I don't mean to be harsh, I was just disappointed in the quality of this product. Having so many huge name customers, I was sure spending the extra $80 on this chair compared to the similar ones on the market would be an investment into quality. However, when the package arrived there were no instructions as to how to build it (even if it was relatively straight forward) which frustrated me as it would've been nice to know I was on the right track from the beginning instead of spending the extra 30mins scratching my head wondering if I was about to break it.

The aluminum frame seems strong but is filled with what seems like chip board - I assume for more strength? - but upon opening the packaging, the bag and product were absolutely covered with little wood shavings which from the start made me a little annoyed...

Once I finally got the product together and started to take it back down, I quickly realised that the paint would scratch EXTREMELY easily should any part of the chair slide against itself, kinda defeating the purpose of a portable chair?

The foot rest also seems flimsy being attached with a bolt that doesn't seem to tighten properly without my fearing I'll strip the screw. Also, on this note, once the chair is folded up, you need to take care that the foot rest won't fall down and smack you in the ankles (trust me, I learnt from experience) as there is no way I can see to properly secure it.

The fabric however seems strong and easy to clean so thank you Tallblackchair for supplying that.

All in all, I am really disappointed at the quality of this product. If I had to purchase again, I would definitely go for the cheaper options I have seen as this chair seems more suited for stationary work whether it be in a salon/showroom/studio etc. Bare that in mind if you are a travelling makeup artist! I have friends with cheaper, more durable chairs than this one and I feel really sad that I chose this one over ones like theirs.
