The Hearing Care Partnership - Banbury Avis 23

Over the years, I have consulted various different audiologists in England, the EU and the USA, and although I have encountered some people during this time, nobody has come close to the level of care offered by Mark Connell at the Banbury branch of The Healing Care Partnership. His professionalism is outstanding, as is the way in which he looks after every detail, explaining every step along the way with tact and attention to detail. He makes full use of the technologies at his command, showing the patient the meaning of various data and images. In my case, the result of all this has been a dramatic improvement to my hearing, with new hearing aids that eclipse by far anything I have had before. Finally: the after-sales service is equally good. Thank you, Mark!

Mark Connell at the Banbury branch is absolutely amazing! I’m so grateful for the way he has helped my 80-year-old mum with her hearing. She’d previously had hearing aids fitted elsewhere but, despite going back several times, she was still struggling. We tracked Mark down (as Mum used to see him years ago before he moved to Banbury), and I’m so glad we did.

Mark was incredibly patient, attentive, and really took the time to understand her needs. The difference has been life-changing. Mum’s hearing and confidence have been completely transformed. She has her natural speaking voice back (she used to shout without realising), and she no longer tries to “guess” conversations or feels left out. She’s more engaged than ever and no longer feels isolated by her deafness.

She can now hear her male voice choir (all 70 of them!) clearly, and she’s able to enjoy proper phone calls with her nephew 200 miles away—something she couldn’t do before.

Honestly, the only problem now is we have to watch what we say when her back is turned—her hearing is so sharp! 🤣

I went with my husband to get new hearing aids. As he had been wearing them for a number of years I didn’t expect such a great service! His previous experience didn’t come close to this new experience. The technology is first class and everything can be seen on a large screen which makes it easier to understand! Mark was very patient and informative. He explained everything not only to my husband but me too! My husband is so happy with his new aids and the wonderful service he has received. We can’t ring Marks praises enough.

Visit to the Banbury branch today for I thought a wax removal.
After a complete ear check by both of the very nice gentleman discovered I need a hearing aid.
I cant highlight enough the professional caring service the 2 men gave me .
I'm truly grateful and will be in touch Monday to order the hearing aid.

Have been coming to this branch for 7 years now.
Mark (and Tony) is absolutely brilliant.
His hearing assessments are extremely comprehensive and I really feel that my hearing aids have been set up perfectly.
He is easy to contact and his aftercare superb.

It was the first time I needed the ear consultant's help. THCP at Banbury made it super-easy and convenient, as well as affordable. Nice, easy-to-find location and a parking nearby.Great experience overall.

Very thorough tests and explanation of what's possible with hearing aids. Really informative! Made the prospect of hearing aids less scary and more positive.

Nabeel was very patient and very kind with my dad. He did various very thorough hearing exams on him. Along the way he explained everything very clearly and answered all my dad's questions. He helped him choose the hearing aids that were perfect for his level of hearing loss. The result has been life changing. My dad can now hear us and participate in group conversations and he can have telephone conversations too. We are very happy and thankful.

Tony and Nabeel at Banbury, are friendly and put me at ease before my treatment ,they talked me through the whole process.

My experience with the Hearing Care Partnership was excellent. I went to my local branch in Banbury and saw Jamie the audiologist. He was fantastic. He was extremely thorough, explained exactly what he was doing, showed images of the ear to help me know what was happening and put my mind at ease.

I had to go back for a couple of appointments, and Jamie checked my ears at a later stage to ensure everything was fine. He was very helpful and friendly, and if I ever have any ear problems again, I wouldn’t go anywhere else or to anyone else other than Jamie at the hearing care partnership.

Such a quick and pain free procedure! Jamie who carried out the removal was absolutely brilliant, very easy to talk to and explained everything that was being done. Had a blocked ear for over a week and 10 mins later perfectly clear! Thank you Jamie, you are a real asset to the team! :)

I had two appointments at the Banbury facility, I was very pleased with the attention to detail with explaining the process and the thorough way that the treatment and testing was completed. It felt personal and tailored and i came way better educated around hearing methods and solutions that would benefit me. Emily at Banbury was clearly very customer orientated and passionate about her profession.

If I could give no stars I would after a very bad experience !!! After suddenly going deaf in my left ear just before we went abroad on holiday I was left to suffer an additional 2 weeks of deafness, debilitation, disorientation and anxiety after having 2 unsuccessful micro suction wax removal appointments one each week locally, one at Dronfield in Derbyshire and a subsequent one at Woodseats in Sheffield , it would have been even longer to suffer had I not broken down in tears of desperation and contacted an alternative practitioner whilst still in the Woodseats venue. Kirsten at The Hearing Centre in Chesterfield sorted me out in less than 5 minutes!!!! with water irrigation and for a lower cost. There were other negative issues with the service and appointments but I wanted to focus on the actual procedure. Dont waste your time and just go to a qualified Audiologist with a choice of procedure's.

I was seen at the hearing centre a few weeks ago for wax removal with Megan Woodruff. Everything about the appointment was really in depth, she looked after me really well and even took some videos of the removal to show my mum (as we both enjoy watching wax removal on TikTok)!

Saw Megan the other day for wax removal and hearing assessment. I have to say I was blown away. The amount of care, attention, and knowledge was incredible. She was such a star, a very strong and intelligent young lady, and she dealt with my typical 'im a bloke i dont want to deal with this' excuse very well!
So rarely you find a healthcare professional with such genuine care and kindness, not only that but we had a fantastic chat. As a person who lives alone I really enjoyed coming to see her.
To anyone deciding whether or not to take an interest in their hearing, do it. Ive added my hearing test just as I would a dentist and eye appointment, which is how it should be. And the hearing care partnership is the place to go.
