Don’t order these as a gift to be received by any date

I ordered a box of pretzels to be delivered home for my kids to eat while I was on an extended trip for two weeks. I was surprised that by 6 days after ordering I received zero notification of what was going on with my order. When I reached out, I asked for a refund because I was hoping they’d receive the order BEFORE I came back and was hoping they’d get it in time for Valentine’s Day (7 days from my order date). They pointed me to their policy that they won’t even guarantee any packing or shipping. They say they have a 5-10 business day window to bake their pretzels and then it will take 1-3 days to ship them after the pretzels are ready. This means once you place an order on a Friday you might not receive your pretzels for a maximum of 16 days!! This is a twisted view of the 5-10 day promise. I’ve never seen any business operate like this before shipping within the US. Just be careful ordering for a gift for birthdays or anything else. No one will receive their gift in time.

Crooks

Crooks, they send you moldy old pretzels late, then blame the carrier. When you contact them, they call you a liar, talk to you extremely rude. Will not refund. Its some sort of scam. It shouldn't take a month to get your order then come moldy! It has to be coming from over sea's, and molding on its way!
Do not buy!!

I’d give this company minus 5 stars. I ordered a Birthday Box of pretzels on December 1. It was for a friend’s birthday on December 15. Thought that would be plenty of time to get delivered. Today is December 26 and they were finally delivered! That’s 25 days from the day I ordered them. Sent a few emails and was continually referred back to my confirmation email. Tone of email was condescending. My mistake not to scroll to end of the email where it stated “ holiday delivery December 10-24”. The pretzels didn’t even come in that time frame! Not for my friend’s birthday OR Christmas! Plus, was notified on a Monday that order was picked up, but delivery was on Friday. Not sure how fresh the pretzels were, and hopefully they weren’t moldy like some others have stated. Not a fan of The Pretzel Company, and won’t be ordering from them again.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. Go anywhere else. I ordered twice. One preorder (or I would have learned my lessone with the first order). Products come "fresh" but both arrived late by 2 days and were not consumable per the company due to potential mold. The costumer service interection was by far the WORST I have ever encountered. Rude, condescending, and just full on not interested in providing good costumer satisfaction. I didn't even ask for a refund the first time and they were so nasty that after the second issue I requested one. Save your money and look elsewhere for a gift.

prices going up thx to Opra

around 4 bucks for a pretzel that is the size of 3 fists in size, you would pay 8 or 9 at a carnival for. Good flavor, worth the value.

now a few months later and 28 a box, to fame from Opra and is now at $40 a box of 8.

Not shipped 12 days later

I ordered from their national website. When I ordered, they made it clear it would not arrive by Christmas. But everything still indicated it would ship w/i their normal shipping time, and just not get here until after Christmas. That was not a problem, as they were not for Christmas. But then it became apparent they were not even going to ship it until after Christmas. So I left a negative review on judge.me, only about that it did not ship in the stated time frame (again, fully accepting they would not arrive until after Christmas). Well they then replied attacking me over it. Re-emphasizing "not in time for Christmas" but ignoring the expectation it would still ship w/i 5 days and just "arrive after Christmas". They make these very negative and unprofessional attacks on many of the people who give them a negative review. They also cancelled and refunded my order, not something I asked for or wanted. But in hindsight, probably best, since they're responses have been very unprofessional. I guess I hoped that in response to my emails and review, they would have just gotten my order out the door before Christmas. And their Review setup with judge.me is very suspicious. As immediately I got replies about my review that came directly from thepretzelcompany.
