Always very quick response to any issues and in this current climate I was grateful that I was with switch as when my gas and electric provider went out of business I didn’t have to worry what I was going to do switched ensured I had a new provider and also did all the work changing me over

I wanted this to be really good although all switchd are interested in is telling you how many cups of coffee you can buy with your energy bill savings. For some reason this takes priority over what I would see as the more important information I want to know about from my energy broker.
They do not take the pain out of switching, on the contrary, they add a layer of complexity and with the exception of identifying a cheaper provider you still end up doing all the leg work.
My time spent pulling my hair out with Switchd exceeds the benefit of the number of cups of coffee they tell me I can now afford!

Switchd have been amazing during the energy crisis. Proactively shared information on what was happening, amazing customer service and I’m still on the best energy deal! Could not recommend enough!

Switchd have saved me hundreds of pounds over the last couple of years and I trust them to help navigate these "interesting" times with suppliers going bust and prices rising etc.

Got caught up in the backlashof the huge trade gap in gas prices and Avro went bust. Given an account by the government with Octopus and heard nothing since. Not being very savvy with all of the tech am unable to decide if I made the right decision.

Very good at finding the best deals to save money and also useful how you can adjust your dashboard to suit your requirements. Have knocked one star off as being a lite customer can only contact by e-mail which is fine except at times they do not read your e-mail properly and send a reply either not answering your question or not doing what you requested. As a rule do not have to contact so not too much of a problem

I have been sent e-mails which were totally wrong, given wrong information, been told that if I was with another provider I would have saved more money and been charged a DD three times for the same month by three different suppliers. This is a very poor service. On the positive side, I have been paying a competitive price.

Great business. Really simple to use product. Since I first signed up several years ago I’ve not given my energy provider a single thought, as I know that Switchd has everything under control. Customer service has been very responsive on the 1 occasion I needed to contact them (re a complicated house move).

I was informed the company they put me with was Green when they went under they moved me to Octopus and to send them my last meter readings, I did . Then 3 days later they moved me to another company but being 74 I didn’t understand the actions they asked me to do
I have sent over 10 emails that have only been answered by automated reply
I cannot find a telephone number for help and suffering with illness I am finding it very upsetting

I was with a large energy company but as Switchd was backed by my bank Nationwide I decided to trust them and switch energy supplier.
It turns out that the checks run by Switchd on energy providers does not include financial due diligence on whether they gamble on the price of gas / electricity by not hedging their exposure to fluctuating wholesale prices.
As a result of this, my new energy supplier Green Energy has gone bust and I am now going to have to pay a lot more than if I had stayed on my old energy company’s fixed tariff.
The company has also had the cheek to debit my account with 6 months membership fee for the privilege and have not refunded it despite me cancelling my account.

Unique idea to keep searching for better deal without spending time. Set the preferences and get going. It switched to cheaper deals automatically three times saving about 120£ in 12 months.

I've been with switchd a few months now, and gotta give credit where credit is due. Switchd are taking this whole energy crisis in their stride.
I joined in May and they switched me to green. Was quick and easy.
On the 21st of September, Switchd emailed me to say that a number of energy suppliers have gone bust, and it is likely more will follow. They explained what would happen if my supplier did go bust, that my electricity supply would continue, and that all I should do is take a meter reading.
On the 22nd of September, Switchd emailed me to say that my supplier had gone bust, reiterated the above, reminding me to take a meter reading and that there's nothing else I need to do.
On the 23rd September, today, Green Energy contacted me to let me know they'd gone bust.
Well done switchd for how you're handling this. Smooth :)

Basically I joined this service in January, everything was ok for a while and then they switched my energy supplier (say they didn’t and that it was an erroneous transfer). So I got charged a huge early exit fee by Green who I actually would’ve stayed with as a supplier to then call up switchd who said it should take up to 6 weeks this was early June! Then email after email from them saying they were struggling to get hold of Green and would keep trying - this is with me chasing for an update.
Then I called this afternoon, was told that I should call both energy suppliers MYSELF and they were sorry I had not been told that at the start!! What the hell is this service for then??!?? Easier switching myself! AVOID I will not stop complaining until I get all my money back

My first switch was to a company that has ceased trading the day before I was switched… never the less the company managed to take £184 from my bank account the morning of the switch. What’s more my previous supplier will not refund me the £284 credit I am owed until the new company validates the meter reading. I am £400 out of pocket and the only thing SwitchD have said is that it’s not their fault… they do however acknowledged that they were made aware the day before my switch??? Why weren’t customers given the heads up. As soon as I move to a new company I want out of this farce! I have managed independently every year to secure the best tariff with minimal issue. I am rather alarmed at the amount of feedback below about it being extremely difficult to break free of this company! I look forward to their tone death response suggesting that they are blameless!
