Tanyard Barn Avis 

Just back from a fabulous weekend. Everything was perfect from the hot tub to our dog loving the enclosed field. Thanks so much and we will definitely be returning.

Me and my partner had the best two night stay at the Tanyard barn. Helen has thought of literally everything you could possibly need/want in the barn. The setting is stunning and inside is spotless.

Had a great 2 night stay for my partners birthday, the place was spotless and on arrival we were met with birthday decor and a bottle of Prosecco and sweet treats.
There was everything you could possibly need for the stay.
Approx 8min walk away from a few pubs serving food.

Had the most wonderful two night stay here for my birthday. Helen and Dennis were perfect hosts, the place was spotless and on arrival we were met with birthday decor, a bottle of Prosecco and sweet treats. We walked through the door to the sound of relaxing music playing which was such a nice touch. The surroundings are so peaceful and an evening spent in the hot tub watching the sun set was very relaxing. 10/10….. an absolute hidden gem! Thank you so much x

We stayed at Tanyard Barn the couple of nights after our wedding and Helen and Dennis went above and beyond with extras to make our stay so special.

The property is beautiful and so well done out, you feel like you've got your own little haven of luxury! Our dog loved chilling in the dog field and the hot tub is brilliant.

When we arrived at Tanyard Barn, we were greeted with a personalised welcome of sweet treats and drinks. Helen and Dennis went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed including toiletries and even face masks for that extra touch. The location was perfect, quiet, peaceful and at the foot of the trails. The hot tub was very relaxing and was ready on arrival and cleaned every morning. The barn was very clean and homely. Highly recommend to anyone and we look forward to going back!

Just returned from a fantastic two night stay at Tanyard Barn. Helen & Dennis have made a beautiful setting for a break. They were on hand with any questions. The cottage was filled with the little touches, and all the essentials you would need.
The cottage itself is set in a perfect location for hiking up the hills of the Peak District but also a great village with lots of food & drink establishments.

Just got home from a gorgeous 2 night stay at Tanyard barn.. we were greeted with a lovely welcome of bubbles and baked goods, a warm and ready hot tub and the most serene environment to walk into and forget the world.. cannot recommend this place enough and the owners can’t do enough to help you! Will 1 million percent be staying again.. the best anniversary trip away! thank you!♥️

This is our second stay at Tanyard Barn and we loved it just as much as the first time. Spotlessly clean. The extra little things supplied make it even more special. Perfect location with lovely walks and views. We will be arranging to visit again soon.

It’s the little extras and thoughtful touches that can make a stay memorable. Not only did we find the accomodation very comfortable and very clean, there were some lovely extras.
A personalised welcome msg including our dogs names! Some treats (for us and the dogs) and fresh flowers. We made use of the (m&s) pastries, fresh bread, condiments and drinks in the fridge. The hot tub was fantastic to relax in and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Part of the draw was having a good size private and enclosed dog field for our two Boxers who need to have a good run.
The trip lived up to previous reviews, we will be back.

Everything about this place is perfection. We booked a getaway for my dogs birthday and the location, facilities and attention to detail was above and beyond.
The hosts are so thoughtful with all the little details and we cannot wait to stay again.

Helen & Dennis are the perfect hosts. We stayed over New Years and arrived with a gift of Prosecco & New Years decorations.

Helen was always available if needed and made sure the hot tub was perfect each morning.

The place is beautiful inside and out and we will definitely be coming back for more! Couldn’t recommend enough to family and friends!

Absolutely amazing time away at Tanyard Barn!
I would highly recommend this to any couple wanting to escape for a few days.

Helen and Dennis were outstanding hosts and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

We stayed over for Christmas and woke up to Christmas stockings and presents for the dogs at the front door. How it was managed without our dogs even barking still amazes me to this day. It was like real life Santa.

Could not fault this lovely little place!

We stayed for 2 nights with our little dog, and had such a lovely time. This little barn is gorgeous, I really appreciated the attention to deal, it was my birthday and Helen & Dennis made it perfect for us. Hot tub and Woodburner is a luxurious extra which is much appreciated when you’ve been for a long wet walk in the gorgeous countryside - lots of lovely walks nearby, the town which is only a short 5 minute walk has several pubs. Checked out the cafe, Shepley’s which the hosts suggested and was lovely too.
Really nice that you’re not far from their home, but you are facing the other way which is nice for some privacy, you didn’t feel overlooked.

The setting for this barn was amazing as were the hosts .. we only met Helen but nothing was a bother.. she messaged to make sure everything was ok .. this place is pure luxury and all the extras made is extra special. The hot tub was a god send we left feeling totally recharged. Great secure field for the dog. Thankyou Helen and Dennis we will be back

Absolutely stunning property with stunning surroundings. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after our wedding as a "mini moon" and it could not have been more perfect. Peaceful, romantic and scenic. The hot tub and terrace area gave a holiday feel, with all of the home comforts within the property. We stayed with our 2 dogs and the place was perfect for them. Helen could not have been more helpful, and having told her it was our mini moon, she went above and beyond to make it even more special, with a bottle of bubbles, and just married/Mr and Mrs decor around the place. Her communication was fantastic before, throughout and after our stay, with some great recommendations of the local area. We would highly recommend Tanyard Barn and will definitely be looking to return again in the future!

An absolute gem of a place in the most spectacular location. Helen and Dennis could not be better hosts - there is everything you could need in the barn, plus many more extras! The area is stunning we spent our weekend exploring the local hikes and pubs, followed by evenings on the terrace in the hot tub. Could really not recommend this place enough.
