The Cookie Dealer Avis 

Ordered a few cookies for a friend's birthday, they use DPD as the courier who are absolutely useless, lying about trying to deliver. Even caught the driver getting back in his van after taking a photograph of my front door, and refused to give me the parcel.

The reason for the 2 stars is, when I initially made contact with the company about the delivery issues, I was called almost immediately, and promised they'd get the issue sorted by the end of the day, or they'd resend the order with royal mail the following day. It's now been three days with no response. I have tried to contact them again and again to let them know I'm still without the cookies.

Please please please stop using DPD. I won't be ordering from here again for that exact reason, they're a useless courier.

And PLEASE reply to emails. I've given my money to recieve absolutely nothing, not even an email. It's genuinely ridiculous

Update: was finally contacted only after seeing this review. They issued a refund that I have now recieved, which was done pretty quickly. So adding a star on for that

I ordered a box of 8 (on the 'buy 7 get the 8th free' deal) on a whim after seeing an ad on IG, and boy did they exceed all of my expectations.

First of all, the packaging on its own deserves an 11 out of 10. Each cookie was individually packaged, with cooking instructions on the back of each one, all neatly packed into a sturdy, glossy box. (I've worked in marketing and branding for years so I can appreciate good, premium packaging when I see it).

Everything arrived within 3 days, placed my order on a Saturday and it arrived the following Tuesday.
Considering I placed my order in the middle of a raging heatwave too, I was fully prepared for some melted casualties, but everything arrived in excellent condition.

The cookies themselves were stunning. I ordered a mixture of the Dot Cakes and Pistachio Kinders, and got a bonus Chocolate Chip cookie for free.

I did see a review that said the cookies tasted bland... I can only assume this person either didn't bake/microwave theirs before eating them or just prefers an ungodly amount of sugar in their cookies.
I tried my first one at room temperature which wasn't as sweet as i expected (but i wouldn't call it bland by any means), so i airfried the remainder for a few minutes before I ate them and believe me, they taste A LOT sweeter when they are warm. I would describe them as very indulgent, buttery, soft-baked cookies with just the right amount of sweetness. Airfrying them added a nice, thin crust to the outside too.

Overall I was very happy with everything, the only thing I would change is I would've liked to have had the nutritional info for each cookie included somewhere on the packaging. I was able to get this info from the website for 2 out of the 3 flavours I ordered, but 1 of the flavours was only available for a limited time and it had already dropped off the site by the time I got my order, but I can't hold that against the business, it's a 'me' thing. I still rate my overall experience 5/5 and I will definitely be ordering again!

Beautifully packaged product not tried yet but if it looks great in the box I’m sure the cakes 🧁 will be yummy.

I’d like to think I’m a bit of a cookie connoisseur and order from lots of bakeries across the uk and I think these guys take the top spot for me!
Always had incredible service from these guys - always fast shipping and cookies are delicious and fresh.
Particularly love their apple cinnamon doughnut cookie and cherry Bakewell. YUM.
They also make custom flavours on request which I did last year and they were perfection.

These guys deserve all the hype, if you haven’t already then please try!!

Great service. Highly recommended. As a side note - small businesses shouldn’t receive negative reviews based on courier performance.

Totally useless. Ordered before and okay but Christmas present totally ruined. Paid nearly 50 pounds and 1 item not in but contact was made and they put something in. However order not received and no delivery waited hours. Refund me NOW. Never again.

These cookies were bland, gritty and dull.

Dangerously good cookies! Very moreish! 20 seconds in the microwave and they are incredible!!

I just ordered another batch of cookies from the cookie dealer and I knew I was going to like them, my new favourite flavour is the carrot cake cookie because one my favourite cakes is carrot cake, and to combine it with cookies is amazing!!
Their service is great and the owners are really nice, I would definitely recommend this brand/community of people as they are great for what they do and what they stand for!!
