I bought a 3doodler for my son for Christmas. It broke after two uses. No replacement sent and no refund given. Automated reply each time. Do not buy it breaks easily and the service is terrible.

It is a good product
It is a good product. My daughter loves creating 3D things out of it. I have given 3 star because the plastic cords at times gets jam and doesn’t move. It is not even a year since we purchased and the rear end got detached.

I purchased 3Doodler for my nephew's…
I purchased 3Doodler for my nephew's Christmas and Birthday
present. By the time it was his birthday, I learned more about 3Doodler.
I purchased directly from 3Doodler then. My first order was from Michael's craft store. He really likes this.
Also, I like this very much because it is something other than electronics.

My 10 year old son loves his 3Doodler
My 10 year old son loves his 3Doodler. He has good hand eye coordination and is a prolific artist in pencil and pen. So he was able to take transform some of his 2D designs into fantastic 3D objects.

It's great overall.
I use the START pen. It's great overall.
Only problem is when there is an inch or so of the filament left. It is too short to reverse out.
You end up wasting the last bit in order to change colors.

As an additional information, as a proven trick, to prevent waste of filament, to change color/filament you need to stop the filament flow (one click), reverse it (double click), pull out the old color/filament, and then put in the new.
If it’s too short (you can't pull the filament anymore) we can suggest for you to find an area in your creation that needs additional layering as so not to waste the short filament entirely.

To give you a bit of information, you can expect a minimal sound of a motor, this is fairly normal whilst the pen is extruding the filament. However, if you think that the sound you are hearing is not what it should be, we are happy to take a look at it and remedy the situation as soon as possible.

broke on the same day. a piece of plastic is stuck inside, i cant get it out.

they contacted me, and although i almost broke the pen, while trying to fix it, the sent me a new one.
even that the warranty was void!!!

I use 3Doodler for a 6 month
I use 3Doodler for a 6 month.
Minuses: 3 times I came in Service center with warranty repair. It was awful. I still didn't understand why I can't use usual plastic from a 3d printer with 3.5 diameters. Because of 3Doodlers plastic really expensive =(
Pluses: With 3Doodler Create V2 I created a lot of wonderful things and was happy to use it =) This pen very comfortable and useful. They have a biggest tutorials base and awesome kits =)
Also, the company has a great support team - very friendly and professional.

3Doodler create pen review
The pen works well. What stops me from giving it a five star rating is the fact that the gear in the pen eventually stopped working. I was able to get a replacement but the problem happened with that one as well. I have had four replacements all together. The last one has been working wonderfully. The service and care the company shows toward its customers is outstanding. It's clear these people want to make a great product and it really shows.

It is one of my favorite crafts and the fact that u can do it anywhere is just great for me. I have the start, the 3doodler and the pro and I love them all. I got the power puff girl kit and I made a ppg of my sister and I added magnets so I could change her outfits. She thought it was great and it just bright back the memories of when we were kids and would make power puff girls out of the iron beeds. I just got a little heat craft fan and I can’t wait to experiment with it and the 3doodler and see what I can make next.

Quality counts, and 3Doodler has it
I got my first 3D pen in 2014 and it wasn't a 3Doodler. After multiple blockages, breakages, I decided this was not the product for me. Fortunately my aunt got me the new 3Doodler Create when it came out in 2016, and I have never looked back. What's crystal clear to me is that quality is key when it comes to 3D pens. And provided the quality is high, your creative potential with these exciting devices will have no limits. I'm not going to lie, there has been a bump on the road here and there, but the 3Doodler customer service team has been there every time, with great advice and help to keep me doodlling. Again, a mark of the quality of 3Doodler and the importance of buying right.
I frequently use my pen for repairs, to make artistic creations as gifts, and am now experimenting with wearable that I can use day to day.

Post Secondary Tactile Math Tool-Blind Students Success
The doodler pen "Create" has worked good for a short amount of time and then tends to "slow down" or lose its power after repetitive use. I am on my third pen which is use to create math tactiles for a blind student. I tried to purchase the "Pro" version but it was out of stock when my last pen died and I needed a new pen ordered asap as the work I do with accessibility in a post secondary is time sensitive. It also gets really really hot on the tip so be careful if using it for extended periods. All in all-It is a great tool and has helped this student achieve success in pre-calculus level math courses.
