Had such a peaceful overnight stay at the Rings campsite. There is no electric hook up but there are loads of facilities in the well-equipped kitchen including a large fridge-freezer to put things in.... Voir plus

Our award-winning accommodation has been designed to welcome everyone, including guests with physical disabilities, additional support needs, and neurodiverse visitors. We believe that memorable experiences should be accessible to all, and we continually work to remove barriers wherever possible. Alongside our accommodation, we operate Bissets Barn, a fully accessible indoor education and play space created to encourage learning through hands-on experiences, imaginative play, and exploration. Children and adults can enjoy interactive exhibits, dressing-up areas, sensory opportunities, and activities that help connect people with farming, food production, wildlife, and rural life. The Rings is also home to Ring Farm Experiences, a series of bookable countryside activities that provide a genuine insight into life on a working farm. Unlike a traditional farm park, our farm is not generally open to the public, making these experiences a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn directly from the people who live and work here. Experiences vary throughout the year and may include seasonal farming activities, animal encounters, educational demonstrations, and special events. An amazing find that I’d highly recommend
An amazing find that I’d highly recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our camp; the glorious Scottish weather 🌧️🌈 really didn’t matter because the surrounds are so perfect, and our kids loved being able to play in the barn and relax in the sensory room (perfect for neurodivergent people). We’ve had so many lovely walks, time at the beach and night times where the kids played with new friends and we sat by a lovely fire.
Facilities wise, the bathrooms (toilet and shower combined) were perfect - clean, tidy, hot water with a lovey powerful shower). The only one tiny thing that I could say I’d change would be to add a small sheltered roof over the dishwashing area; but honestly it was perfect, we didn’t want to leave and absolutely will return (perhaps to stay in the accommodation during winter).
I was blown away by the approach to holidays for all - I’ve not seen anything similar to this offering a functional holiday for people with all needs starting with hoists and specialist beds - and wheelchair friendly (spacious doors, no steps etc.)

Absolutely fantastic experience. sheperdess & Shepherd were delightful, super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend thoroughly enjoyed the experience with my 2 year old and supporting local business.

Moira and David are absolutely brilliant, so friendly and helpful. So informative was an amazing experience and to top it all off i got to assist in birthing a Lamb. We witnessed 7 lambs being born. It was fantastic and I would love to so it all again

Up close and very personal watched as a lamb was born right in front of us another in the group assisted with the actual birth
Well organised and tons of information without making it complicated perfect for everyone toddlers to grannies the sheep are obviously not stressed and well looked after. we all got to participate in feeding, encouraged to ask questions all the way through, experience is an hour and a half which is plenty to enjoy it without feeling rushed.
