on the waiting list for bariatric surgery and could barely walk upstairs in my own home. I was looking at stairlifts and wheelchairs and if I could afford them. I have been overweight my whole life, and although I had lost weight with different diets and groups over the years, it always just piled back on again. As a scientist, I was aware of the side effects and expense involved in getting injections, drugs I had tried and surgery. I really did not want to be eating eggcup sized meals for the rest of my life and with my weight, surgery complications were much higher. I was also very aware of scams, so took several months researching several weight loss programs, before finally deciding to try Alex Nielan and the Sustainable Change program. It made sense, given that I also needed support through a very difficult time in my life, just restoring my confidence and faith in people and generally feeling better about myself and my decisions.
This program has literally changed my life. I feel like me again, still on the program and determined to lose another 4 dress sizes this year. I can garden and go dancing and hiking, have taken part in charity events -walking, squats and endurance events, meet friends socially without being self conscious or wondering if the chair will collapse under me. I have overcome several stressful events, but getting my smile back, the joy and freedom of movement, energy and happiness each day is something I would not have believed I could achieve 15 months ago.
I am no longer pre-diabetic, morbidly obese, 18kg down, I can walk with a bounce in my step and planning hiking tours across Iceland, the UK and Europe, in my 60's. I feel happier, fitter and stronger, I am no longer afraid to face difficult challenges and cope with toxic people and situations. I trusted the process, followed the plans, asked all my questions, overcame my fears, through reading and gaining knowledge, I understood why I had not succeeded before, all with the support of the coaches, therapists, physio's nutritionists, mindset coaches, medical and financial experts and the thousands of other ladies, most of which are between 40-90 doing the same and cheering each other on.
If you are nervous about starting, as I was, and don't think you can do it, you can. Join the free support group first as many of us do for a month or two. This works because they find out why you are not losing weight and work with you until you find what works for you. The only thing holding yourself back is you or your fear of failing. Don't continue living as you are if you are unhappy. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself and if you don't try, you will stay as you are.
Take the first step, reach out and change your life, become you again.

I would like to recommend Alex and all the team at sustainablechange. Like most people I tried to do things by myself
and had varying successes and failures which have left me with little self confidence, or self respect. After an initial enquiry Alex got back to me with lots of very inspiring real people with real results and great advice - not the quick fix, scams of fake results. I very much want to join the group and benefit from the amazing group support and the huge wealth of knowledge, wisdom and personalised teachings. However, circumstances don't allow me just yet.... Alex didn't want me to go without some support till I can, so he has offered me access to a group support and lots of online training that I can use to direct me in a better direction. I cannot believe he has been so generous.. most other groups won't help unless you hand over your money but Alex has shown genuine interest in my plight and has offered a hand of support till I can join the group. If you are fed up of not getting the results you have been working so hard to get or keep sustainably. You can't go wrong by reaching out to Alex and the team... I know I will be back soon.l

It was a great pleasure to get in touch with Alex and his team. I received valuable advice and fantastic resources which included easy meals to prep! My weight situation did not enable me to join the full programme as I did not have enough kilos to loose, but still, Alex gave me some support, free resources for four weeks, and a real boost to my motivation, which is my biggest issue. I was given access to the community online, and discovered how supportive everybody is on this weight loss journey. The key word is "sustainable", and that is what makes the programme so different and achievable! So thank you again to Alex and his team. Keep up the good work!
