Very prompt on time all clean n tidy good job.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Telford Towbars.
I was originally booked in to have my towbar fitted on 19th December 2025. On arrival, I was told the towbar was incorrect, despite having already paid the full amount upfront. I was then told it would be fitted on 23rd December, but only after I had to chase them myself. I was then informed that the towbar hadn’t even arrived.
I was left without a towbar over Christmas one I had already paid for and after calling again on 5th January 2026, I was still told it hadn’t arrived, with no timeframe or solution provided.
The lack of communication throughout was unacceptable. I constantly had to chase for updates, and at no point did it feel like customer care was a priority. No compensation was offered, despite the fact I drove 150 miles each way to their unit.
Overall, very poor professionalism, poor communication, and an experience that felt like they simply didn’t care. I would not recommend.

Was initially very pleased with the fitting of the tow bar to my 2024 VW T6.1 a couple of months ago but a recent inspection revealed that a couple of the undercarriage guards are missing. Suffice to say no one knows anything about it & they must’ve been missing beforehand ( they weren’t as myself & an ex mechanic friend of mine looked under the vehicle before I booked it in for fitting while considering fitting it ourselves & the missing parts were most certainly there then although I have no evidence of this. Can’t help but wonder if I’d have checked at the time of fitting they might’ve been found & I wouldn’t be having to replace them at my expense ..😔 I would still recommend but I would suggest you check your vehicle before ( & take pictures) and after..

I ordered a Witter 3 bike cycle rack in July. When it arrived the packaging was damaged, and when opened there were pieces of broken plastic inside. I reported this and sent photographs, It transpired that they were from one of the cycle wheel bases. This means that it can only carry two bikes safely and not 3. Since lodging my complaint I have had no response at all (similar to other reviewers) despite elevating these to the M.D.

Many thanks to Glen who came to install the towbar on my i4 BMW. Timely, great communicator and did a neat and tidy job working diligently in some warm conditions.
Tow bar looks great and invisible when detached. All functions working as expected.

Web site was easy to use to select bar and fitting was just 1 week later.

Not a good company to do business with. Had a detachable towbar fitted. It took nearly 6 hours to partially fit. Apparently, i wasn't told that there had been 'issues'.Towball did not fit.Bodywork fixings missing after refit. Had to chase company for replacement. Many telephone calls. Many emails. They do not reply to any of them. Terrible customer service. There are better towbar installers out there. In future, I will go elsewhere.

Purchased a 2022 Skoda Karoq direct from Skoda. It wasn’t tow bar prepped so was a little nervous about how a towbar would affect the safety features on the car. Skoda recommended Telford Towbars to me, even though I’m based in Liverpool. So glad we took the leap of faith & had it fitted. Absolutely fantastic service from Glen at Telford Towbars. Totally put my mind at ease & end result was superb. Thank you so much. Now I’ve got no excuse to not go cycling 🙈🙈

I am rating my experience having wasted my time researching their website and waiting for numerous call backs on numerous times of trying.

They advertise as Nationwide. They are not. Clearly other people have said this too which they have ignored. Very annoying

I almost always check Trustpilot before buying online, but there were no reviews for these guys 😕
No worries though - the service was just perfect, as was the Yeti wiring kit (VW19513M), the subject of this review. It was very well made, to the point it absolutely wasn't out of place against the factory wiring loom. The fitting instructions only scored a 6/10 on a good day though, but a call to the very helpful Lee in the tech team filled in the blanks.
Well done guys, I'm very happy to recommend and use again 👍👍👍
