WOW - what a class and what an amazing Chef Valeria is! My friend and I did a private class with with Valeria, it was so much fun. Valeria is so organised, she had all the ingredients already measured out, her kitchen perfect for lessons! She was so kind, so knowledgable on her recipes and technique. The recipes of the Italian sweets we made, torta della nonna, biscotti, and the panacotta, were perfect recipes to learn and then go practice at home. Valeria also makes everything so easy, including packaging for all the goodies (which is such a lovely touch) and providing the full recipes on email after. I really reccommend this class for anyone who wishes to start OR continue to perfect their culinary skills. It was such a wonderful afternoon...thank you my dear Valeria!!

I loved the French Macaron class! Lots of tips and hands-on baking. We got to make macarons and 3 delicious fillings in Valeria's beautiful kitchen. Highly recommend, especially for small groups.

I had the pleasure to attend French Patisserie class run by Valeria. In a very friendly environment, I've learnt a lot from a great and skilled teacher, even though I consider myself a good baker. Eventually, I've learnt the secret to make proper profiteroles, a secret I was looking for ages as I tried this recipe in the past but never got it right. Thank you Valeria.

I attended the French macaron baking class which was very well organised for 5 students. Valeria is a very experienced baker and explains the techniques well.
I enjoyed the whole experience which including making the macaron shells from scratch and three fillings. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn or perfect their macarons.

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending the French patisserie class at The Sweet Bit with Valeria. The experience has been awesome.
Valeria is a very professional, kind, and knowledgeable teacher. She made the class not only informative but also very enjoyable.
The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the welcoming and homey environment was ideal for learning.
I liked the balance between individual and group work. It made the learning process both collaborative and personal.
I appreciated all the tips and info on the science behind baking, shared by Valeria. Understanding the "why" behind the "how" of baking techniques added a fascinating aspect to the class.
I also loved bringing home the fruit tart and the profiteroles I had made during the class with Valeria's expert guidance (my family appreciated too).
I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to learn both new skills or improve their current ones.

I’d love to post the picture of the macarons I made on my own last Sunday, they were amazing and it’s thank to Valeria! She is the best teacher ever (beside being the best monastery chef!). It’s my second course with her, the recipes are very easy to follow and Valeria adds to them her tips to avoid typical mistakes and make your pastries really special! She is nice and so welcoming, I have always had fun during the classes with very nice people. Absolutely recommended!!

Great baking class! Absolutely recommend it as a surprise birthday experience. It was fun for beginners and seasoned bakers too! The cake, madeleines and pistachio biscotti turned out delicious :) Class had a smooth flow and learned lots of valuable techniques. Thank you Valeria!

My two young grandchildren and I attended a baking class with Valeria. We made THE most amazing tasting and beautiful macarons. There truly is an art to making the most perfectly textured macaron. Valeria shared those secrets and our cookies were as good as those from a French bakery! Valeria was wonderful with my grandchildren as she helped them manage the pastry bag and carefully fill the macaron template she made.
Next, we made delicious chocolate/banana cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Again, my grandchildren got to participate in every step of the process. After they piped on the frosting, they added edible Halloween tidbits. Again, the cupcakes were "bakery quality!" The experience was fun for all of us and we can't wait to attend another Sweet Bit class right in Valeria's home kitchen!

Valerie was a really good teacher, explaining everything in detail and answering all our questions. The bakes were incredible and she had a beautiful flat. She was also really helpful in arranging the class as I was having difficulty booking. Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the French Patisserie class run by Valeria. Valeria is very skilled and she is a great teacher. I learnt a lot in the class and was able to ask any questions I had throughout. The class was a small group which meant everyone got to know each other over the few hours we were baking together and Valeria made us very comfortable in her home - we even sat and had tea/coffee while taste testing our bakes! I would definitely recommend this class!

We had such a lovely morning, baking with Valeria. She was such a great teacher and planned and organised every little detail. We all learn't so much and had a lot of fun! I would highly recommend her.

Firstly, Valeria was very helpful in rearranging dates a couple of times to accommodate our schedule. From there, the class was great. We baked so much in three hours yet it felt very laid back the whole time, including a little coffee break. Valeria is very welcoming and super knowledgable, covering things from technique to baking chemistry, but made it all easy to grasp. Just felt like we were in a friend's kitchen having a good time.

We had a fantastic time at Valeria's Italian Baking Class. She was very kind, welcoming and knowledgable and the recipes were very easy to follow and very tasty.
I highly recommend this class and we'll definitely be booking again.

I took the afternoon tea baking as a one on one class when I was looking to do something memorable during my visit to London. I can't say enough good things about my experience!

All of the ingredients we needed were ready to go and very well organized especially since we made 3 different recipes !

The timing of the class was also perfect. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to learn new, or improve current baking skills. I can see this being super fun for small friend groups as well.

Valeria's baking class was so interesting. We learned to bake 3 different items and she explained through each of them step by step. We were encouraged to ask questions and clear doubts. She also offered lot of baking tips, which made it better to understand why we are doing something a particular way. She also explains how to look for signs to know when the process is going right/wrong.
Valeria made our group feel at home and offered wonderful coffee & biscotti during our break. An afternoon well spent!

I did the French Patisserie class, which is great for complete beginners or occasional bakers whom want to learn more recipes. Under the guidance of Valeria in a small group of four, you work in pairs to make the three bakes, she gives you careful attention, demonstrates techniques and offers super helpful tips. Valeria was welcoming and encouraging. You can tell she’s very experienced, too! I thoroughly enjoyed the class and have gained the confidence to make these again at home.
