I personally wouldn’t shop here

At first glance the light is great quick delivery. But for the PRICE of the sign you would’ve thought it would last longer.
I’ve already been sent a replacement power pack which within a month has now stopped working aswell. Impossible to contact. Was diverted to a completely different company and told they would “WhatsApp” the company to tell them to call me back to discuss options. Wouldn’t waste your time or money.

Ordered a custom neon sign from The Neon Sign Co on theneonsign.co. Designing on the site was easy, and delivery was quick. The sign looked great upon arrival. However, communication with the company was poor, and I had issues with the power adapter overheating. While the product quality was good, the customer service needs improvement.

Well Pleased

Ordered a custom made Neon Sign, website was great designing our sign, placed order and was delivered within 2 weeks as promised.
Sign was well packaged and delivered via FedEx.
Great quality sign very happy with purchase will use again.

We love our new neon sign!

We ordered a neon sign for a newly renovated boarding house. It arrived within just a few days. It was perfect and has been greatly admired.

I recommend the company without any hesitation!

Incredibly poor customer service

Whilst I had no issue with the product (other than it arriving almost 3 weeks late), trying to communicate with this company is almost impossible. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t reply to emails or reply to queries via their website. My advice is shop elsewhere.

So much can change in a year…

Purchased a couple of custom Neon lights for my business about a year ago. The neons were fantastic and I was very happy with the service I received at that time.

Just under a year later, one of the neons stopped working so I emailed customer services and I was emailed back within a week explaining that the transformers can go from time to time and to purchase a replacement from their website. So I did exactly that and received an order confirmation too.

At checkout there was no option for any quick delivery service but only the standard 14 days, 2 weeks later no dispatch email, no communication and no order.

Emailed them 3 times and did not get any response. I filled in the contact form online and got a response finally after weeks from George Moore. His excuse was that none of my emails were received, so I replied to him with the screenshots of all the emails and the mailing address was the exact same as the one he had contacted me from. Didn’t get a response to that either.

Seems like they will only respond if the email is about something positive. If your contacting them regarding faulty items/refunds or no order received then you’ll be waiting weeks for a reply, in fact you’ll be lucky if you even get a reply.

George had cancelled my order as I had requested because it was taking too long but had only partially refunded me. They kept the delivery fee. The order was not fulfilled and the item did not get dispatched, yet I was still charged for the delivery. Have already contacted them requesting a further refund but of course no response once again.

Not sure what’s happened to this company in a year but their customer service is appalling and I definitely would not be recommending them to anyone which is a huge shame considering I get so many compliments on my Neon lights.

Please save yourself from the headache and purchase your neon lights from a company that values ALL their customers.

Update - George emailed me back soon after this review was posted. He processed a refund for the remaining amount and sent me an apology email in response. He was polite and apologetic and explained the partial refund was due to a system error.

I am a small business owner myself so I know things can go wrong from time to time but to have several customers all saying the same thing, then you know something isn’t right. You need to do better and if you cannot, then hire someone that can. Communication is key especially with customer service.

I hope this makes them realise.

Taking This To Fire Investigation & British Standards

Waited nearly a month for the product which was definitely not fit for purpose and even if it worked I wouldn't trust it as it definitely did not come under British standards. Don't get me started on customer service. Still waiting for them to acknowledge my complaint let alone refund me for a faulty and no doubt dangerous product.
It is definitely NEON SIGN CO same logo and everything! So asking Trustpilot to remove my review because you feel I was not a genuine customer does reflect in NEON your true colours!
Also I took a magnifying glass out to try and find said CE marking because it was not visible to the naked eye....It was no where to be seen not on the product, not on the sticker that said made in China and not on the instruction sheet. As per British Standards it's supposed to be visible.... Its NOT!
Call me sceptical but in 20 years of being in the Fire Service we see far too many Fires caused by electrical equipment not under these standards so as explained I would like a refund....... Having just received an email from you saying " Hey There. Good News ! Your order is on its way, you can start getting excited now!" Im really not excited so please do not send another switch. What is going on NEON SIGN... I requested a refund!
I have sent an email that took nearly two weeks to respond saying it's been nearly a month and I have not received the product..... I figured I didn't want to wait another two weeks so I left a message on your website to see if this would be quicker.... in this message I requested a refund and expressed my concern over the product not only re the questionable British Standards but also the female end was not round but oval because it was squashed and the product just seemed flimsy!
Also APC 4 attempted deliveries, ONE calling card left and a video of the guy (which I sent to you) just lifting my letterbox , no package in hand and no calling card either! Choice of delivery company is also poor and no doubt cheap!
You guys are hilarious I have the emails with the same logo as your company making ref to this review. It's definitely the same company ! Don't worry about the refund you promised, Im thinking the twenty pound spent on the product is well invested if Trading Standards deems it not safe??

Impossibly bad customer service, and a failed product

Sign designers were worse than my own designs. The product arrived quickly and looked great. However, after 6 months, we needed to purchase a new power adapter, and the company was VERY difficult to communicate with. The same issue occurred again the next month. The sign is clearly overheating. And after 3 or 4 emails demanding some support, the Director offered a small discount on a new sign. I asked more questions, including some reassurances it wouldn't happen again, and the director stopped responding to me altogether. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate.

This company is a complete scam. They never answer the phone no matter when you call during the day, and they answer emails sporadically sometimes 3 weeks after you write to them.

We ordered a large neon sign for our company that stopped working 6 months later. The dimmer had burnt and, although the sign was still under warranty, they didn't want to collect it and fix it. They said that we had to arrange the transport to their workshop outside London and that they wouldn't take any responsibility for any breakage or damage during transit !

Eventually we approached another neon company who helped us out even though we didn't order it from them. They confirmed that both the dimmer and power supply were not adapted to the size of the sign.

Don't waste your time or money with this company. They will let you down or simply ignore you if you have any issue with your sign.
