My Grandpa and I used Habitat Adventures Service to go on a two week long Safari Trip throughout many parts of Tanzania. The company and our guide Shaukat were very reliable. They custom tailored our trip to what we wanted to do. Shaukut is very experienced and knows where to find the animals, and does the hard work to do so. He is very familiar with all things safari, and we were very well taken care of. They planned our trip, and it went very smoothly. We stayed in great accommodations and saw incredible animal sightings.

I found Habitat Adventure Travel online after speaking with a friend who suggested Tanzania for a safari. The tour operator was great communicating what our options were and quickly provided a suggested itinerary that fit four of us. We were able to make a couple changes without any issues. We spent 5 days on safari with an experienced driver. The places we stayed, Gibbs Farm and Melia Serengeti were amazing. The safari parks and the animals we saw were extraordinary. Our guide was fantastic and the whole experience was once in a lifetime.

In August 2025 we had the privilege of going on a private Tanzanian safari with Goodluck Kombe and Habitat Adventures Travel. From the moment we initiated contact in July 2024 until our trip concluded on an airstrip in the Northern Serengeti National Park, Habitat Adventures Travel took care of every detail. They patiently answered our questions, drafted and redrafted our itinerary, walked us through the money transfers and guided us through the Visa and Insurance processes.  While on safari, Goodluck was extremely responsive and delivered on every one of our requests.

We also thought that Goodluck brought a technical expertise to our safari.  On one particular day we spent about 4 hours looking for leopards amongst the acacia trees.  It was the only animal missing from our search for the big 5. We found a pair in the late afternoon, exactly where he thought they might be, and we got our best photos of the entire trip.  In another instance he managed to keep our jeep out of the jumble of safari vehicles so when the wildebeest started crossing the Mara River we were able to move quickly and get the best viewing position.

While on a safari you spend a lot of time in the jeep with your guide. We found it was easy to spend time with Goodluck. He was extremely knowledgeable, forthcoming with stories and info about the animals and birds that we were seeing and always offered sound advice.

This trip had been on our bucket list for a long time. Habitat Adventures Travel helped us make it a reality.  In our opinion you can not go wrong trusting your safari to Habitat Adventures Travel.

What an experience with Goodluck and his staff! We were fortunate to travel with him for our 8 day safari through the major parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Central/Northern Serengeti) and he is the ultimate professional. From the beginning of the planning process (9 months before the trip with amazing response times via email and whatsapp from Goodluck) until our final ride to the airport in Arusha Goodluck was responsive, helpful, warm, detail oriented, caring and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the animals. Our lodging was amazing and even when there was a slight change in our lodging plan in the north he adapted and it did not dampen the experience. He is a very safe driver and while we were tired from all of the bumpy roads and long drives between parks, Goodluck never seemed to tire and kept up his energy level throughout. Our trips outside of the parks (Arusha, Materuni waterfall hike, coffee bar lunch-amazing) were also planned with thoughtful detail and we were all incredibly pleased with every aspect of the trip. Goodlucks demeanor and experience added so much and we all became friends and I know we will stay in touch and hopefully he will visit us in the USA. While it is a much smaller safari company then many of the others, we never felt like we were not receiving a full experience and everything we did was carefully planned and well executed. You will not go wrong with using Habitat Adventures for your trip to this amazing country.
