The One Stop Money Shop was founded in 2002 and originally started as a credit broker for short term affordable loans. The business later transformed into an online money lender as it continues to operate today.
Based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, we are proud to our northern roots and to be serving the whole of the UK with a flexible, instalment loan product. Moving away from the traditional payday loan product, we are pleased to offer loans repaid over 6,9 and 12 months which give customers greater flexibility and breathing space to repay their loans.
The One Stop Money Shop is a fully authorised lender under the Financial Conduct Authority, registration number 713424.
As an authorised firm, we have demonstrated our commitment to provide safe and transparent financial products with our customers' best interests at heart.
We carry out a series of checks to ensure that customers can afford to repay our loans without falling into financial difficulty and being clear and transparent is part of the company culture and centre to everything we do.

I have reported this business to the…
I have reported this business to the advertising standards agency and FCA for FALSE ADVERTISING. Their website CLEARLY states that they take every application on its own merit and have an underwriting team who look at each application. This is a blatant lie as once I had input my details on their website it IMMEDIATELY said they could not help.
Liars who will face the repercussions of their nonsense.
EDIT: The response is nonsense as I have been in employment my whole adult life.
My review is still totally valid.
EDIT: Further to my previous comments, I have no further wish to perform anything with you. My report for false advertising is still sent and you may want to learn how to spell admin as I assume that is what the email address should state instead of 'amdin'. Clearly shows the lack of credibility as a business. Do better.

They are rude
They are rude, vile and threatening. They have no interest in any customers wellbeing.
They set up direct debits without your authorisation. And then they threaten legal court papers then charge you £50 for it.
They also take into someone else’s wages/income bank account, even though their name isn’t on the loan.
Will be reporting them.

Our goal has always been to provide reasonable access to affordable credit for individuals who may not be able to access credit elsewhere. We have managed to achieve this by ensuring that we treat every applicant as an individual and fully assess every customers' circumstances to ensure that the product we provide will help them. As a responsible lender, all our loans are subject to an in-depth suitability assessment. This takes into account any information we obtain from the Credit Reference Agency, meaning that, unfortunately, there are some applications that we are unable to approve.
We would also like to reassure you that we do not collect customers data to share with other companies.
Application was simple enough.
Application was simple enough.. it was the repeated emails and texts asking for information that had already been submitted in the application.. This happened on more than one occasion..
Just kept repeating information already submitted..

As we specialise in lending to people with past credit issues, a higher rate of interest is charged which reflects the higher risks involved. All applicants must read and sign the loan agreement - indicating that they are happy with the terms
Dragged along all day and gave everything
After seeing these glowing reviews that TOSMS look closely at your circumstances rather then treat you as a score i felt that they would understand. Other lenders refused but TOSMS approved me and then asked for loads of information which i presented within 30 mins of them sending the email.
However, they were insisting on open banking which is not possible due to my bank not being on the list to choose to connect too. But having no ccj or defaults or even missing a payment in the last 3 years i was still told after initially approval that i was declined.
So in short i gave a lot of information in and wasted all that time and effort on falsely leading me into thinking TOSMS was different. But in reality if you haven't got open banking i wouldn't waste a day sending in a large amount of information throughout the day. In my case it was 4 emails of information i replied to and sent in.
And that's without a bad credit score or bad credit repayments.
So sad about the outcome and the leading along.

As responsible lenders we must ensure all information declared and provided is correct. This sometimes means asking for further documentation. Open banking is sometimes required based on credit score, loan amount and other parameters. We are sorry we were unable to assist this time
