The Bottle Bank 

An absolutely awful experience dealing with this place, they are dishonest, rude and outright disrespectful.

Coral at The Bottle Bank advertised a coffee machine for sale on a classified advert. We agreed a price in crystal clear terms and I was told I could collect the machine that evening.

I travelled last night after 6pm from North Wales and was ghosted till after 9pm at night.

Later she said that she had been out at dinner and couldn't answer.

I told I could collect the machine that evening. Then she changed her mind and was told that noone was in to take the money. She said I could view the machine if I wanted to because the pub was open that evening.

I went down in good faith and viewed the machine. Having seen it was suitable for my needs I agreed to stay in the area overnight as I do not live locally so that I could collect it in the morning.

I made it crystal clear that I would be staying locally exclusively to get the machine in the morning.

Morning came and went and I didn't hear from them at all, so at 11am I chased it up and was told to turn up at 12:30pm and was given the number of a manager called Hope.

I called to confirm the appointment and was told to come in at 2pm not 12:30pm.

Finally, at 1pm I received a text from Hope who said the owner did not think the price was good enough despite it having been agreed very clearly the night before.

I had been looking at 2 machines and chose to buy this one because we agreed a price and they have done nothing but waste my time and money.

I have been put out of pocket and have wasted nearly 18 hours of my time here because they're dishonest and agreements means nothing to them.

They tried to assert it was a 'communication error' but I have attached the messages, you decide.

Honestly, their conduct must make Holmes Chapel and the surrounding areas ashamed of them. After this experience I wouldn't buy a pint from them let alone anything else.

A very pleasing service throughout. I will definitely use again and would definitely recommend. Although, a wider choice of stock (beers) wouldn't go a miss...but even so a BIG THUMBS UP from me !

Well packaged - (we had bottle and delicate glasses delivered).

Item was a gift and there is an option to provide a gift message. The message is printed on the delivery note for the package so my only feedback to enhance the experience is that if you ask ask for a gift message, print this off separately on a card.
