The Rose Press Garden Avis 

Ordered a few packets of seeds from the sale. Quick delivery and nicely packaged. Some of the seeds I ordered were specific and said they were just going to come in the foil packet which was nice to have the choice to order it not. The ones that came in full descriptive packets were lovely. Can't comment on seed quality as I haven't planted any yet. Will order again if they grow OK.

Do Not order from this company!..especially via NotOnTheHighStreet!
Numerous emails/voicemails from myself and NOTHS customer services.
After 2 weeks still no response and still no goods.
Absolutely appalling way to treat customers.

I have been ordering now for just over a year. I was a little disappointed with a couple of the initial boxes and it is annoying that every email tells you to join the app that no longer is live. But for most of this year, there has been an amazing variety of plants and bulbs arriving every month to my door. I particularly loved the roses and have plenty of bulbs in this year so looking forward to seeing the blooms.

I’ve ordered many times over the years and I’ve always been impressed with the items received. I absolutely love the spring bulbs (so much variety) and have purchased more this year, they all arrived quickly, are great quality and packaged lovely. I can’t wait to see them all in spring.

Love this subscription service & I look forward to seeing what surprise I will find in my box each month. What I am really enjoying is the move towards sending more live plants than just seeds. The best part is receiving these plants & also a variety of bulbs and tubers during the year too. I’ve been introduced to some new varieties I’ve not come across before which has been wonderful. There is the option to purchase additional bulbs etc on their website too. This is a great little company & the subscription is great either for yourself or as a gift idea.

5 stars I would give more if there was a higher star than 5 how do you for it June's box is amazing where am I going to put all these plants love it will be planting tomorrow can't wait thus has made me so happy thank you

We loved the packaging and presentation. Information regarding the items was super informative. This subscription wasn't ideal for us as we are keen gardeners and none of the last 3 months items were anything we haven't already seen or have in our garden. We were probably expecting more live plants than seeds.
In general a good box for the less experienced gardener.

I absolutely love my monthly deliveries! Excited to see all the bulbs turn into lovely flowers in spring! It’s been much better recently and more flowers/bulbs. Wasn’t so fussed on the seeds they’re too much effort!

Izzy and her team has created a market. The subscription are beautifully packaged, good quality and has introduced me to flowers outside my normal selection. Full instructions via a qr code, and a friendly social media presence. What a wonderful way to plant in collaboration

I’ve been a long term subscriber of the subscription box and am always really impressed with the quality of products and thought that goes into each month - it’s definitely my happy post each month!

While the subscription box has slightly increased in price as it’s evolved, so has the offering and it’s still great value for money. For example the three hellebore plants that were in the December box were of amazing quality and value and are looking fabulous in my front garden!

You have plenty of advanced warning if you ever want to pause or stop your subscription as well.

Lizzie is always on hand to answer any questions you might have, despite just becoming a Mum and having a lot on. It’s great to be able to support a small independent business and a female founder. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic products, whether it is plants, seeds or bare roots. I love being able to pause monthly subscription, the quality is fantastic and service is always brilliant. I never used to like growing seeds for my garden but with the beautiful varieties available from TRPG it's been a new found love.

First time trying the subscription. They asked for feedback so this is my honest opinion. I like the instagram account so I bought this with good will.

I like the plant selection but not sure it’s a good subscription offer.
Unfortunately the plants were very root bound, I’ve planted them but I’m worried they won’t have survived. I emailed but didn’t hear back, which also happened when I bought some roots earlier in the year.

In terms of the value for money…Other subscriptions I’ve had have felt a bit more personal and thought through. I think the added touches help you justify the expense. For this one, my package had 3 hellebores and a postcard. Emails prompted me to download the app but the app isn’t available when I search for it. Maybe there are some more nice touches on the app, but for a subscription box I think it’s worth trying to add some more physical small items into the actual package, that reflects the theme of the month, this was the December box so could have had something festive winter themed. (Other subscriptions I’ve tried offer things like tea bags, sweets or snacks, magazine/books, artworks, stationary, recipe cards etc)

I don’t really want an app, maybe they could used the subscriber feature on instagram to offer more stuff. But generally I think more physical items in the package would be nice.
