The heat pump has been brilliant so far. It’s quiet, efficient, and keeps the house at a nice even temperature. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

We replaced our old gas boiler and the difference is noticeable straight away. The heat pump feels more consistent and seems much more efficient to run.

After receiving a rather large bill for heating oil decided to look at an air source heat pump. Older 4 bed detached property with not the best insulation.
Contacted Swift and James came around to review. We had a comprehensive heat loss survey, measuring all rooms and existing radiators with insulation and recommendation for a heat pump. We qualified for the 7,500 government grant and was given a quote. We needed a new cylinder as well but knew this. There was no hard sell or annoying salesman patter (you have to sign today to get this deal etc!!). Had 2 other quotes from companies that did not even come around (one a known national company) that were more costly.
James handled the grant application so all we had to do was sign and approved.
The heat pump was fitted a couple of weeks later by Mason and his team. They are all employed by Swift and not ‘subbies’. Pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. Took 2 and a half days to fit heat pump outside and new cylinder and pipe work in. Existing old oil boiler was removed and water tank in loft disconnected and drained. They left the place clean.
Was a little concerned heat pump might be noisy as sits in courtyard garden but runs really quiet. Only been in 2 days but showers hot and powerful. Radiators on this morning and house is comfortable. The system comes with a 10 year warranty
Best of all we have future proofed the heating and hot water for our house. We fitted solar panels 6 months ago also.
Swift were excellent and just 17 days from phone call to installation. Recommended

I dealt directly with Tristan and James mainly, and unfortunately the experience has been extremely poor and extremely expensive.

The system installed has never worked properly. Since installation, we have had ongoing pressure loss, meaning the system constantly needs topping up. Over the winter we were left without reliable heating at times while Swift failed to attend or resolve the issue.

More recently, the situation has gone the other way — the underfloor heating is now uncontrollable and regularly overheats the property to around 26°C, with no functioning thermostat control. Hot water performance is also inconsistent and often not sufficient to run a proper bath.

A Daikin engineer attended and confirmed the unit itself is operating as expected, pointing to issues within the system installation. Despite this, Swift have refused to take responsibility or properly investigate.

Instead, they have attempted to pass additional costs onto us, including misrepresenting a quotation as an invoice.

Communication has been extremely poor throughout. Calls are not returned, messages are ignored, and even direct contact with Tristan has not resulted in any meaningful action.

We had a newborn in the house over winter dealing with a system that didn’t heat properly, and now have a one-year-old living in a property that overheats uncontrollably.

I would strongly advise others to avoid.

I have no difficulty in providing and "outstanding" review for the installation of my heat pump by Swift Heating Solutions. The professionalism provided started with initial phone call, then the site survey, and then right through to the final installation. Overall, it has been totally outstanding.

Not only were all the people involved (James, Georgia, Mason, Ryan and Drew) very polite, very informative and most helpful. Whilst working at my house, the service they provided was of the highest level.

All the waste materials were removed and the house was left in a clean condition. Obviously, they are people who believe their work should be of the highest standard.

Air source heat pump installed - project isn’t finished yet as we need to get the underfloor heating installed but based on the last few days having the engineers from both electrical and mechanical on site I really can’t fault them, here every day on the dot never stopped working, clean and tidy, very polite. Real testament to Swift.
The whole process with Swift has been faultless, and extremely well managed.

Excellent, seamless installation carried out by a highly professional team.

Having a heat pump installed was, unavoidably, a sometimewhat intrusive experience. It took three days. But the installers - Mason, Ryan, and electrician JJ - were cheerful, hard-working, friendly, and tidy, cleaning up at the end of the day. A pleasure to have around.

It's too soon for me to report back on how well the system works, but I have been very happy with the installation.

The installation was neat and tidy and the engineers were great to deal with. They took the time to make sure everything was set up properly and showed us how the system works.

The house is now nice and warm and the hot water has been excellent. Really pleased we chose Swift.

had a heat pump installed in september andhad some minor gripes and issues originally as realised they basically use subbies to carry out works which made me feel uneasy . original commisioning not satisfactory and had to tweak the cylinder temp myself as wouldnt carry out disenfection cycle and also had to badger to get the rubbish removed from my shared drive. just think the after sales is shocking ive had a leak from pipework installed that has damaged my floor and ceiling . told james a couple of weeks ago , sent pictures etc , they would get someone round , never heard anything . phoned office number at least 5 times , arranged for a plumber to come round on a saturday morning who never turned up , phoned office again , she was very apologetic but they would sort and have heard nothing since . messaged james who is now just ignoring me . have raised a complaint with NAPIT and will contact insurance compny and claim for damges . aftersales is non existant and ive now given up with them entirely and they also promised a power flush to system which they also failed to do . seems to be a mixed bag from the reviews but i wish id used another company as my dealings with them have been shoddy to say the least

The team from Swift heating solutions that installed my Heating pump system. We’re very helpful, pleasant and polite. They’re an absolute credit to their team. Nothing was too much trouble if I had questions they were happy to help and discuss and explain. They cleaned up every day. Even my French bulldog Frankie took a shine to one of them and followed him around everywhere. I would go for us to say if anyone ask me about having the heat pump system installed i would recommend Swift Heating Solutions. I would recommend the team of guys they installed mine.
Also any time I rang the office, they were always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team

I received a well detailed and comprehensive quotation and after various discussions accepted their quotation. The response was very prompt and the installation arranged for work to be carried out within three weeks provided I could arrange for construction of a concrete base for the heat pump in the time. I was kept informed of each days work and the complete installation was carried out in two and half days. The tradesmen involved were very competent, polite and helpful at all times and completed the work very efficiently and tidily with no fuss or cause for me to be concerned.

You would not find any contact from me as I did not make any. Among the last words from your installer before leaving was 'The boiler is now covered by the Worcester-Bosch warranty, any problems dont contact Swift, contact them'.

After multiple companies attempting to sell us an Air Source Heat Pump without answering our lots of questions, wanting paying for quoting; it was refreshing to discuss at length (over an hour on the phone) with James who dealt with loaded questions. A site visit and survey by Dean, again answering questions openly. Design and very competitive quote received promptly. Installation undertaken by Mason and Ryan with the clever sparky stuff where they work with things that can't be seen done by Drew. The week prior to the traditional industry Christmas shut down. Unfortunately on our return from a trip away for New Year the heat pump had failed. Tristan answered our request for assistance immediately, despite being overseas on holiday. Ryan, Darren & Tristan visited site, dragged the manufacturer technical rep to determine the fault despite an office bod not being customer centric. New pump delivered and fitted by Darren & Drew. Swift did us proud, the manufacturer less so. Atypical big company attitude of not supporting private individuals who are the actual end customers. They should do better to create an end to end seamless experience as Joe Public is encouraged to adopt relatively new technology to meet the needs of the environment. Thankfully Swift have a can do, positive attitude that got our system working. Thinking of getting an ASHP, you won't do wrong using Swift.

They installed our heat pump and were brilliant from start to finish. They really took the time to understand what I needed and made sure the solution was the right fit, not just a standard install. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, they went above and beyond and always found a solution when something came up.

Even though they say they’re based in Poole, don’t let that put you off. They were happy to travel and it didn’t affect the service at all. I’m extremely grateful for all their help and would be more than happy to recommend them. Friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with throughout.
