Customer relation with consignors
When Hula was first established, I consigned items with them and found their customer service to be good. However, when I recently considered consigning again, my experience was different. I spent time taking and submitting over 100 photos, but none of my item was accepted and no thorough explanation was provided.
I have previously consigned both contemporary and luxury items. While I understand that luxury brands may be more commercially attractive, the selection process appeared to favour certain consignors rather than being based purely on item condition, relevance, trend, or customer demand, as described on their website—particularly when it comes to contemporary brands. The overall experience was very disappointing.
