First rate, excellent service from the team at Vasstech Durham; from my very first conversation with Ian, to the long in-person process of investigating my car’s issue today, I was treated throughout, with the utmost respect and courtesy - none of this awful condescending treatment that many garages still favour, when interacting with female customers. Here in Durham, the highest standards of customer service are adhered to and carried out - everything explained in an equitable and respectful way; the customer kept in the loop throughout .

Superb honest advise.

Without going into specifics, I used this garage under recommendation from a mechanic friend for my Audi and I was in their honest hands to help me with my car. They worked on it and could have charged me anything for the work that they had done but I was pleasantly surprised that they charged me very little compared to other places would have. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Took my car in after reading loads of positive reviews and I'm really picky as to where I take it. I was told I needed a new clutch, fair play they said they'd try and sort It by the end of the week. Got the car back the next day, it was still making the same noise. £800 down! I took it to another VW garage who said there was nothing mechanically wrong with the car and the clutch should never have been replaced. A month later the noise is still there but drives fine and Ive completed a 600 miles round trip. I'd definitely avoid and I can't find the complaints procedure.

Connor and the staff at Vasstech are a breath of fresh air in an industry which tends to have such a negative reputation. I went in to discuss a problem I was having with my Golf clutch and was immediately impressed with Connor’s mechanical knowledge and the professional setup that Vasstech have in Durham. Whilst the car was being fixed (not a straight forward job), Connor kept me up to speed with progress, what parts were needed and how much the cost would be (which was very reasonable). A big thanks to Connor and all the staff at Vasstech Durham. I’ll be back (but hopefully not for a while!).

My car had an engine management light on and I was worried about the range of issues that could be causing it. I took the car into Vasstech Durham and they diagnosed and fixed the fault while I waited.

I was made to feel welcome and had the issue explained to me (glow plug replacement) before I committed to have the work done while I waited. It took about 30 minutes and that included them sourcing the part locally. The price was very reasonable too.

I always worry at car garages that I'm going to be overcharged, or they'll find extra things to do on the car to get more money out of me. It was quite the opposite at Vasstech. They assured me that the glow plug replacement is a common fault and it's a small job for them to do.

The whole experience felt very transparent. I knew exactly what work was being done on my car, how long it would take, and how much it would cost.

This is my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last.

Well after 35 years in the commercial truck trade ie sales, booked sons vw T cross In for service and mot and a few faults Telephone call all complete excellent service and the x2 lads in reception excellent, credit to the company, the reason I took his car to them was the recent excellent reviews, also the technicians are all knowledgeable and yes the price was very good, yes people say take car to the main dealers but when out of warranty the prices they charge are very very high, so try Vasstech I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

I don't normally do reviews but i thought these guys are worth a mention. My VW T6 has been in numerous garages over the past 2 years with an intermittent electrical fault that nobody could get to the bottom of. I took to Vasstech and they sorted it within 4hrs labour and I've just test drove it to the south of Spain with no issue. Well done guys. I don't intend to use anywhere else in the future.
