Unhelpful, No communication, Lying
Almost three months ago I got their concept card becuase I was traveling with long layovers and their concept cards supoosedly givse you free access to the lounges. I took this card specifically for this reason, at Gokcen airport the people at the entrance confirmed that entry was free, however later when I cheked my balance all entries took money from my account. TBC various consultants, have been incrediblly unhelpful, first blaming VISA and trying to get a comment from VISA for 2 months, one of the consultants even told me to "not belive everyone I meet" claiming that the turkish airport staff lied to me and I shouldn't have trusted them. Whats more important is that in the end it turns out that you need to spend a certain amount of money before you can use the free lounge multiple times, in another case you get one entry. 1. the consultant I got the card from DID NOT inform me about this. when asked if I can use the card for free entry she said yes, without mentioning any restrictions. 2. they took money from my account for all 3 entries, I didnt even get 1 free entry. 3. After talking to another consultant about this, she confiremd that its inside TBC problem and that she would call me back in maximum three days and inform me about the decision. well it's been more than 2 weeks and nobody has called, and when I try to talk to someone they just repeat what they said in the FIRST WEEK of this problem.

The worst bank I've ever dealt with. Ridiculuos inteface, not being able to access my account (cause you need another app for that and it's not working). The support is totally useless. Avoid at all costs.
Concept with personal banker is useless
Not the worst bank in Georgia but their much touted Concept is a complete waste of money. You are supposed to have a "personal banker", but they take time to write back, send voice messages vs. typing, and seem to be always in "meetings". They can't do anything beyond what a regular clerk can do, and even worse - call center calls on most occasions offer better savings rates, for example. The only thing going for it that some things can be done by email, but they take time. Changed 3 personal bankers and finally downgraded to a lower tier. Such a waste of time and money.
Account opening
I stayed in Georgia for 2 weeks for treatment by a surgeon. I wanted to open an account at TBS Bank, I came to find out about opening an account, they told me what documents I needed to provide, but they didn't tell me that opening takes 5 days. I came to the bank 3 days before my flight, they accepted all my documents, took 50 GEL for opening an account and then told me that it would take 5 days. But they also told me to come back in 2 days. I came back in 2 days, but they told me that the account wasn't opened, they wouldn't return the 50 GEL. This is just extortion from clients for services not provided.
ATM swallowed my card and I didn't get my card back
Only one interaction with this bank and it's actually a disgrace...I am not. a TBC client, I have an EU bank account , I needed some dollars cash, I insert my card in one their ATMs outside a branch,and literally I got my card swallowed for no reason at all!!!
Immediately I tried to get in the branch to ask help but they were up to close and a guy from the staff, smoking at the entrance, told me"it's not our problem,call the support"!!!what?!! ...I called my bank to block my card then immediately I called the TBC support to explain the situation,gave all my data and the agent told me to wait 3 business then I will receive a call in order to collect my card at the branch...no updates after 3 days , I called Back again the support, they only told me they started the research,since they found the atm ( i gave them all the Infos about card, place in order to speed up ), they told me" we re going to call you once the card is ready to pickup " .I reminded to the person at the phone , 3 business days are already gone and no clear Infos about ..." We need 7 business days" she replied...are you serious?...in the meantime noone call me back from TBC to update me, no physical card for days,no chance to withdraw cash...today I decided to call again the support , they still didnt give any infos about where my card is, when I can pick it up...all this mess only because of their bad organization, never happened in my life an ATM swallowing my card like that!I used to withdraw money in many countries and by different banks ATMs!! Never happened!only From TBC, It's a true shame! Today was literally enough, I had to order a new card from my bank, reporting the swallowed one as stolen...cause this is actually the situation according with TBC behaviour retaining my card pointless. ...50€ to issue a new platinum card from my bank + express international delivery to Tbilisi and days to wait...who pays for this? Time wasted and uncomfortable situation...who? Thank you TBC bank , such an horrible support, very shallow and messy organization, shameful and primitive technology in 2025 ,disgusting humans and professional and only in one disgraced interaction, thank you TBC!!! I contacted the bank's support because I couldn't log into my internet banking account on my new device. The support team advised me to call the bank by phone and change my password.
Seriously? Not reset the password or provide online assistance, but call by phone! Is this some kind of joke?
In 24 hours of messaging, they only responded twice! Despite the fact that I'm a premium Concept card user. The same story with my personal concierge. Doesn't respond to messages, forgets about previously discussed arrangements.

TBC Bank blocked my money and didn't notify me.
I have been working with TBC Bank since 2017. In 2024, they closed my account without informing me. They blocked my money in it. When I asked to get the money back, they first said it was not possible. I asked them why and complained to the Georgian Banking Supervisory Authority, whereupon they told me that I could get my money “at the branch” within 24 hours. I am abroad and how can I come and get my money within 24 hours?
I definitely do not recommend it. I have seen many trustpilot complaints about this. Turns out they do the same thing to everyone. You can't block people's money like this. It's unethical. After my complaint to the authority, they said they would send my money once and I got rid of them. One morning you may wake up and they may have blocked your money. Be careful.

TBC Bank is a solid choice for banking in Georgia.. Probably the best if you are a foreigner here. They have an English speaking customer service, which is a lifesaver. :)
Regarding the services, they are doing excellent. Just one thing is a bit annoying, to make a payment you always need the OTP code sent to your gerogina mobile number…

TBC Bank is absolutely terrible. Their service is discriminatory, especially based on nationality and place of birth. The customer service is beyond unacceptable. I submitted my documents for verification, following all the required procedures, yet a bank employee deliberately deleted my email with the attached document—simply because they did not "trust" it. This is despite the fact that the email had a clear subject line and included an official contract file.
How can such an institution claim to uphold EU standards when it operates with such blatant disregard for professionalism and fairness? This level of incompetence and discrimination has no place in a modern banking system.

Worst bank ever; when you leave Georgia, they close your account, even if you have money in it.
I've worked with TBC since 2012, and when I asked why they blocked my account in October 2024, they replied there was no reason. During this time, I received my tuition fee that I had paid for my studies in Germany; however, I was not taken, thus the money had to be returned to the same account from which I had sent it, my TBC account. Rather than returning the money, they blocked my account.
It has been three months since they blocked my account for no reason, and they have refused to repay my money of 11,208 Euros.
Clearly, they want to take this money for themselves.
Their customer service is extremely terrible, rude, and unprofessional. Unarguably the worst banking institution ever.
