I just happened to run across the Gem Cutting Website on U Tube and watch it for a few months. I was fascinated with the business idea and then emailed a request and Alice returned with a phone call. We talked and between her and Steve they picked out two oval cut tanzanite gems that were to my required specs. Alice asked great questions on what I was envisioning as earrings. I shot her photos of ideas and she ran with a couple of them and we both tweaked them to the finish line. When I received the finished product I was over the moon! They were exactly how we had planned them to be. The workmanship from the designer to final product was flawless. Alice told me "we are a picky bunch here!" and I agree, but I would debate with her that I may be just a little more picky when it come to quality workmanship. They passed my test and I had so much fun designing these earrings with Alice that I have given her another bucket list item for earrings. I am totally confident that when we find the gems that are needed for these earrings, they will be just as STUNNING as the Tanzanite one's that I just received. Thank you Alice and Team - I love working with people who are honest and love what they do.

Everything about our experience was great. We spent days looking over specimens and finally decided to buy one. We were reluctant because we're in Canada and sometimes cross-border shipping can be a hassle. Also, we've had some issues in the past buying items online and them not being quite as described. The stone we purchased in this case was EXACTLY as described and pictured. There was no photoshopping the colour or vibrancy and no exaggeration of the size. We joked that FedEx said it would take a couple days for the specimen to arrive and that it must be an automated estimate not knowing that we were in Canada. Nope. 2 days later we were siging for our purchase. It was packaged and boxed and wrapped and boxed. No risk was taken that it would be damaged in transit. Item was 100% exactly as pictured and described, it was shipped super fast, it was meticulously packaged. We have nothing but positive things to say about the Moriarty websites. 200% recommended. 10 out of 5 stars. Will definitely buy again.

The Tanzanite stone I purchased for my wife was even more stunning in person than even the online pictures depicted. She loved it. She also loved the idea that she could shop for just the right mount for that stone so it would result in the perfect ring.
