The reason I sought the help of The CV Guru was that I was struggling to get the tone and detail of my CV right. I'd done so many versions of it that I'd tied myself up in knots. I felt I needed to start afresh, and that having a new set of eyes on it would be of benefit.

Wendy called me at the beginning of the process (my request), and that proved really useful. She asked the right questions to tease out what I really wanted to say about myself. She then worked with what I already had, researching my role to add the detail and structure it was lacking.

I also paid for the LinkedIn profile and cover letter service. Again, Wendy did a great job in putting together my LinkedIn profile. It now looks really professional. There were also several tips on how to enhance my profile, which I appreciated, since I never really paid much attention to it previously! The cover letter was great, too.

The process took about 2 weeks. Wendy would reply and return documents within 2 working days. She was professional and helpful. I would definitely use The CV Guru again. I can't say for certain whether my new CV will create more opportunities/interviews yet, but I feel confident that it will.
