Bad at Math? TTP GMAT Course Prep Helps with That!
TTP's learning modules did a great job of teaching or refreshing math topics that are covered in Quant, especially for someone who hasn't taken a math class in over 4+ years. The Data Sufficiency questions were a new type of question format that takes some time to understand/get used to, but TTP does a great job of breaking that down. As someone who does better with Literature-style questions, the Verbal prep helped me learn new testing strategies, too. The large question banks also lets you get practice in, and the live Q&A chats with real experts helps clarify any questions/solutions you don't understand. The TTP team also is great at responding to customer requests in general and checks in with your progress/needs.
625 to 735 in 2 weeks
I was somewhat disappointed with my first attempt at the GMAT where I scored a 625, with my Quant section score being the lowest at 79 (50th percentile). I decided to reattempt as soon as possible and purchased Target Test Prep's Flexible Study plan to drill down on my Quant skills.
Their material on each Quant topic, and all their mental strategies for better preparing myself for the test day really did the trick. I was able to improve my Quant and DI scores dramatically and went from 625 to 735 on the second attempt.
I would highly recommend Target Test Prep's content, especially for those who are aiming to improve on their quant and DI scores like me.
Systematic, Comprehensive, and Crystal Clear
GRE requires a different skillset to succeed than your standard college math courses. While one may be comfortable writing proofs in real analysis, the GRE is based on pattern recognition under time pressure. I tried GregMat before using TTP, however it didn't cover the foundations in great detail and it was not rigorous enough. After discovering TTP, I committed myself to the quant section only. The schedule builder was great and it kept me committed while working a full-time job and taking graduate level courses at a nearby university. Despite this big workload, TTP kept me organized and I finished the quant section within 5 months. For test day prep, TTP's evidence based psychology tips helped me to shape my mindset for succeeding the exam. My target score was getting a 165Q and above. With TTP, I managed to score a 165 on the quantitative section.
TargetTestPrep gave me all the…
TargetTestPrep gave me all the quantitative tools to be in the 90+ percentile in quant and data insight.
TTP is detailed
TTP is detailed, easy to follow very well structured. It is by far the best GRE prep material I have used, on my journey to a 320.
TTP Guarantees and Delivers on its Promise of High Test Scores
The Target Test Prep OnDemand program stands out for its depth, structure, and overall effectiveness. The Quant and Data Insights sections are especially strong, offering in-depth explanations supported by a wide range of worked examples that walk through problems step by step. The combination of thorough review questions, clear written explanations, and detailed video walkthroughs leaves very little room for confusion and makes even complex concepts approachable. The platform itself is intuitive and easy to navigate, and it does an excellent job of tracking progress over time, allowing users to quickly identify strengths and areas that need improvement. One area where the program could be improved is the Verbal section, which has noticeably less practice material compared to Quant and Data Insights. Expanding the number of Verbal practice questions would help balance the curriculum and further strengthen the overall offering. Despite this, the program was the most effective test preparation resource I’ve used, and the structured approach and high-quality explanations played a major role in helping me achieve a 725 overall score, including a perfect 90 in Quant. I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive, well-designed, and results-driven test prep solution.
I used Target Test Prep for about 4.5…
I used Target Test Prep for about 4.5 months while preparing for the GRE, and honestly, the platform delivered way more value than I expected. Across Quant and Verbal, there are 4,500+ questions split between examples and tests, and it’s obvious the team has obsessed over every detail of the student experience.
The standout feature for me was the Analytics portal. It broke down everything: section-wise accuracy, chapter-wise performance, time per correct answer, time per incorrect answer. Basically, it showed me exactly where I was improving and where I needed to get my act together. That data-driven feedback loop kept me growing consistently as I moved through the course.
Working full-time six days a week, the TTP’s Mission Mode saved me. Instead of stressing about hitting 100% completion in one shot, I focused on doing at least, more or less, 1% every day. Watching that progress bar inch forward became surprisingly motivating.
Long story short, thanks to TTP, I gained direction, discipline, and momentum required for my GRE preparation. I walked out of my first GRE attempt with a 321 (Q168, V153). In retrospect, the only thing I’d change is using their vocab flashcards earlier something that I discovered embarrassingly late, just two weeks before test day.
I scored a 164 (18 IR 15 VR 11 QR) on the EA
I scored a 164 (18 IR 15 VR 11 QR) on the executive assessment with the help of Target Test Prep and the GMAC Official Prep materials. I started studying in May 2025 exclusively using TTP. At the start of my prep I was scoring in the mid 150s with mixed bag results. I found the adaptive feature of the TTP calendar/roadmap feature to be very helpful with structuring my study time. I spent about 6-8 hours each week studying mostly in the evenings. I followed the scope and sequence outlined on the platform and took my time to read the guides, watch the videos, practice the questions, reset the questions, and practice them again. I took a break in July and resumed studying again in September mostly focusing on integrated reasoning and quantitative reasoning practices sets. Once I felt comfortable, I switched over to the official practice premium collection, first completing the practice sets and then doing each assessment twice. I spent about three weeks on the GMAC platform studying about 8-10 hours each week. When I took the test in October, I felt nervous but prepared. I was able to pace myself well but because I did so well in the IR section the rest of the test felt very hard. If I could do anything differently, I would allocate even more time studying the section on TTP that addressed probability! Overall, I'm glad I took the time to study and invested in the TTP course and GMAC materials as it certainly paid off.
The most effective Quant prep on the market
I initially prepared using the Official GMAT Guides for about three months, doing a large volume of questions. My first mock score was 605, and my first official GMAT score was 615. At that point, I knew that Quant was my main weakness because I lacked structure and some specific strategies that I couldn't learn by just doing questions. After switching to Target Test Prep, my preparation completely changed. The platform helped me identify a clear study plan and methodically fix weaknesses instead of practicing blindly. After around one month using TTP, I retook the GMAT Focus and scored 745. What TTP does exceptionnally well is that it provides the clear structure needed to solve many questions in a systematic fashion, where many strategies especially in the Quant section will save you a lot of time on exam day. If Quant is holding you back and you’re looking for a serious, results-driven preparation tool, TTP is absolutely worth it.
Supportive at Every Step
I think TTP really nails every step of the process. From having a thorough program, to topic-specific online courses, to admissions consultants to practice questions, I always felt like I had a resource to draw on and even proactively work ahead with. I achieved my score goal and then some. I also had some tough experiences at the test center to say the least and TTP helped me work through those even so I could focus on the content come test day. Thank you TTP!
TPP Flexible Course
Overall, I think if you’re preparing for the GMAT on your own, there couldn’t be a better resource. It strikes the ideal balance between depth and breadth, without adding unnecessary complexity or concepts that won’t appear on the actual test. The platform challenges you just the right amount while offering the flexibility to revisit questions, design your own practice modules, and simulate realistic test scenarios. I especially appreciated how thoughtfully it’s structured to support different learning styles, making it easy to focus on weaknesses or build comprehensive skills. That combination of balance, flexibility, and relevance makes it truly exceptional.
eased the app process
with all the competing / parallel priorities in the app process, it was super nice to have a program that did all the logistical work for you. It tells you exactly what you need to know and breaks it into a specific timeline to follow which saved me from a long mental and logistical process. did not see anything on the test sections I used TTP for that TTP did not cover.
GMAT From multiple heartbreaks to 705 in FE
GMAT is designed in a way to punish shortcuts and gimmicks. TTP course and materials are long and tiresome. This course really demands a lot of time, attention and effort from you. This doesn't provide any shortcut. Chapters are long with lengthy exercise. But this is what you are need if you are looking for a big jump in score or want to score in high percentiles. It's very methodical. Builds layers and layers of foundation on top of one after another. And Scott is really excellent to help with your exam/ prep anxiety. TTP helped me score a 100th percentile in Quant and 97th percentile in DI.
I spent nearly £1000 on this
I spent nearly £1000 on this, and unfortunately it seemed that the predicted hours to complete as well as the carry over to actual exam scores are false. Not a good experience.
TTP = Best Quant Prep
TTP is the most comprehensive Quant prep out there. Combine that with the bi-weekly classes (recommend Ceilidh) and you are sure to be in a great spot come test day.
I have 10 years experience in Finance, but many of the Quant subjects I had not touched since late elementary school or HS. TTP got me back up to speed *quickly*.
Verbal and RC prep is also quality, but I spent very little time here.
Scored a 655 on my first live test (about 100 point improvement) and decided to call it there since I was applying to EMBA programs and that was beyond sufficient.
Flexible and effective curriculum with really useful AI features for new questions
- Straightforward Verbal Concepts and AI generated questions during the lessons to keep the content fresh even while revising the questions
- Flexibility to access Quant and DI Chapter Tests to access simplified & optimized methods of solving questions
- Customer Tests to work on specific concepts and speed for those types of questions
- Quant Flashcard with a comprehensive summary of all concepts that was ready reckoner before final attempt
I started my GMAT Focus prep in April 2024 using the Flexible Prep program of TTP aiming to give the exam in September 2024. I completed the complete study map for Verbal and it's helped debunk certain shortcuts I was using to solve verbal CR questions. I already felt confident in Quant so I solved the Chapter Tests directly. It's then that I realized I had to learn many concepts and question types that were still my weaknesses when it came down to solving questions in Quant within time. Few techniques in quant like the highest power of a number x that can be found in the number N!, the content TTP was so simplified and helpful that it helped my Quant score jump from a Q85 to Q90 level in a sustainable way and gave an extra boost of confidence when a few tricky questions came my way even on the final exam day, because I knew the best and most optimized technique through TTP. There were topics of overlapping set, permutation combination and probability too, that got much more simplified for me after going through the method used for solving questions in Quant Chapter Tests. I hit a personal roadblock in 2024 and had to pause my prep and started my prep again in April 2025. My verbal scores were not consistent in the official mocks I was giving then and I was trying to gain confidence only by solving questions on a daily basis. I then gave two attempts in Jul '25 (645) and Aug '25 (665) and I felt I underperformed in verbal based on what i expected of myself. I took up the Flexible Prep for 1 month and just went through all the basic lessons for Verbal again without trying to solve many questions and just focusing on the basic concepts. Their AI feature helped generate new practice questions with a tougher difficulty level, testing similar questions during the chapters and that gave me an added confidence while going through a chapter that I was able to get internalize the concepts better. I finally scored V85 which was pretty satisfying. Another feature I leveraged on TTP were the custom tests. I faced issues of speed in DI and certain question types in Quant. Eg. TPA verbal heavy type of questions in DI and Overlapping set questions in quant. The custom tests in TTP helped me prepare a customized question set and I kept a stringent time for each question aiming to balance my speed and accuracy. These custom tests of 5-10 questions per test really helped me unlock speed with accuracy in DI and quant, really propelling my score from Q84 in my first attempt to Q90 and DI80 to DI 82 on my final attempt. The Flexible prep part really helped to revise the concepts of Verbal after I resumed from a long break, and their Quant quick flashcards were my go-to document before my final attempt.
Target Test Prep for the Win
What I liked most about Target Test Prep is that it’s self-paced but never feels isolating. You can go through the modules on your own time, but they’re surprisingly hands-on for a program that’s basically DIY. They check in, answer questions quickly, and you can tell there are real humans behind the platform who actually want you to do well. It made the whole process feel way less overwhelming.
And for someone like me, who has pretty intense testing anxiety, that support mattered a lot. I took my GRE at a test center in NYC, and having already worked through so many practice problems with TTP (and knowing I could reach out if I got stuck) made a huge difference in feeling grounded going in. It really is the best combo of flexibility and support I’ve found.
TTP is amazing for quant on GMAT
TTP improved my quant by a lot. Jeffrey was especially great at helping me identify why I was struggling on the real exam but not the mocks. If you need to improve your quant for the GMAT definitely recommend!
Target Test Prep - Absolutely worth the investment
Target Test Prep provided an amazing platform me to prepare for the GRE. What stood out for me the most, was that the course was always focused on teaching you the key concepts from first principles in each topic, as opposed to short-cuts and tricks. The GRE tests your ability to reason, covering the content from first principles always ensures that you develop the tools required to solve any question that the test will throw at you.
Full Endorsement of TTP
I had tried 2 prior test prep companies and was seeing zero or very limited improvement. It wasn't until using TTP that I was able to achieve an acceptable score for the school I was trying to get into.
