Lovely range of instruments, friendly staff, expert advice...the Music Bank is brilliant. We have bought a guitar, numerous music books and all kinds of accessories from the shop, and plan to keep visiting as our music journey continues. My son also attends guitar lessons there, and they are ace. Keep up the good work Music Bank!

The guitar is in excellent mint condition...exactly as described.
It was so very well packed in double cartons and lots of packing strong brown paper all around the guitar.
I am impressed.
It was safely delivered to my home address in Malta.

I have recently had a standard set-up carried out on my guitar by Paul. He has managed to completely transform the guitar from one that I struggled to play to one that is easy & comfortable. I bought the guitar (Japanese made Squire Stratocaster) new over 30 years ago but never really picked it up, always preferring to play others. We were in Knaresborough & came across The Music Bank. I went in to look at the superb range of guitars & equipment & noticed they offered a guitar set-up service. I returned with the Strat a few days later & explained to Paul what I was hoping to achieve from the set-up. I left the guitar for a couple of days. When I went back to collect it, I was amazed how different it was to play - superb!

In addition to this great service, everyone working in the store is knowledgeable & friendly. I would highly recommend The Music Bank & will certainly be returning in the future.

The guitar arrived with problems which should have been picked up on a pre delivery check. The guitar was returned easily with no fuss or hassle.

This place is great. A really helpful and friendly team of experienced techs and salesmen. They allow you to make offers in their items, and the owner (Dave I believe his name is) is absolutely lovely. We made a deal on a piece of equipment that I was after, for a good price. My only issue is with the courier they use (parcel force) in which the item I ordered didn't turn up for nearly a week when it was supposed to be next day. Other than that I'm happy with the outcome and will be using this store again in the future. They have decent prices on a lot of new and secondhand gear, but you have to act quickly because when it's gone it's gone.

Noah can't wait for his songwriting course. He really enjoys his drum lessons every week at Music Bank. The tutors and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

The world needs more small businesses that are well run and serve the community well like The Music Bank. I've been particularly impressed with their guitar tutor Adam who is inspiring me to improve and progress. All the team are really helpful and friendly with their expert advice.

Paul fitted a new adjustable bridge to my ukulele. Completely transformed the intonation. It's fantastic to have a uke that stays in tune high up the neck. Feels like a real professional instrument.

I have a very old, very rare and very temperamental Levinson Blade. I took this in for a set-up, new nut and swap the bridge pickup. The wiring on the old Blades isn’t straight forward but Paul didn’t research and even contacted the current Levinson distributors to obtain the wiring diagrams. I know I can be a demanding customer but The Music Bank really went above and beyond. The setup is fantastic, this guitar has never played or sounded as good as it does now, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you!

Super friendly staff on the phone, desk and in the music lessons. My two children really enjoy their drum lessons and have learned so much. Staff have always been helpful whenever we’ve needed to change a lesson or day of the week etc
