Took our lab to the beach and he swam like a maniac. Tracker handled water fine. Rinsed it off and it kept going. That was a big tick for us.

Sometimes there’s a small delay in updates. Not often, but it happens. Accuracy is generally very good though. Would like slightly longer battery life.

Good accuracy. App generally stable.

This thing is built like a tank. Survived a full wash cycle still working perfectly.

It’s not cheap once you factor in the subscription. That said, the GPS accuracy has been solid and the waterproofing held up at the beach. You pay for peace of mind I guess.

Do not buy this product! It never worked in the GPS mode. And, when I sent an email before the subscription renewal date telling them I wanted to cancel the $100 yearly subscription they charged me anyway! Then it took several emails and over six weeks for them to finally refund my money.

I had a problem I simply couldn’t solve. One email to AirBolt support and it was fixed!

I ordered a pack of three airbolts one was faulty straight out of the box. I was promised a replacement when v2 was released. I have pursued this for way more than 6 months and still am being fobbed off. I was told my order could not be found, so I sent a copy of the original order, the date, the email stating I would receive a replacement, etc. I was passed to another team to address. I have never had a proactive response. I have chased and chased with no positive outcome. I like the product s (that do work) but cannot recommend them due to complete failure of customer service and poor product quality.

My camera equipment shifts between studios, so I keep a tracker in my main kit bag. It’s given me a lot of peace of mind knowing I can quickly confirm where it ended up after shoots.

I wasn’t sure if the AirBolt GPS could handle being attached to my surfboard bag, so I messaged customer service. They actually tested a similar setup and got back to me with real tips it felt like talking to someone who understood adventure gear, not a script.

I mean really? where can you find a piece of plastic with blinking LEDs and a little gold colored loop tie a string for you to only look at in perplexed wonderment? Answer isAirbolt and to date, AirBolt is just stinky airPoop. Oh, and the little item you traded money for is only to show you what a real working product may look like. They possibly may even ask you to join them and pretend that it works great, that is if you get to speak to anyone. Hay Air-Wont lets pretend you give me my money and waisted time back. You are the Roblocks of real world economy. You are to the tech world what Call of Duty is to real solders. .
I've learned that companies that over saturate the web (search engines) with their advertisements are basically swamping the search engines so no other reference to them can make it in the search results. the reason they do this is because all other references to them is about how pathetically unaccomplished dropouts they decided to be. Seriously though, these folks must work for comic relief cause ALL they are selling is jokes. So go ahead and pony up your money, give them those card numbers if you enjoy testing your sanity or love being fooled. Hey Airdont you silly rabbit, tricks are for kids. I must admit They know how to trick people then magically disappear.

*****UPDATE*****
So someone name Hello at airbolt reached out to me to help with their product. I told all details of what issues was having. Didn't hear back from them but both devices have been working flawlessly since. Hadn't had any issue for several days now. Hopefully all has miraculously healed and we can track stuff like we want.

Absolutely one of my worst crowd funding experiences. It took them ages to ship the initial unit, which, by the way, never worked. To their credit, after repeated requests for support, they shipped me another one that was supposedly Gen 2, which never worked either.

All this would have been manageable had their support been any good. First they just responded late, a week or a month, and then eventually completely stopped responding when I asked for a refund on my subscription. They originally claimed they would provide the refund if I couldn't get my device to work in the Middle East. Believe it or not the same email thread lasted over two years from July, 2023 to October, 2025 when I finally gave up on trying to get my refund.

It's just a crappy device with crappy coverage that costs a lot of money. I just wasted both the subscription and the device cost, but I wish I had not wasted my time and energy on trying to make this work or get my money back.

They were quick to solve my issue and excellent with communication, a great company to purchase from!

The marketing emails sound great, but after reading all the reviews I will wait to purchase until it has more than 80% positive reviews. Also, I thought it was a tracking device, not locking device. Couldn’t find info about TSA requirements for the USA when checking a bag. Need some videos or more info on the sales pitch site. Also, last reviews May 2025, 6 months ago. Sounds like the company may be having growing pains.

I prepaid in May 2025 for an AirBolt that was promised to ship in June. It never arrived. Despite multiple refund requests, they refuse to return my money. This company takes payments, delivers nothing, and ignores customers.
