Had a great evening at the Manchester branch and Olly was the hostess with the mostest. He was very attentive ensuring everything was ok couldn’t have done any more for us he was polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble he is a credit to the business. Food was really good too, thank you again Olly 👏🏻

Mums with 50% off keyring Monday/Tuesdays took daughters ( 4total) for lunch. Lunch menu state £9 for choices. Bill did not reflect the 50% off stated lunch prices and explanation was the 50% offer applied to full price items only. We told the waiter before ordering about the keyring and he did not mention this did not apply to the lunch menu or that there was an alternative full price menu.
There was no small print or any indication that the lunch menu would cost £16.50 per choice if we used the keyring.
The bill was a surprise and luckily the mums took us to check it out before taking their group. I feel shamelessly conned.

ALDO WAS BLOODY BRILLIANT
aldo was on the ball constantly, i’ve honestly never had a greater server, stuff of miracles. i will definitely be visiting again with the soul purpose of seeing aldo couldnt als for a better experience. GIVE THE MAN A PAYRISE

We visited the Blues Kitchen in Manchester over the weekend for an unusual celebration. We had a table reserved which was available on time. We were served by Margaret, an absolutely lovely lady and she couldn't have been more attentive to us, a credit to your company. The decor was gorgeous, music great and food AMAZING. I can not thank all their staff enough for making this an occasion to remember through their extremely kind generosity and thoughtfulness!! Blown away by it!! We will definitely return and I highly recommend it.

Abusive (physical and verbal, to male and females), and refusal from security staff to display SIA badge (a
requirement for security staff). Violation of the law, a disgraceful bootleg company who does not hold staff accountable and encouraged breaking of laws regarding the display of SIA badges

Had a booking for 10:15 for food, got there- the table wasn’t ready as there were people still eating. Which is bad time management as we expected with a booking to be seated straight away. Was waiting for an additional 30 minutes. Finally after us reminding the staff we had a booking for food they sat us down. Main course was nice. Wanted to order dessert. Kitchen closed. Which isn’t fair as they were late seating us and on top of that never came round asking for anymore orders as the kitchen was closing. It’s a shame because the place is decorated nicely but the management of this place isn’t up to standard.

I wanted to share my recent experience at The Blues Kitchen in Brixton during my visit on Saturday, 24th February.

While I had previously enjoyed visits to this establishment before the pandemic, unfortunately, my recent experience was not as pleasant. Upon arrival, my friend and I were greeted politely by the entrance staff. We decided to dine in and were fortunate to secure a table, thanks to a helpful staff member.

Throughout our visit, the atmosphere and music were enjoyable, and our waitress, Lauren, initially greeted us enthusiastically. However, our experience took a negative turn when we attempted to order dessert. Without prior explanation, Lauren abruptly informed us that as walk-in customers, we had a time limit and could not order dessert. This left us feeling humiliated and shocked, as the restaurant's time limit policy was not communicated to us earlier. Adding to our discomfort, Lauren snatched the menus out of our hands without warning.

Although the manager apologised for the misunderstanding and assured us we could stay for dessert, the atmosphere remained awkward. While we appreciated the gesture, the overall experience was marred by Lauren's behaviour and the lack of communication regarding the restaurant's policy.

As a result, I felt compelled to share my experience to ensure that others are aware of the restaurant's policies and to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. While I understand the challenges faced by the hospitality industry, it is essential to maintain respectful and courteous customer service.

I hope my feedback is helpful.

2nd visit and would recommend the place for the good food and music. We had great service from our friendly waiter, Simba. Unfortunately the experience was spoilt by the unfriendly manager (blonde lady) who struggles to smile and be nice to paying diners. We have experienced her rudeness on two occasions. She has a cold military approach rather than one of hospitality. This is a shame, as a positive attitude would really change the vibe of this place.

Delicious food and great service from the manager - David. He was really helpful, particularly with my 3 yo who is very chatty and loved talking to David! He was very engaging with her and the best thing was how he encouraged her to eat all of her dinner and behave nicely and then topped it off with a fabulous dessert for her! The venue itself is lovely. It is a tad dark for daytime food and you do have to climb a 3 or 4 flights of stairs to get to the toilet but makes eating all of the chicken worth it! Food was really yummy.

Terrible bar staff. Was accused of sexist comments when there was a clear misunderstanding after just telling a bar waiter that we were already being served. I was left confused and surprised when approached by 2 bouncers who asked me to leave. No room for a word to explain that it was a misunderstanding. We had just paid for our drinks and had to leave them behind.

I loved it. had an IPA beer and a burger. had a great time. great music. in Shoreditch.

Here for a hen party, felt welcome, great staff

Fabolous night with my friends. We had such a good time there. The drinks are awesome, the staff is superb and I loved the music.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Blues Kitchen branch on Acre Lane in Brixton. The level of customer service I received was exceptional and left me thoroughly impressed. The entire staff was not only friendly but also went out of their way to make my visit memorable.

I want to give a special shout-out to Alex and Antonio, who each provided outstanding customer service on separate occasions. Their attention to detail, genuine friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond truly enhanced my overall experience at the restaurant. It's rare to find such dedicated and personable staff members who truly care about making their customers feel welcome and valued.

The atmosphere at The Blues Kitchen was vibrant and energetic, perfectly complemented by the top-notch service. I left with a big smile on my face, looking forward to returning soon. My visits to this branch have consistently been a delight, largely thanks to the incredible staff. I highly recommend The Blues Kitchen on Acre Lane to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience filled with excellent service and a warm, welcoming ambiance.

Also wanted to mention the drinks there are always good. I recommend the Zombie.

Been in here before and the two bouncers on Thurs 3 Aug 2023 at 21:23 told us we were not allowed in because it’s reservations only. We actually phoned the venue while outside and asked if they had reservations available and they said “yes we have lots or availability tonight” and I said “great, are we able to come for some drinks too or is it reservations only?” and she said “yes that’s fine, come on over”. I told her we were stood outside and that the bouncers just told us is was reservations only, and she suddenly said oh we’re fully booked and the bars full, after telling me they had loads of availability and the bar was available. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL venue and staff. She was stuttering her words after that as she knew she had messed up. I won’t ever be coming back here again and will never recommend anyone ever goes here. In fact I will be recommending people avoid the place! Not impressed at all about how downhill this venue has got.

Booking was cancelled by the venue. Booked the private room for 50 people at The Blues Kitchen in Camden. Exchanged several emails, received the booking form and paid a £200 deposit. Followed up with the venue to go over some details. However when they discovered that the event was my son’s 18th birthday party they were no longer interested and cancelled the booking. Even though I made it clear there would be adults and other family members attending. Every venue has the right to set its own policies. I get that. But if they have such a firm policy then why not put it on their website or booking form as other venues do? Rather than wasting everyone’s time and leaving an 18 year old disappointed and without a venue to celebrate his big day.

I went to blues kitchen in Brixton and THIS is how you run a bottomless wings meal!

Got there around 1 pm and by 10 past, we were into our first portion. Our waiter was attentive and keep us topped up with wings and drinks. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and I loved the vibrancy and look of the place. Would highly recommend, I'll 100% be going back.

The Abba vs Fleetwood mac DJ was absolutely insufferable and barely played anything by either band until I BEGGED and then went off in a mood. Poor service and poor music taste. READ THE ROOM!!
