Theatretrain Avis 

My 12 year old daughter has been attending Theatre Train at St Mary Redlffe School in Bristol for several years now and it remains one of her biggest passions. She looks forward to every Saturday and it has given her tremendous confidence and a great love of theatre. Sue and the staff are amazing and work so hard doing what they clearly love. A performance of Matilda at the Redgrave Theatre and the incredible show at the Royal Albert Hall are moments we will never forget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you send your children to a Theatre Train session!

My son James attended 2 special workshops by Theatretrain Kings Lynn, Disney and Matilda. He really enjoyed both days,even though he was nervous about going. Kate and the team are so professional and they make the day so much fun. James made new friends and learned new acting skills too! Thank you so much for this opportunity to experience Theatretrain.

Our daughter loves Theatretrain and attends a weekly session. It was fantastic to see this summer workshop, we didn’t hesitate to book and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed it.

Omg my son has only be going to the Brighton group since January this year,(2026) it its absoutley awesome,the staff are so friendly,kind,the passion they show in teaching my son and all the children is outstanding,my son has done 2 school shows and has taken gcse drama but since he has been his confidence has grown so so much more,they really do help them to come out their comfort zone,its really nice to see,the little shows they put are awesome and the yearly show they done well im lost for words at how superb that was,i would highly recommend this company

My daughter just came back from a summer workshop - Matilda the Musical - and she was super excited about the whole experience, had tons of fun and told me all about it! We are on the waiting list to join the term time classes and she can't wait to get a space now!

As a parent (and TA) I also found the booking process, pre-workshop info emails, and the organised drop-off and pick-up very professional and I had no qualms about leaving my daughter there for the day.

From the moment she went to her taster session 6 months ago, our daughter has loved going to Bristol Theatretrain. She always comes out absolutely buzzing from each session. The staff have been really welcoming, friendly and supportive and in her view "if you need help, they will give you the best advice".

We have seen her confidence grow and her dancing, acting and singing skills develop. She was thrilled to receive a reward which recognised all the hard work she has put in each week but most importantly she has so much fun. We can't wait to see her perform on stage in the upcoming show. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bristol Theatretrain.

End of year productions never disappoint at TT Reading, but this year hit new heights - the cast were incredible and the commitment to the show, each other and Tiff shone through!

My 9 year old daughter absolutely loves Theatretrain Brentwood, it is the highlight of her week! She has learned so much, gained lots of confidence and skills and made great friends. She has been given amazing opportunities to perform, even playing the lead in Annie, something none of us will ever forget!

A huge thank you to Tiffany and the entire team, they are absolutely brilliant! The amount of time, energy, and dedication they put into the children is truly incredible, and it shows in every performance.
The children enjoy every moment, gain so much confidence, and create wonderful memories along the way. Every show is unique, full of talent, and simply fantastic.

Theatretrain has been amazing for our daughter. She thoroughly enjoys it and her confidence has grown in only a few months. Teachers are lovely and approachable and you can tell they have a lot of love for their job!

Steve and the production team at Wrexham theatre train are so professional and the young people are very lucky to have training from such a dedicated group of people - i would not hesitate to recommend Theatre Train Wrexham to a young person.
Oaklahoma show was a joy to see how enthusiastic the performers were and how much the enjoyed singing/dancing.

Our daughter joined in February this year and she has thrived! Its never a chore to get her to go on a Saturday morning, its her favourite part of the week. Shes made some lovely friends and adores her teachers. Can't recommend this lovely theatre school enough!

Another wonderful show from Theatretrain Wrexham. Oklahoma was wonderful from start to finish. The children sounded wonderful and it was engaging throughout. To have so many children from all the age ranges on the stage together was wonderful to see, it was all so slick. My 2 year old didn’t move a muscle and was enthralled from start to finish. My son has thoroughly enjoyed the rehearsals and enjoyed show day so much he wanted to do it all over again today. Thank you to Steve and the wonderful team at Theatretrain Wrexham.

Our daughter has been attending Theatretrain Harborne for 4 and a half years, the increase in her confidence in that time has been amazing. Mel and the team have been supportive from the start. She loves going every week and has pushed herself to do things we couldn’t have imagined. We are especially of proud of her performance at the Royal Albert Hall. TT is such an important part of her life, with the skills she has now and the friends and memories she’s made I highly recommend it!

The leader, Melanie Dykes, is a true inspiration. She leads with such passion, continually motivating and encouraging the students. She notices every individual's unique strengths and offers the right challenges to optimise their personal growth. A huge congratulations to everyone at Theatre Train Mold on a fantastic performance of Welcome to Oklahoma! The dedication, passion, and commitment of the staff really shone through, and it’s clear how much hard work goes into giving the performers such an amazing opportunity to shine. The cast were brilliant, and the whole production was a joy to watch.

Harry absolutely loved playing Curly and has been encouraged and supported every step of the way. This role has meant so much to him, and he will miss being Curly so much. Thank you to everyone at Theatre Train for helping create such a wonderful experience and so many special memories.
